I’m loved the world over. Famous beyond my wildest dreams. I have everything I could ever dream of and more.
So why do I feel so trapped?
As the face of my agency, I have no choice but to put on a show. It’s hard getting out of bed most days.
But then my prayers are finally answered when I meet Pack Steel. They want me to become their omega, and I just happen to be exactly what they’re looking for.
There’s just one teeny, tiny problem. They already have an omega...
So why on earth do they need me?
Colt, Gabriel, Elliot, Wade, and Bryce are serious eye candy, but I can’t allow myself to get close. After all, I’m only their omega on paper.
They don’t love me. They never will. And I’m perfectly content with that.
Besides, who needs a pack anyway?
Certainly knot me.
Knot for Hire is a captivating omegaverse standalone that will take you on an emotional roller coaster from start to finish. So some scenes may be triggering for some readers. There are references to past abuse, too. Also, this book contains MM and MMFM.
Violet Fox is a lover of foxes and the colour purple...
When she's not writing about werewolves, vampires, and faeries, she can be found watching cute fox videos online, or drinking a ridiculous amount of tea and cof
DNF at 62% although I contemplated it several times throughout the book. The writing seemed superficial and I didn’t connect with the characters, it would improve with an edit.
Her age was stated as 23 then 24 a few pages later, and there were spelling mistakes such as dying instead of dyeing her hair and their vs there.
This book was like a bad relationship with red flags but I kept reading for too long. Spelling and grammar mistakes so obvious it’s ridiculous. The story itself is full of holes. For example Gabriel and Colt have been to get her for 6 months or since they were teens? The fmc is that self absorbed popular girl in high school who keeps talking about her looks. The book is repetitive, some statements are repeated over and over word for word. There is a juvenile approach to story telling that is more telling and no showing. I have read the other two books in the series and they were not this bad. It’s a scam of a book.
Dog sh*t. Grammar was poor, spelling was poor, characters and plot were weak, everything about this book sucked. Also, all the paid people in the reviews? I'm gagging.
Knot for Hire was a cute and sweet omegaverse read. It is the last book in the interconnected series of standalones in the Knot That Kind of Girl series. It ties up all the loose ends unraveled throughout the three books. I found it to be the best book out of the three.
It is a low-angst read. Even though the FMC Lark has been hired to pose as the omega for a pack that already has one, the pack treats her kindly and with respect (except for the one alpha, who is generally just a moody jerk to her). They have a no-s3x clause in her contract that goes out the window almost immediately since moving into the pack house has thrown her into pre-heat. But s3x does not mean she gets a pack.
She is easy to love, but I would have liked more character development for her and the guys. They felt a bit one-dimensional. The relationships could have been fleshed out a bit more, too. However, I still enjoyed their interactions. The physical attraction was undeniable and made for some deliciously steamy moments.
There is some MM – the original omega and one of the alphas are in an established relationship before Lark is brought into the pack.
Knot for Hire ends in a very satisfying HEA for all. I recommend it to those who like sweeter omegaverse, where the alphas adore their omegas.
i’ve read this over a week ago and forgot to add it and i do not remember much about it. I feel like that explains a lot. It was cute at times and ott dramatic at other times. I did not connect to any of the characters. Not my fav but also did not hate it. It was just ok.
DNF @23% This book has zero substance. If you’re only reading for spice alone, maybe it has some of that later on, but I have to have decent writing to go along with that and this is NOT that. The number of times “I”, “me”, and “perfect” were said, was driving me nuts. The first 9 chapters were a bunch of contradictions and things without explanation. Not to mention, the characters seemed like the author tried to rip off Pack Darling.
This story was enjoyable. I think I was expecting there to be more conflict between the omega and the pack, which there really wasn’t. The threat at the end was quite sudden and I felt like the potential danger could have been foreshadowed a bit more. The characters themselves were cool and it was great to see the series conclude.
This is a book about omegas in love with a couple knots on the side to keep things interesting. As an omega/omega romance stan, it was great. I loved Lark. She was too funny. Her dead pan humor and high class persona won me over. For her, a knot is cool but it’s not the end all be all. Connection is everything.
