Handbook for a Burning Age reviews an art and literary history of those who’ve gone before, men and women who have stood up in their village to speak out, who have wondered about the wilds of nature and been awakened to an elemental fact of human existence: we are the universe. Handbook for a Burning Age is about igniting a fire within us all. Before we can change or reverse the climate of the planet, we must first change the climate within our own souls. This book gives a history, of how people have been doing this for several centuries. Their aspirations are our inspirations.
