The cage is where I feel most at home. There’s something about the thrill of the fight, of chasing an opponent around the ring that calms those demons inside me.
At least until I found the club.
I’m a patched brother now, no longer a prospect and with that comes responsibilities, loyalty too. For the first time in a long time I have a place in the world, one that doesn’t come with conditions.
The Untamed Sons are my family. Brothers closer than blood, men I would fight and die for. I never expected to want anything outside of that world, until I met her.
Carissa is everything I want and more, but she’s harbouring secrets, ones that put her in danger. Saving her will mean going up against a man I once considered blood too, but there’s no way I’m walking away from her. She’s mine and I’ll do whatever it takes to save her.
Nice but quite short. The story follows Cage, aka Kyle and Carissa. Cage got his nickname by being an amazing cage fighter. Carissa is the doctor who the fighter go to for medical attention. She has no choice in the matter but to be there and after they meet, Cage becomes possessive and protective of her. His care is noticed and makes things worse for the do. And Cage. I would have liked it more if it had been longer.

This is a well written short story with strong characters in Cage and Carissa. They have a sizzling hot chemistry and a strong connection. The author pulls you into the story with all the suspense, danger and romance. Her scenes are painted perfectly and the story moves quickly and smoothly. I loved reading their story and would recommend this book.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
Loved this one and the story of Cage aka Kyle and Carissa. His protectiveness of her I loved. I loved the characters and fell in love with them easily. Loved the way the author wrote her scenes, made things come to life for me. Definitely worth the time to read!!.

This was a short novella back in the London chapter. I didn't realise how much I had missed them all until I was back amongst them. The story may be brief but it packs a punch and will be a good way for new readers to get a glimpse at the brilliance that is this author. As usually deliciously gritty detailing with plot and characters that keep you turning those pages.
3.75stars-CAGE is the ninth instalment in Jessica Ames’ contemporary, adult UNTAMED SONS MC erotic, MC romance series. This is MC member and cage fighter Kyle aka Cage, and physician Carissa’s story line. CAGE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.
NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers.
Told from dual first person perspectives (Kyle and Carissa) CAGE follows the quick building relationship between our story line couple . Kyle is a cage fight who owes a debt to his mentor and trainer but his latest fight requires a post-fight medical check up. Enter Carissa, the woman with whom Kyle will fall in love but all is not well with our story line heroine-the past refuses to let go, threatening everybody she loves. What ensues is the quick building relationship between Kyle and Carissa, and the potential fallout when Carissa is targeted for someone else’s sins.
The world building is limited but focuses on two people who are unable to break free from the past. Carissa is paying a debt owed by someone else, and Kyle continues to pay for what was and what will never be.
The relationship between Kyle and Carissa begins as physician and patient. Carissa is the ‘doctor’ to the fighters but all is not as it appears to be. Kyle is aware that Carissa is keeping secrets, secrets that are about to threaten the woman with whom Kyle is falling in love. The $ex scenes are limited but passionate.
Several of the previous story line characters return in secondary and supporting roles including Levi and Elle, and Titch. We are introduced to Carissa’s brother Brandon, and Kyle’s trainer Hugh.
CAGE is a story of power and control, secrets and lies, betrayal, retribution and vengeance, acceptance and love. The fast paced premise is entertaining and intriguing but I was hoping for a little more back story and details; the romance is provocative; the characters are desperate and charismatic.
We’ve waited for Cage’s (Kyle’s) book since book 1 and while it was a good read, I wanted more, especially since he’s been quietly hanging around every book.
Cage is a fighter and he loves it. It gives him the outlet that he needs to keep the demo as at bay. Falling for the pretty doctor who helps tend to his various wounds was never the plan. Seeing her always makes him feel “funny”..seeing her in the clutches of that ass Hugh, makes him absolutely murderous.
Carissa is a doctor dammit..she shouldn’t have to tend to the wounds of underground fighters, but she has a debt to pay so unfortunately she doesn’t have a choice. When she sees Cage, she’s attracted to his quiet strength..when she finds herself being saved, she’s scared to death that Cage just made her life worse. Can she save her and her brother or will he seal her fate once and for all?
The story was great. Unless there is more coming in some other book, I didn’t get enough information to make this story really pop…more interest ion with brother, Carissa meeting the old ladies, the meeting in church with Cage getting help for Carissa, Hugh and his men in the kill room..I had so many questions left unsaid..of course, the biggest is..will we ever find Cage’s brother..and why has it been so hard to find him?
I’m not sure if there are more stories coming, but I surely hope so.
We met Kyle towards the beginning of the series while he was prospecting for the Untamed Sons MC. He was the quiet, broody, mad at the world kid in the background. He had so many demons he was battling. We learn he was pushed into fighting at 14 years old, and he was one of if not the best in the UK. His trainer Mortimer has been taking advantage of his talents for his monetary gain. Never really caring about Kyle's well-being. He'd been able to ignore that until he meets Carissa, a young doctor who is under Mortimer's claws. He starts getting close to her and is clearly infatuated with her. That's when he makes it his mission to find out what he has on her so that he can help free her. It's so much more complicated than he first imagined, but when her life is in danger, he and his club brothers do everything in their power to make sure she's safe. The more time they spend together the closer they get and their feelings for one another get stronger. I was glad to see Kyle get his own Happily Ever After, especially after everything that they both have endured.
MMC/FMC- Kyle and Carissa POV- 1st person dual Genre- MC Romance Lite Heat- 🌋🌋🌋☄️ (1🌋=2☄️) they do the thing and use the P word whilst naming the parts Series? Y Safety? Y; no cheating or S.A. Triggers- Graphic violence, assault, language, explicit erotic content Tropes- Mob Debt, Damsel in Distress, Instalove, Workplace Romance, My Brother’s Keeper Thoughts- I enjoyed reading this novella. It was fast paced and commanded the attention. I like that the MC is multiracial. The main characters were likable. Carissa was an admirable person in caring for her brother. And although Kyle’s life ans a cage fighter isn’t always on the up and up, his character is noble. The triggers weren’t too difficult to deal with and the book contained no S.A. or cheating. Recommended.

