I'd thought my time had passed, that I wasn't a strong enough alpha to be given a mate, not overly dominant, not massive and bulky, but here she was, my beautiful miracle.

I've been really into MF omegaverse lately (which are apparently hard to find), so I was excited when I stumbled upon this series. This story was a high smut/low plot first book in the series, but I'm hopeful subsequent books have more danger, angst, and conflict surrounding the two MCs. Overall, this was a quick smutty read with dark promise for the rest of the series🖤

A wonderful introduction to a protector alpha MC romance series

Mercedes, a receptionist, is on her way to the bus stop when she realizes she is being followed and takes the drastic measure of jumping into traffic right in front of Winner, an Alpha Knight MC member, in an attempt to get away from her attacker. As the story progresses her biology betrays her, he tries to save her, and when everything settles he has the possibility to stay with her. Winner was a wonderful introduction to a protector alpha MC romance series. These MC members radiate strong Alpha protector vibes, but aren’t afraid to get their hands bloody to maintain that safety. Reader discretion advised due to dark subject matter and/or possible triggers.

Spicy! Back facts: this is a prequel to get you into the Alpha Knights, you have two types of people in this world Alphas (made for breeding) and betas. While its not explained why people are divided or even how its just is it explains the craziness of alpha males taking women for breeding.

Mercedes (Mercy) alone walking home on a dark night has a strange feeling she's being followed. As she tries to loose the person and make it to the bus stop away from him. Unfortunately he is hot on her tail claiming shes an Alpha and hes going to breed with her. Freaking out wanting nothing more than to get away from him she goes into traffic hoping someone will help get her safe. That's where she meets two Alpha Knight MC's as she freaks out thinking more Alphas going to force her to breed they take a different approach, one goes after the stalker and the other Winner comforts her. While he reinforces her safety he is hit with this urge to make her his.

Realizing Mercy is a true Alpha his mate he will stop at nothing to keep her safe through the "heat" she is going through. He brings her all of her craving foods and sheets to make a nest and then proceeds to please her in everyway possible.

Way too short. it’s 54 pages long, so everything is crammed into a short book.

I liked the beginning of the book, as Mercedes is walking home and she’s attacked. As her attacker tells her she’s an omega in heat and he plans to r*pe her. Mercedes doesn’t realise she’s in heat, as she thought she was a beta, so when she’s sweating she thinks she’s poorly. When she’s saved by a biker who then turns out to be her mate, the rest of the book is basically s*x, s*x and yet more s*x. There’s no explanation about any of it, the alphas, omegas and the betas. We’re just supposed to guess. Winner (Her mate.) is part of an Mc, and…………..????????????

I didn’t hate it but it’s way too short. I wouldn’t have got it if I had realised how short it is. In fairness it’s supposed to be 70 pages, not 54!!!

Steamy is an understatement

Loved the world building and how the MMC and FMC seem like they are meant for each other. He is fierce and romantic in the way she needs making it very believable. The two of them make a complete character and I could not imagine one without the other. Great story and I can't wait to read the rest if the series.

This is Winner and Mercy's story. I lovebthat they fit each other so perfectly, both with emotional baggage but hopeful for love and affection. There was a bit of action and suspense and lots of steam!!

This prequel does not disappoint!
Extremely well written and I love the fact that the omega in this story is a in her 30s and the alpha knows that after giving up he can fully cherish his mate.

Loving this world and these standalone book. This one was a novella so a really fast read. Still I really enjoyed it and I wish there was more. Maybe it will be more flushed out later? Since “yuri” could be a problem for these characters. Still a great read.