This was the best insta love. Hilarious. Her and Gabriel have an instant connection neither one denies. They’re both so googly eyed for each other, it was too cute. I loved how after just meeting him she started calling him “my perfect omega.” 😂 I know there were other males in the pack and I felt the author did a okay job of our girl making rounds but it just didn’t compare to her obsession with Gabriel. It’s like when she would mention them all she would include dramatic, flowery details about the perfection that is Gabe.😂 It was so funny to read because she would be like “yea he’s everything I’ve been missing and want in life” and then add on “the others too.” 😭 She was so protective of him. Omegas in love is the cutest thing. I did like the other guys but I feel like Colt and maybe Bryce were the only ones needed for the story. This was a cute read.
Girl 😃😃 what in the world was this. This book was so messy omg. There was so much spelling mistakes I thought I was having a stroke for a moment there. Also the characters in this . Literally my eye was twitching for most of the book. First of all lark is so wishy washy?? Well all of them were but damn! Girl have some backbone at least! They need you not the other way around! Well I guess she did want a pack but fucking make them work for it a bit. Colt that mf. I hated him to bonesss man. Like just shut upppp. You were the one whos gotten into this mess and you were acting like that??? Gabe was aight but like ?? If anything those 2 werent even needed in this bitch. And they couldve just gone to therapy like?? The plot was so sudden too?? Like it was going okay but then boom love confessions here and there like it was a fucking bomb. The pacing was.. yikes. The other mls were okay but it just felt like they were too plain? If that made sense. It also got way to fucking cringey towards the end. I had to take pauses but i pushed through. 2.5 stars?? Or 2 idfk
Plot? Never heard of her. From cover to cover this book was about a fmc who was willing to use sex to get a man…and not in the sex positive way. There was no genuine connection created at all. This book was purely and omega sleeping her way into a pack.
Jumpy and fast to the point that the relationship developments didn't make sense to me, I wouldn't read this one again. Gabriel was the only character who was interesting to me, but even then I just forced myself through the story.
I got about 20% through this book and had to DNF it. I was not clicking with the characters and it felt like Lark was very superficial and I just couldn’t read it.
Is it the best from her line up? No, but it was enjoyable and I have read more recent works by this author and I can see she has grown a lot in the years since this was written so don't let that stop you.
Personally, even though this is a trilogy of standalones, I recommend reading the others before this. Without it, you may find some of the characters (yes, Colt) to be a little surface level and the 'plot' at the end to be kind of out of the blue as there wasn't any foreshadowing throughout the book. I did like the fact that the two omegas held didn't just cower though, they took things into their own hands.
A lot of the world building of this triology, I'm assuming, was written into the other books (most likely the first) and not re-established in each to be a true standalone so I do wish we had gotten to learn more about Colt rather than just he was kidnapped and turned into a child assassin.
That said, without going to deep into it their relationships were fun, although a little spoilt (lol, the fmc calls them trust babies...she isn't wrong)
I did find the overuse of conjunctions to be a little...frustrating not going to lie (they were mostly used to add thoughts to something happening rather than a new sentence and it just didn't blend well) but again, I have read later works and I don't recall this being present so I think it was just her writing style at the time.

I couldn't really like the FMC. The only thing she spoke about was s3x and how much she craved kn0ts. Her actions were impulsive and stupid most of the time. The MMCs weren't much better. Colt and his alcohol abuse were abhorrent. No one really suddenly recovers from alcoholism, because they found the love of their life. Alcoholism is an addiction, if it was that easy to recover from it, half the addicts wouldn't lose their families. Also Colt never apologized for his behavior, never did anything to gain the FMC's trust or respect. The rest of the pack behaved like frat boys (as they described it themselves). They never changed during the story, didn't do anything to become a better person. Gabriel was kind and nice, but I felt sorry for him that the pack ignored him all the time. The pack never felt like a family or a friendship or partnership. It felt like six people living together in a house as roommates. They didn't talk to each other about difficulties. Didn't share their feelings. Elliot even encouraged Colt's drinking, even though he knew he is an addict. It was disturbing to read.
