My brother has become a monster, and I want to save him.
I’ve never seen anything like the nightmare my brother has created. If it were anyone else, I know what I would do. But with him?
How can I kill the last person I love?
Max and Braxton are Enforcers. In so many ways, my enemies. But these two sexy shifters, for some reason, want to protect me. They seem to understand me. And after a passionate moment together, I think we’ve become more than just partners.
But if it comes down to choosing them over my brother, I’m not sure I can do it.
The problem is that I don’t know if I’ll have a choice.
WOLF LAWS is the second book in the exciting Revenge of the Blood Pack series. These books are steamy reverse harem romances where our heroine doesn’t have to choose between her men. (Also, note that the preorder will likely be moved up.)

Wow. This one was amazing. I love how there relationships develop. And the crazy shit she has to go through with her pack. Can't wait to see what happens next.
Love this. Asha is amazing. Loved learning more about the brothers. Twists and turns that will leave you going yes, need more. Lacey knows how to pull you into her world and you feel like you are right there with them
It feels a little like it’s been forever since I was last immersed in the plight of the Blood Pack. But, it didn’t take long for their story to burst into full color in my imagination once again. My heart broke for Asha for everything she thought she needed to atone for. Really, for the guys as well, because they’re each carrying around their own shares of undeserved guilt. I loved getting this chance to get to know Max, Braxton, and Orson, and how this little team fit together. However, where this book leaves us has me wanting to break fragile things and positively rabid to find out what will happen next. I received a complimentary advance copy of this book from the author.
Wolf Laws is the second book by Lacey Carter Anderson in her Revenge of the Blood Pack series. Asha is back with Braxton and Max on the hunt for the creature that once was her brother, Simon. Asha has a hard choice ahead of her, and one that in the beginning she’s not ready to make. However, her choices will become more and more limited as the creature Simon has become shows that there is little of him truly left. Book two picks up where book one left off, and get ready for steamy times, tons of drama, and a new addition to the team. The dynamics are shifting between Asha and her men. Some of it turns out to be really good. Honestly though I could have done without some of Braxton’s caveman behavior. I was surprised that it didn’t come more from Max, but I love how laid back the new guy is. The flow of this book is pretty well done. The author is going to keep you engaged in the story from beginning to end. You’ll get some tragedy, but you’ll also be given several glimmers of hope. The end of this book is a mild cliffhanger. You’ll be left curious as to what happens next, but nothing that will leave you hanging on the edge screaming into the void. LOL! 4.5 out of 5 stars
Overall, the story just got weirder and more awkward as it progressed. The FMC never did what she should have (which was somewhat understandable given all she went through).
The story tried to mix themes of mental healing, revenge, and everything else, but never quite managed to do it cohesively. It felt disjointed and out of place, though very subtly, so it seemed like it was going somewhere, but ultimately didn't.
So, I'll just leave it at that. Because I wouldn't categorize it as a bad book, just not for me.
This series is concentrated into the task plot and the romance. Making it a easy series to get through. No side characters to know. Just the main ones and a dog.
We learn more about what happened and why Asha blames herself. We deal with the additional Orson and new feelings in a complex relationship with the twins Max and Braxson.
Spice: 3/5 - a fair amount of spice that’s not overly written and not so much that makes this a XXX story. Perfect amount for length of this book IMO.
This was another short book, but so much packed into it. An additional member added to their group, fights with each other and facing down a major foe. I read this entire book in one sitting and am desperate for the next book!
This series has been a so deep with the MFCs survivors guilt and desire to save her pack. It’s painful to read about her memories of the trauma as well as the guys. I just wanna wrap them in bubble wrap, stick them in front of a therapist and let them have a HEA without having to fight the battles coming for them. But watching them SLOWLY heal together and find some love has made my heart so happy. These are short books, but I’m so attached to these characters. I can’t wait to find the ending of this series, but I’m not wanting it to end.