Honestly I thought more would happen, this was one where things seemed to fade to black or everything was just very simple.
Few unanswered questions like did Carissa ever try to find Kyle’s brother like she said ? Who took over for Hugh as the trainer? What happened to the other kids who were fighting, did they get them help after taking out Hugh?
Also I thought it would have made more sense if Carissa ended up being their new doctor while Whizz was in America.
I feel like this could have been such a bigger story but it just fell flat for me, hopefully the Manchester chapter books will be better
Cage is a fighter and his manager is Hugh. Carissa is the doctor that patches Hugh’s fighters up, and she and Cage have been interested in each other but never acted in those feelings until an incident brings them closer together.
While Cage has some past regrets, he realizes it was due to him being conditioned to be a certain way. Still Cage has a fierce protective attitude towards Carissa and pushes his way into her life when he realizes she is in more danger than she lets on. He also has a close bond with his MC brothers and wants to be able to find his own brother, who was separated from him in foster care.
Carissa is strong and independent, looking out for her brother after he has looked out for her most of their life, and doesn’t want anyone else to get entangled in their battle against a debit collector. She has a big heart and principles that she lives by. She also acts rationally.
I wish this book was longer because I adore this couple and want to see more of their interactions. I also want to know more about that they plan for the future. I also want to know more about some of the side characters and MC.

Cage is a member of the Untamed Sons MC and an underground cage fighter. Carissa is a doctor who is forced to work at the cage fights to pay off her brother's debt. There is chemistry between the two and he is determined to protect her. There is sizzle, steam, action, drama, twists, and more. Solid addition to the Untamed Sons MC series and the entire series is available on Kindle Unlimited. Great job, Jessica Ames.

The books in this series are extremely predictable, and often repeat themselves. like in this book, Cage said twice that he never thought about having kids due to his upbringing. (Which led me to assume that he absolutely would be having kids.) there is no sound or feel better than a motorcycle. Man and women meet, woman has drama the man fixes and they live happily ever after.
That being said, I still enjoyed the plot. I read every book in the series and would continue to read more of the authors work.
Both Cage and Carissa are held in the grip of an evil man. Cage has his MC to support him though. Carissa is pretty much alone, protecting her brother who got her locked into this nightmare to begin with. These two are attracted to one another but Carissa is convinced she has no way out. I loved how we saw their relationship evolve. Although written within an established series, this book is a shorter novella about this specific couple and can read as a stand alone. Great HEA.

If you have read the series so far then you know that Cage is a character that is always there and always helps his brothers with whatever the situation is but I have to admit I was so waiting for him to finally get his own book. About time and wow it didn’t disappoint. As we know Cage earned his name by being a fighter and a damn good one. However his trainer is one awful piece of work who deserves to be dealt with because of what he’s done. I can honestly say that while each book has its own bad guy, Hugh gets away far too lightly. He deserves to be punished so much more. This book really got to me and I’m definitely emotionally involved in this one. Brilliant book once again and I can’t wait to see which brother gets his world rocked by a woman.