In the end eveything was forgiven, because the guys are handsome. This is not how relationships work.

Knot for Hire was a cute and sweet as honey Omegaverse read. This is the third and final book in the Knot That Kind of Girl series. It does tie up any loose ends that were unraveled in the previous books. The FMC is named Lark and she was hired to pose as a pack’s omega. Mind you the pack already has one but they do treat her kindly and with respect except for one alpha. Honestly, you can’t have every alpha be on board right away. I personally feel that everyone being on the same page right away takes away from the book. I need an alpha-hole to hate and want to bop, it gives it that little bit of seasoning to make the book delicious. Oh! I almost forgot! They have a no “spice” contract which pretty much goes out the window right away when she moves in. Our girl goes into her heat. Mind you, just because they had some spicy time does not mean she is apart of the pack. I would have loved more character development of Lark and the guys. I did enjoy the interactions between them. The physical attraction was undeniable and definitely made for some steamy moments. I recommend this series to anyone who enjoys reading sweeter Omegaverse where the guys adore and cherish the omega.
**Please note: I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.**
So, it's said all good things go by threes. And it is true in some way. I liked all the stories and enjoyed reading it. Though, it was never enough for five stars. There was always something lacking in each story.
Here it was no different, but still it was good. The conclusions of the story were satisfying, and the loose ends were tied properly. Lark embraced her omega designation, even though, she still isn't free and is far from happy at first. She is good at heart, sweet and still sassy. I liked the guys too. Each of them has their traits. Sure, characteristics are repeated—like it is in every other book. Still, it was well-balanced.
The emotions and struggles were there as well, though everything is more fast-paced, and therefore everything is solved without many obstacles. It somewhat was predictable, too. But again, I liked it. It gets my 4 stars.
This book was a really cute and sweet read. I enjoyed it with it being interconnected with the other books in the series. I found that for this one it was really good and I am so glad that I was able to read it. I have to say this one was probably my favorite out of all the ones that I have read.
I enjoyed each and every character that was introduced in the book. The FMC Lark is hired to pose as an omega for a pack that already had one. The character was so easy to love and I really enjoyed how the relationships grew between the characters. The attraction between all of them was unbelievable and those steamy moments were YUM.
This is one I had a hard time putting down.
Overall, the the book was so good and I am glad I was able to read it. I will definitely be looking forward to whatever Violet will be writing next. It makes me so excited, no matter what it is. I have really come to love and enjoy the writing by the author.
Lark is an omega for hire, she has been made into the perfect omega to display on any alphas arm. When the Steel Pack need a female omega to please their families they hire Lark. Colt is an alpha and has a male omega already but Gabriel is disguised as a beta because of the laws. When the agency has a get together it’s Gabriel that is drawn to Lark. He wants her to be theirs but his alpha Colt is a little grumpy and a hot mess. Colt and Gabriel have already mated and Colt doesn’t seem to want anyone else. Bryce and Wade are alphas as well but not into Gabriel in that way either is the pack beta Elliot so when Lark moves in they be can’t resist her pull.
This is the conclusion of Knot That Kind of Girl trilogy and it finally brought an end to Brady Shaw’s evil tyranny.
Knot For Hire is book three of the Knot That Kind Of Girl series of interconnected standalones. This is what I would call a sweet omegaverse. It has marshmallow alphas, a cheeky beta, and a syrupy sweet male omega that all make up Pack Steel. They end up hiring Lark to pose as their omega to keep their parents off their backs. Lark knows she will never have the dream life and belong to a pack. She’s an omega and has no rights and is treated like property that’s rented out. But she will do whatever it takes to keep a roof over her head and keep her out of the omega breeding farms!
This book has angst, heartbreak, secrets, humor, suspense, drama, danger and spice. I really liked all of the guys especially Gabe and Bryce! If you like reverse harems and omegaverse then I highly suggest this series!
We finally get Lark's story in this book. Lark is the last of the 3 omegas that were mentioned in book 1 of this trilogy that lived together in the Omega Compound Center as roommates.