I'm trying to get into this series, but I find myself bored at times. The plot has potential, but its moving so slowly that I start skimming occasionally to get somewhere. I wasn't able to review the first book for some reason, but it seems like Asha is all over the place emotionally and we don't get her full back story until this book. But now that I have it I'm a bit confused as to why she's still clinging to her ideal of saving all her pack members who were turned into creatures. I can appreciate making the attempt before ending them. But, in Simon's case, I didn't fully understand her reasoning for not using the silver magic, even if it killed him, or just ending him. I can appreciate not wanting to kill your brother, but at what cost? He's killed whole towns of people. How many deaths are ok as long as you don't have to kill your brother? I couldn't agree with her on that whole thing. Most of the pack members who were turned into creatures did bad things. Is Asha saying it's ok because of what happened to them? If they aren't save able, how many people is she willing to let die before realizing that they can't be saved? One thing that has bothered me about the harem relationships is that they have weird progression. She's been with Max in a work capacity for awhile. Yes, she's attracted to him, but he's the enemy, so there's been nothing romantic. Then , Braxton enters the picture. She's instantly attracted to him. Then, the next thing you know is that they're having a threesome at a jobsite. It was just weird. No build up. No romance. Just bam! This awkward jobsite is the place to get intimate with both guys. In this book Orson comes into the picture. Again, instant attraction, but no action on it. Max and Braxton warn him off her because she's theirs. Then, right after a horrible scene, they're at the hotel and all of a sudden Max and Braxton want to know if she's attracted to Orson. She is and they all decide their mates. So Orson is intimate with her and now everyone is all good. Again, just really weird progression of the relationships.
I have to be honest that I'm not really a fan of Asha. I get that she has trauma and guilt. She just has a weird way of treating people who are her link to fixing things. She's rude, angry, selfish, and inconsiderate. She doesn't want to trust anyone, but her lack of trust is making everything worse.
We'll see where book 3 will lead. Hopefully the story starts moving better so it's not so boring.
Revenge of the Blood Pack is back with the series' second book, Wolf Laws. There were new faces, old foes, and problems galore, a quick read that I enjoyed.
"Everything's a mess. It's carnage", I can't remember where I heard that quote from but it's appropriate for this book in more ways than one.
Asha, Max, and Braxton have a relationship and it's a mess. Max and Braxton have feelings for Asha, their time together meant something but they don't know how she feels and haven't communicated with her at all. Asha doesn't know what she feels, she has a one-track mind that's focused on saving her pack. She feels something for them but it's not a priority, which I understand.
Also, there's a new guy who joined the team and I'm in love. Orson with his calm, wit, and intuitiveness has gotten past Asha's defenses pretty easily, there is most definitely a spark between the two. I like him, a lot. He has a troubled past but that doesn’t define him, he has the positive and grateful air about him. Orson also worked his magic on the twins, somehow managing to make the guys friendlier towards him.
However, issues arise in the group. Asha, in her guilt, is driven to do anything to rescue her pack members and after revealing everything about her past, about what happened to her pack I can understand why. However, I don't agree with her lying to the guys, she should talk to Max and Brax and figure things out. Asha's past isn't the only one to come out my heart breaks over how the army treated Braxton and the reason why he was discharged. Then add in Simon (something isn't right there), the ongoing attacks, and the missing Blood Pack members it's a lot.
Wolf Laws was a good read. Secrets are out and Asha and the guys worked some things so that's better. The big bad had a few reveals and I worry for Asha, she's gonna have to face her demons sooner or later. Speaking of problems, I just know the Enforcers are gonna become an issue at some point, I just don't when. Wolf Laws was a speedy but entertaining read, I look forward to seeing where the story goes next.
The craziness continues in this book, and we are not withheld much! We get answers we questioned from book one and wow. It's really a roller-coaster of emotions for Asha and I feel for her. Finally finding her brother and realizing she may not be able to save him is heart wrenching enough. Then when her secret comes out on why the Blood Pack being attacked was on her...it just aches for your soul.
She is the kind of person that will do absolutely anything for the ones she feels responsible for. So, when the lines are blurred with Max and Braxton and she realizes she's starting to feel more for them, will she tell them what she is truly on course to do? Will they side with her or the enforcers? When we meet Orson in this book, we can tell right away their connection is instantaneous. Suddenly, Max and Braxton are feeling in over their heads and feel like Asha might be their mate. But she's a Halfbreed. Is that even possible?
When they find themselves with a lead that heads them in the direction of the Pack that betrayed them from the start, Asha finally gets some good news! At least 50 people from Blood Pack are found and Asha is willing to risk it all to keep them safe. Only in order to do this, she needs to face her brother and possibly end him for good. Will she have what it takes to be the savior they all need?
I am really loving this series! Asha is a fighter, and this experience has made her shine. I ache that this entire situation rests on her hands, but she is willing to do absolutely anything she can to save who she can. The showdown between her and her brother is coming and I really how somehow, she will be able to save him! The steam between her and the guys is building, and I hope they all get their HEA after! I can't wait to see how this continues.
