There was so much wrong with this story, it’s hard to remember it all.

The glaring faux pas is that the wedding kept being touted as a Christmas wedding.

In the last chapter, it’s disclosed that it’s being held in November. Outdoors. In the cold. In Montana.

Seriously????

Also, the fiasco of six people helping to embroider the wedding dress.
That’s not even possible. Obviously, the author and editor know nothing about sewing. That whole scene was ridiculous. Especially the guy who was altering the dress because it didn’t fit right, but he’d never even seen her wearing it.

I could go on & on, but it’s not worth the effort.

Best friends turned to fake engaged couple/lovers is the main theme of this story. Love how they worried about their friendship while ignoring the underlying romantic feelings each has held for the other. Enjoyed watching them work through their individual issues and coming together to make sense of their feelings.

This was a delightful friends to lovers, fake wedding romance. So many things to smile about here. I loved the way they loved each other! This was not overly Christmasy but the wedding does have a Christmas theme. Very much enjoyed!

Delightfully sweet and equally tantalizing! With the final book in her beloved Sutter Creek, Montana series Laurel Greer brings an emotional friends-to-lovers/fake romance trope to life with humor and affection and I enjoyed every minute of it!

Bea is super sweet and finds herself in quite the predicament just days before her wedding was supposed to play front and center on a reality show she contracted with to showcase her floral business. I enjoyed getting to know her, her family and most of all watching her prosper with Brody by her side.

Brody is a sweetheart who has been Bea's BFF for more years than they can count and is not able to sit idly by and watch her lose face over this scandal.

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone that enjoys a small town romance filled with quirky characters, endearing love stories and happily ever afters time and again.

Four and a half stars

Lights, Camera, Wedding by Laurel Greer is part of her Sutter Creek, Montana series, and is about Beatrix Halloran and her best friend Brody Emerson. They been friends for so long, with nary a spark of more between them until Bea’s getting jilted by her fiancé, whom she was to marry in a big, televised spectacle. Brody steps up to help Bea fulfill the terms of her contract, and suddenly, they’re each looking at the other in a slightly different light.

Laurel Greer writes Bea and Brody lovingly, from their steady friendship to their uncertainty about their evolving feelings to their vulnerabilities surrounding their pasts, their families, their hearts, their future…. Her gaze is gently unflinching, and their story tender and moving. I look forward to more from this series and from Ms Greer.
