She has been writing since she was thirteen years old. She enjoys spending all of her spare time writing, but she absolutely detests editing and proofreading.

This book hit all the feels! From a girl who married her high school sweetheart to being abused by him to leaving to go to a small town and finding her forever. This story was absolutely tear jerking but so worth the read!!
The sweetest small town, a law inforcement hero and an mc with an abusive ex. And a cute little baby! Oh and also over protective sheriff and his awesome book store owner wife! Sums up to my reading cravings all in one!
And all these said 'reading cravings' pretty much give the idea what this story is about. This whole read was likeable, not much wasn't. Our hero Drake was total swoon worthy! He was kind, sweet and well everything that made him swoon worthy. (≧▽≦) Of course he did have a few a little less swoon worthy moments as well. In my opinion, of course. Like when our mc had slight fever later... I didn't feel those gooey feels when he asked her the favor. Don't know why but that just didn't sit right with me. You know with him being all that diabetes inducingly sweet, that scene just worked as high dose of insulin.
But still he was the sweetest!
Then there was Chase! And Meredith! This town sure was full of warm hearted people left and right. When I started reading I totally mistook Chase as our hero, he was that awesome! And then he mentioned his wife and confused me with all the wife not being wife later in story conflict. But then later Drake was mentioned and tada *my mind senario* a marriage was saved(Chase and Meredith'). Because I was absolutely convinced on Chase being our hero. Imao.
And our mc Amber was such a sweetheart. This town was just what she and Killian needed.
I'm a stickler for too too many details so it would've been even better if those were there but it was still enjoyable even without more details.
This was my first read by Ms. Thomas. I must say her writing style was enjoyable.
If the above mentioned tropes sail your boat go right ahead and have fun reading this book!

𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐲 𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠: 𝐍𝐨 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐞 🌶 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠: 𝟑/𝟓⭐️ ~ I started this book at almost 11pm last night. It was very fast-paced and insta-lovey more so from the MMC. I mostly enjoyed it and it was a very quick read. ‼️Trigger Warning: This book does have mentions of DV. ~
It follows Amber who runs out of gas in a small-town after escaping her abusive husband, newly pregnant and divorced.
Drake is one of the officers that works in that small-town who instantly takes a liking to Amber and her little boy months after her arrival. Drake makes it his sole mission to help Amber and her son as much as possible and show her that even having a rough past that she and her baby is deserving of love and protection.
With Amber’s history of DV from her ex-husband, she finds it very difficult to trust him or even anyone for that matter. But with Drake’s actions and eagerness to help take care of her son and take the stress away from her, she quickly realizes that Drake is one of a kind and to her, too good to be true. ~
The only thing I really didn’t enjoy about this book was Drake’s constant nicknames for Amber coming out every time he spoke to her. “Sweetheart” this and “Sweet girl” that. Like literally it was almost every sentence. It got really annoying really quick. Other than that, I enjoyed the plot and the ending was really heartwarming and sweet.
Drake is the perfect guy for Amber! After the hell her ex put her through, Fate was kind enough to bring Drake into her life. When Drake first meets Amber, she is an overwhelmed single mom just trying to make a life with her newborn as far away from her old life as possible. She is afraid all the time, always checking over her shoulder and wary of strangers. Yet, somehow her head and heart let her know that she is safe with Drake. His kindness, compassion and willingness to take things slow is just what she needs. Of course the easy way he has with her infant son makes trusting him even easier and sparks something deep within her. Amber finally believes she is in the right place. The few townspeople have rallied around her and her son, helping when necessary and they along with Drake are making her feel safe and part of a family. Is her ex really out of her life forever? Can Amber let go of her past and embrace a future with Drake?

This book delivered on all levels. It had great characters, was well written with a good plot and with suspense and romance. I loved the small town and community that welcomed and took Amber in as their own. There were a lot of sweet and heart felt moments. A really great book!.

This book is so good. It has everything you need...emotions,suspense and a happy ending. What more do you need. This sweet story takes you by your emotions and ends in your heart. Wonderful book by a great writer.
I enjoyed this book. It was about a woman recovering and escaping a bad relationship. And how she managed with a stand up guy entering it. It was a hard subject but I felt it was well written.

Was it a cute, short book? Yes. Do I wish it was longer so the plot didn’t feel rushed? Yes. This book could’ve been much more of an interesting read had it been longer and there was more of a story line. Instead it was the typical “fantasy love story” in a few short pages.
The book had a ton of potential and could’ve been really good but the plot Moved to fast and the characters where under Developed. If the book was longer it would’ve been a solid 4
11/30 I liked it. I enjoyed reading it. One thing I would change, though is the beginning. I kinda wish there was a few more moments in there before he started a really show interest just to kind of build up his liking towards her I guess and then maybe the end was a bit slower too but at the same time, it’s an under 100 page book, so I get it I mean you can’t have everything in it, other than those two little things I really enjoyed it for how long it was
This was a fluffy romance. No smut, just pure cozy fluffy marshmallow romance. I couldn’t stop reading! There was a bit angst and I did wish the “action” of her ex coming back didn’t end so fast, there could’ve been more depth to it, but overall I loved how this found family type of story came out!.