*Overall 5/5 *Heat? 5/5 *Fast Burn *Multiple first person POV *MFMM Romance *Ends on cliffhanger
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "WOLF LAWS" This was an interesting, intriguing, entertaining, riviting, intense, wild rollercoaster ride, full of emotional turmoil, indecisions, angst, revenge, lies, secrets, deceit, betrayal, regret, steam, twists that has you on the edge of your seat to the end. Asha feels guilty she let her brother Simon go after hurting Max & Braxton he manipulated her into thinking as she pulled the dark sludge from his body she wasn't saving him but killing him she just hoped Braxton didn't see her do it. Max & his twin brother Braxton were Enforcers who became involved with Asha they thinks she their mate but they don't know how she feels their kind of a mess she's wanting to save her Blood Pack, find her brother to stop his killing. Orson is a new hire for the Enforcers on Max's team he was in prison for murder, he's quite the funny character I really like him but he sets Braxton off & Max tells him Asha is off limits but since the first time he saw her they had an attraction up one another making things a little dicey. I definitely recommend to get this intense reverse harem paranormal romance Max, Braxton, Asha & Orson take you quite the adventure, when secrets get revealed they work together to tract her brother Simon down before he does more killings & destruction, he's beyond being saved Asha realizes now, will they catch him in time before he destroys the rest of her Blood Pack it's a must read you don't want to miss. I'm so looking forward to "MOON OATH" to see what happens next after that cliffhanger. EXCELLENT REVERSE HAREM ROMANCE 🖤🖤🖤
Wolf Laws is the 2nd book in the Revenge of the Blood Pack series, and continues the story of Asha and the two smoldering, shifter Enforcer brothers that make up their team - Max & Braxton. Asha’s PTSD and traumas are pushing her into simultaneously wanting to fight against and run from the darkness and evil that’s threatening their world - as well as the feelings she’s developing for Max and Braxton. She’s not sure she can trust herself, let alone the guys. Things get even more complicated with the newly-formed team trio when a third man is assigned to their crew.
With all four of the members of the team dealing with their own traumatic pasts and issues, trust and communication are definitely not ranked among any of their skills or strong suits. Unfortunately, the threat they’re facing continues to get stronger and more dangerous, and it’s not waiting for the team to work through their individual or interpersonal struggles. Asha and the guys are going to need to figure out exactly how to work together and trust each other in order for them to overcome what’s on its way.
Despite their fragile bonds, we do get some progress (and some steam!) in their relationships, but I appreciate that it’s happening at a pace that fits the story and the characters’ personalities.
We also get a bit more info on the backstories of Asha and the guys, as well as Asha’s old pack. I’m very curious to see what’s going on in her old town since she’s been away!
This is book 2 of the series and carries on from book 1 and we do also get a cliffhanger so the story will continue into book 3.
Asha, Max and Braxton continue their hunt for the blood Mages, and Asha is still trying to help her old pack mates.
We get to see these guys bonding more in this book, there are still some trust issues but they are starting to get along better and have more trust than before. There is also a new team member, Orsen, who is not as dark, brooding or angry as the twins. He was a great mix to throw into the team, he's also a tech expert so helps with the search.
Asha continues to be determined to help her old pack. With Orsen's help, they manage to track the darkness in the hope of destroying it, but Asha now has to face that it's her brother who's causing the destruction.
They are now a great team, working together and trusting each other so much more. I'm looking forward to the next book to see where the story goes.
The much-awaited sequel in the Blood Pack series doesn't disappoint! Finishing the entire book in a single sitting left me craving for more. The novel continues its intense journey, weaving through emotional turmoil, hidden truths, and unexpected twists that will keep you engaged until the final page. Asha's unyielding commitment to her loved ones drives her actions, though the painful reality of her brother's situation weighs heavily on her.
Amidst the evolving bond between Asha, Max, and Braxton, the addition of computer whiz Orson adds another layer of complexity. His humor brings a much-needed lightness to the group dynamic. I adore Orson -- he's definitely my favorite! The steamy scenes were *chefs kiss* and definitely 5/5 spice!
The story escalates towards a gripping showdown, with Asha's brother provoking her. I'm eager to see if Asha can resist succumbing to the darkness that ensnared her brother. The impending confrontation keeps me on the edge of my seat, hoping she can save him while grappling with the burden of such a decision.
