fairly simple instalove stories
This box set of college romance novellas was okay/good imo. Each story was very short - I’m guessing under 2 hours reading for each one. They were interconnected with roommates, friends, and siblings. The h in each story was curvy and a bit shy/insecure but fell under the spell of the H pretty quickly. There was a little angst to each story and the author did a good job of making each angst issue different for each story. The stories were well written and edited. But I couldn’t give it higher than a 3 star rating. The stories were fairly simple and a little formulaic in their own way - which should be expected based on the length. I’m probably a bit biased against them because I’m not a fan of the instalove/instalust trope. A campus player falls in instant love with the plus sized girl and immediately reforms his ways during their first meeting to become the sweet, attentive, thoughtful, protective boyfriend? Not a lot of realism or depth to these stories. If you like the instalove trope though, then I think you will enjoy this boxed set very much.

I know the description says Instalove, but it still caught me off guard, and frankly was a little weird. The couples meet each other once and love each other already! I also didn't realize just how short, "short" really was. I did like how the characters overlapped so that everyone essentially got their happy ending. The stories were like Hallmark movies but the CliffsNotes version. Decent quick reads - I finished in maybe an hour, or a little less.