Lark is hired by a pack to "play" their omega. They already have a male omega in their pack, but he's trying to pass as a beta and the alphas need to impress their dads in order to be left alone, but still get their inheritance. Lark decides to go along with the deal as she states no omega has ever seen the amount of money that the pack is offering her.
We see a conclusion to the over arching plot that we've seen played out in all three of the books.
I enjoyed this book for what it was a fun sweet omegaverse book that has two omegas in a pack of 3 alphas and a beta.
This was a great book. I felt it had a great plot and it flowed really well. I wish Lark and Colt had a moment where she had to comfort him after he had his nightmares that would’ve been a peak moment and probably would’ve solidified his attraction for Lark sooner but overall the relationship between the progressed beautifully! So happy there wasn’t a third act break up! I would’ve threw my kindle lmaooo. Gabriel is so great! Especially with Colt and Lark. It’s also really awesome to see the pack steel dynamic. Wade, Bryce, and Elliott are all amazing and i love them. This was very good. There wasn’t anything on page but it does discuss some triggering moments in the past that Colt had to deal with. Overall great book!
It just wasn't for me. I get it she's a red head...I get it that Gabe is a red head. Made it to maybe 40%. I wanted to like the book. Seemed like it was trying the whole fated mates between the omegas but it fell short. I thought it was going to be more towards the dark/gray area when it was more in the sweet/cute. She's kindof self absorbed which I guess I understand if all the other omegas never really talked to her but it's just all fell short for me. The writing/story just didn't mesh together well for me. Very repetitive on inner monologue.
ohh that was definitly my favorite book of the 3 ! I wasnt ever sure that I wanted to read it because the first 2 were good but not great but wow did this one was a game changer for me. I don't know what happen but wow did Violet upgraded her game! I loved every part of it, beginning to end ! Lark is sweet and sassy and the boys or just different kind of perfect. I'm very happy to have read it
Lark is a beautiful sought-after Omega at the top of her game. But she's still missing something.. love, a connection. When she is approached with an offer to play Omega for a pack of politician's sons.. she accepts... will this lead to a HEA or a bitter sweet goodbye??
A wonderful addition to this series! I love how everything is wrapped up in this book.. and although all 3 books can be read as a stand-alone.. they're so much better together ❤
Lots of grammar errors, wrong words etc. A little annoying that the editor didn’t catch these mistakes, makes the book seem a bit juvenile. The story is okay, very predictable and just a little silly with all the espionage and assassins running around, characters are very one dimensional, but if its fluff you want to read with everyone in a big happy pile at the end, then this book is for you.
This has crossover characters and was definitely my favorite out of the 3. Lark was meant to be these men’s fake omega since Colt’s family wants him setting down. Gabriel is an omega but is hiding out as an beta. Gabriel’s insta-love towards Lark is so adorable in this. All of the men have such different personalities that it is truly refreshing. I love books like this where the beta gets included and feels just as cared about by the FMC. I can’t wait to read more from Violet!
The first book in the series by far was my favorite. This book was okay. I liked that everything got tied up and the subplots from the first and second book had satisfying outcomes. I just wished for more like the first book, but that’s my personal preference. People may like this one more than the first, but alas, that person is not me. So glad the series is finished and everything was covered/wrapped up in this book.
Knot for Hire is a sweet omegaverse ending to her trilogy. I loved seeing cameos of the other characters in this trilogy, and how she fought to find her happy ending.
Lark was always a good girl, and did everything she could to find her small freedoms, but now that she’s in a pack as an escort…things are different. Those freedoms aren’t enough and she wants it all.
Lark had been the "perfect" omega at the OCC (she was there with Dove and Ravyn in the previous books). Now basically a high-end escort, the pack hires her to be a pretend omega because they need it for their image. Because he's a male omega, Gabriel pretends to be a beta. When Gabriel and Lark they meet there's connection but Colt is a complete jerk to her.
***SPOILERS...KINDA*** * * * * * In the previous books we learn about the guy who had kidnapped Colt, Killian and Roman as young kids. This book will see the conclusion of that and of course Lark will be involved. So...suspensful!