Asha feels an immediate attraction to Orson's a computer genius that has been added to the team to help find, the monster that is destroying towns and killing all the individuals by using black magic. Max and Braxton are immediately jealous of her attraction to Orson but they all come to realize that possible they are a pack and Asha is their possible mate. Asha feels wonderful with the 3 men, and they realize they are stronger together. However Asha is torn as she does not want to take down Simon her brother. When she had the chance Asha could not do it. He is her brother! But as the team tracts him and She sees what he has become. She knows that she must try and take him down. However in the mean time Simon seems to be teasing her to come to him for a final show down. As the story ends with a note telling her to met him. I can't wait to see if Asha has the strength to fight the black magic and not become like Simon. The question is can she kill her own brother?
I'm actually literally biting my nails trying to figure out what's going to happen next!
This book continues with Asha, Max, Braxton and Trouble(love that name for a dog!) fighting off Asha's brother Simon. She realizes she has some new silver power that seems to take the sludge off him but makes him hurt. After he injures Max and Brax, she let's him go to help them. They get a new member to their team, Orson, who is a computer genius who figures out a way to track her brothers movements. Initially, Max and Brax hate Orson until Asha realizes she's bonded to all three of them. Then they are able to figure out a way to take her brother down and not die.
The ending was nail biting (as i mentioned) and i can't wait to see what happens next!
I received a free copy of this book via the author and am voluntarily leaving a review.
The second book for the Blood Pack has arrived. It has been a bit since book one so it took a moment to catch back up but I am so glad to get more of them. Asha just wants to find and save her pack that was attacked and destroyed. But what she finds may be what pushes her to allow the darkness within her to take over. She is a shifter, vampire and blood mage. But she seems to be so much more than that. She has two males that may be the beginning of her own pack but trust in them and herself is hard to gain. We do get a new male added to their group. He may be a nerd but he definitely is a handsome one. The story will have fighting that leaves a trail of death behind it. Can this group stop the evil before more are killed? And the heat level does get hotter and hotter. Definitely can’t wait for book three.
This series got off to a great start and this second book did not disappoint. Still loving Asha - she has stayed true to character and is evolving in a way that still keeps her strong while also showing many vulnerable and broken moments. She has been a great female lead and has never lost sight of her mission regardless of anything including love, loss, and small successes that have come her way.
I wasn't too crazy about Max, but he has grown on me and I'm glad he has Braxton there to reel him in and keep readers from hating him again. Orson is the perfect addition to the group & it is good that he joined the team later because if not he probably would be the clear favorite in the group. He's that sweet type until you hurt someone he loves so I wonder if we will see that side of him in the next book.
I loved the first book but this one drew me in even more!
I loved how venerable Asha was at moments in this book and how the guys all rallied around her! It's really sweet to read and at complete contrast with the actual plot of the book.
The story line has me absolutely captivated - I don't know how to explain without giving spoilers - but it really fits with all the characters!
This book is so well balanced with the romance and the plot and the sweetness with the steam, nothing overtakes or feels out of place!
I really enjoyed the new addition to guys in this book, it changed the dynamics! I am waiting to see in the next book if there are any more changes and how everything resolves itself.
Continuing from book 1 Asha is torn. She knows she should end her brother but can't bring herself to do it as she believes she can bring him back from the darkness. Meanwhile her relationship with Braxton and Max deepens and another shifter Orson is brought onto the team which causes jealousy and possessiveness when it becomes clear that there is also an attraction between Asher and Orson. I loved the pace of this book and how we find out why Asher and her old pack blame her for them being captured by the Blood Mages in the first place. Secrets are kept and others revealed, we find out a lot more about the individual characters, their back stories and how that impacts on how they are now. I am waiting with anticipation for the next book I have a feeling it's going to be a cracker!
Well this book has Asha, Max and Braxton following more and more clues to the blood mage that is destroying so many lives. Enter Orson, who brings more tension to the already tense relationships that are developing between them The spice heats up in this book, and as Asha comes to terms with being able to trust her men, and let her emotions go, they become the team they were meant to be. I love how the stoic Max can't deny her anything, or how the Braxton will do anything to keep her safe and how Orson just seems to be able to bide his time until he can take that next step to be an intimate member of their team. A nice cliff-hanger at the end - can Asha save her brother Simon? Can't wait to read the next book to find out!