A quick read back into the Untamed Sons storyline.
I can’t remember Cage or Carissa from other books in the series, but some of the other Untamed Sons make cameos in this one.
Cage (or Kyle) fights other guys in a cage for money. Carissa is in debt to Hugh who also is Kyles trainer.
She patches up his fighters and hopes to be soon rid of him and out of debt. Her brother was a fighter and when he won (instead of losing) Hugh sent guys with hammers and he lost a limb from the damage and uses Carissa to make up for the money Hugh lost.
When Cage steps between Carissa and Hugh one night, it brings Hugh onto their bad side.
I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
Cage is a member of the Untamed Sons MC and is also an underground cage fighter. Carissa is a doctor who has been roped into helping out at the cage matches. That is where her and Cage meet but it isn't until they run into each other outside the fights that things heat up. Carissa and her brother are in trouble with one of the guys that runs the fights and they are trying to pay off a debt. When they come after Carissa, Cage steps in and helps her out. This is a steamy romance, more about cage fighting than the MC lifestyle, but the brothers are there to help out when needed.

Kyle / Cage loves to fight and has found that this calms the demons inside himself, and when he joins the MC he finds a family, and is now a patched member, while Carissa is a doctor who patches up the fighters. These two are attracted to each other, but have never acted on their feelings, until now. This is a well written story which is a quick read, and is raw, gritty, intriguing, with loyalty, family, secrets, danger, suspense, emotions, regrets, conflict, and love, which leads to a riveting page turner. Cage has had his eye on Carissa for a while now. She’s the doctor who patches up the fighters and he has kept his distance until now. She doesn’t know it yet but she is his and he won’t take no for an answer especially when it comes to her safety.
Carissa is struggling. Her brother’s life will never be the same and now she is trying to keep alive. She can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel but Cage can. He’s going to show Carissa what it means to be under the protection of the Untamed Sons.
This is a quicker read in this series but it still packs quite a punch. You’ll fall in love with this stoic man!
I really didn't have any issues with this book to give it a lesser rating, but it wasn't an attention grabber either. It was a good read, if you enjoy the Untamed Sons and MC romances in general. Cage engages in underground fights to earn extra money. There, he meets Ris, who is being pressured to serve as a medical doctor to the fighters to save her brother. The characters were likeable, but the drama was minimum and quickly over.
If you like a good MMA or cage fighters story, Cage aka Kyle is definitely worth a read. Kyle and Carissa have a great story as a doctor who has to patch up the cage fighters after their fight . The characters and their characters were something you quickly fell in love with and you could easily relate to the characters. And the fact that she is protective of her brother, Cage is protective of her and her brother. In short, this is a highly recommended read and very worthwhile.

Cage grew up rough and started cage fighting, hence the nickname. He gets patched into the Untamed Sons MC and feels a sense of belonging for the first time.
Carissa owes some bad guys and is paying it out by doctoring up the cage-match fighters. Cage is drawn to Carissa and steps in as her protector. This was a quick, steamy read. The characters were likable and Cage especially was written well with his possesive, protective manner. Really enjoyable story.

Kyle/Cage is a fighter and one night after a fight his manager, Hugh, calls someone to fix his injuries. It is when he meets Carissa, she shows up to fix his cuts. When Hugh makes a grab for her, Cage jumps in between them. She tells him he should have not done that as it will come back on her. Cage is determined to keep her safe, after all he has his brothers, The Untamed Sons MC to back him up.
This is a steamy read, another brother finding his ole lady, some parts maybe to harsh for some.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is a short read in the Untamed Sons MC world. Cage is a brother and a fighter who lives for his club. Carissa has found herself in a bad situation but she catches his attention. That is one thing that's going right for her. When Cage learns of it he isn't going to back away. Their story is fast paced and full of conflict and heat.

The story and characters, Carissa/Ris and Cage/Kyle, and secondary characters are well written and beautifully developed. The story flowed smoothly and had just right amount of drama, romance, and action. I greatly enjoyed this story and recommend reading it.

Cage is an underground cage fighter while Carissa is the doctor that comes in to patch up the fighters. Cage's protective manner toward Carissa is sweet. His Untamed Sons brothers come together to lend a hand in making sure she and her brother are safe.

The location of England for the MC is different but remarkable. The characters are hard strong but loving to their family. Each new story deals with strong men and women who conquer their demons with strong. Wounded men who protect with their whole hearts and club.
I really enjoyed Cage’s story, but I wished it was longer and there was some conclusion to the whereabouts of his brother, Emil. I also want to know more about Brandon, Carissa’s brother. I’m a complete sucker for the wounded hero trope so I’d love to see him get a story and see him get his independence and HEA. This was shorter than the others in the series, but still a very good read!
This book was so much more than I was expecting. Clarissa met Cage through unfortunate circumstances. She is paying the consequences of her brother's actions. Cage realizes quickly that Clarissa is in need of help, even if she is too stubborn to accept it. For a short story, this book has action, suspense and romance. Not to mention, it leaves readers with several inconclusive side stories that will hopefully become future stories. Don't misunderstand, this book is not a cliffhanger. It just was so good that it leaves you wanting more. Can't wait for what she comes up with next.
