Samantha Silver lives in British Columbia, Canada, along with her husband and seventeen-year-old dog named Terra.
When she's not writing cozy mysteries, Samantha loves travelling (she's most recently been to Egypt, Jordan and Florida) skiing, eating Dairy Queen, and complaining about how hard running is.
This is an entertaining paranormal cozy mystery series. I find caster characters and an entertaining storyline. Stormy is a young woman who happens to be a witch. Along with a few of her friends in their small town. They are the witches murder club. Together they investigate and figure out who killed The latest murder victim. Storm only moved back to her town in the recent past as her family left many years ago to escape a Paranormal legal issue that was running rampant at the time. That problem came back many years later she caused the death of her mother father and aunt. It nearly cost her death as well. Luckily she survived and came back home to the hometown to find out what happened and who is at the cause of it. as she draws closer to figuring out who it was and catching that particular killer. More things are going on and she uncovers more mystery. Readon and see what happens.
I was going to stop reading this series with this book because I am not really that much of a fan of Storm or the witch club. There are many problems with the concepts like if Storm can heal herself and witches aren't human then why can't Albert heal himself from Alzheimer's? Why would he get such a human disease? The storyline about the whole mystery about the parent's death and Gary and so on was always more interesting than the mysteries being solved by the witch club. I also don't like their name ' witches murder club.' Now it seems like we are starting a new set of books in the series with more mysteries being the main point and the big bad wizard guy a sub plot. That kind of makes me mad.
On Crone Nine is Book 6 in the Witches Murder Club by Samantha Silver.
The truth is finally out about Storm's family. Now that they know who did it, but they are out to find the perpetrator and looking to bring them to justice.
This was a very exciting book! I love the characters in this series and the characters coming together to help Storm and each other.
I was on the edge of my seat following the clues to see what was going to happen.
The Witch Is Dead Storm and the rest of the Witches Murder Club have finally uncovered the truth--who killed Storm's family, and Gary. There's only one problem: getting justice. The culprit is a witch. The cat was just in time to retrieve the last thing. I borrowed this book from Kindle Unlimited. This in no way affects my opinion of this book which I read and reviewed voluntarily.
The truth is out, and Storm is on the warpath as she hunts down her parents killer. Loved how this story arc wrapped up, but with a new direction for future books to explore. Hoping that the mysterious Sphinx makes an appearance in the future, and here’s to the great friendships. Now it’s a waiting game til April and the next book 😮💨
This series started slow, I was unsure if I would finish the first book. I’m just invested in seeing how this whole mess comes out.. The lack of continuity between books is very disturbing.. honestly come to the conclusion that I could’ve written these books and I think the last time I did any writing was in years ago in college.
I really enjoyed book six of this story. I'm fully invested in Storm and the WMC. I would have liked to see more mischief in the storyline, and more direct interaction with the other members of the WMC, but as I get closer to the end of the story I'm sure there is more chaos to be had.
The unsinkable Molly needs to die. At least according to Storm and the Witches Murder Club. While Storm is ready to come out of hiding, is she ready for everything she will learn. What is revealed is another bag of poo that doesn’t bode well for Storm.
Now that Storm knows who's out to get her. She's on the offensive. While tracking Molly down, she learns there's another above Molly who wants her dead. Now the search continues for another unknown enemy.
I enjoyed this story but I thought it was the last book. Turns out that I have to wait for some time to find out about the end of the story. I hope the new book comes soon.
This is a well written and has well developed characters. The story is catching and with the strong characters makes for a very enjoyable read. Great Reading Everyone!
I didn't enjoy this book in the series as much as the others. I felt like it dragged on a bit. BUT I will definitely continue on because I want to know how everything will conclude!