Asha's story continues in the second book, when the team set on a mission expands by a new member. And Orson isn't just a tech whiz and a mystery, but also a complication, considering his obvious attraction to Asha (and vice versa). The violence escalates in this book, and Asha is forced to face the truth about Simon, though there is at least a spark of hope when it comes to her pack. Defeating the evil won't be easy though.. Fast and action-packed read with many twists and some heated moments that spice up all the darkness in the story. I totally don't envy Asha for the position she is in and the weight of the burden she carries, yet she is a strong fighter despite panic attacks and moments of weakness, as plenty others would crumble underneath such onslaught of violence, guilt, and bad luck. Let's see where the next steps will lead us.
This is the second book in the series and it does not disappoint what so ever. There's twists and turns and hidden truths and emotional turmoils. Asha Braxton and Max and the new member Orsen the tech wix/nerd. The final battle is on the horizon. Will they defeat Simon or will there be some glimmer of hope for Simon? This is all so emotional. The bonds growing between them all is beautiful there getting along better now and trusting more. Orsen throws a different mix between the twins relationship between Asha and them. I love how determined Asha is. Some secrets are revealed but there's still some left in the dark. I can't wait for the next book to read what happens next with the pack and Simon.
Wolf Laws: A Paranormal Reverse Harem Romance by Lacey Carter Andersen and the second book in the Revenge of the Blood Pack series, was another riveting addition to this series that will pull you right in and absorb all your attention till the very end!
In this second installment, Asha and her men are still dealing with the aftermath of a run in with her brother and hot on his trail. Tensions are high as a new team member is added to the team, new connections are made and burning hot secrets are slowly discovered. Can this new team work together to bring Ashas brother down or will everything be lost for good?
Overall if you love a good steamy paranormal read with lots of action, hot chemistry, magic and family issues then this is the one for you!
I love the continuation of their story, these are amazing characters and seeing their fight not ending just YET. But we got a new member to this amazing group, Orsen, and I loved his character! Their bonds are so much fun to see grow over the book, and to see them trust and get along better too.
Book 2 definitely takes us on a wild ride, Asha, ugh my heart breaks for what she goes through. She has a lot of guilt that her guys try and help her through. What I really liked was that we can see the backstory between her and the guys, which was a great addition. We've also got some secrets revealed, but we still don't have all of the answers just yet. I have a feeling that well be kept in the dark until the final moments of the next book!
This is the second book in this series and it starts off with an intense scene! ( you cannot read this one without reading the first book!) Asha is trying to save her brother who is now something or someone else. Things are getting difficult and complicated, but during this we also get to see growth in the characters , both individually and within the relationship between Asha, Brax and Max and maybe more? The story is packed full of action, drama, mystery and spice! I find this authors stories move at a quick pace, but it's never too much, everything always flows well and is easy to follow along. The story itself is intriguing and keeps you engaged and is overall a very entertaining and enjoyable read!
I am fairly new to this author, and I was excited about this series. This is the second book, and poor Asha is dealing with a lot. Added to that is a new team member messing with the dynamics of the three of them. This latest is a clearing-the-air type book while they all are on the hunt for their enemy. This is steaming hot in places, and it’s not the weather! I love how all of Asha’s men are different in their own ways and aren’t carbon copies of each other. This is a very good installment to the series, and those who loved the first one will love this one. Recommend. I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.
Such a great continuation to book 1. Have you ever cared for someone so deeply that you would do anything for them or to protect them? That’s where Asha is stuck. She has so much guilt about things that happened and we get to find out why in this book. While she is attached to the men she hasn’t trusted everything with them and holds her cards close to her. Enter a new member to the team and now the secrets are tenfold. Can she learn to trust these men? Can she put an end to the destruction her brother is causing? Can she not lose her soul to the dark? Want to find out….then grab these books and start reading.
The book draws you in immediately and doesn't let go. Asha and her guys are still on the trail of her brother, as secret she is still holding close to her chest. But as his depravity grows, it's becoming clear that it's not something she can keep from them any longer as the danger to them all grows. Just when you thought the chemistry between the three of them couldn't get any hotter, a new member joins their ranks and four is way hotter than three! This book was action packed and relationship building between Asha and her men is getting hotter by the day. I loved this book and am excited to see what happens in the next.
Picks up from the events of book 1! Loved this, fast paced and full of action, drama and spice. I couldn’t put this down and completed it in less than a day.
Asha remains conflicted about loyalty to her pack and the men she’s working closely with. I enjoyed watching her relationship with Max and Braxton develop further.so many emotions for they’ve all had to endure growing up. There are some interesting developments in their relationship too which I won’t disclose but you’ll need to read.
Can’t wait to see what happens next
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
