Now, after all the times Nessa let Matti go to find himself, chasing after her feels selfish. Unfair.

Aside from being an author, I am also a mom to a beautiful little girl. I tell everyone I named her after my great-grandmother (because that's the mature answer), but really, I named her after my favorite princess - just so happens I got lucky and they had the same name...If I wasn't a writer, I would work on a horse ranch - I'm an animal lover (in addition to dogs, horses are at the top of my list). I wear flip-flops pretty much everywhere I go. I would rather stay awake until 5 am than get up at 5 am (years of bar tending have left their mark), if I can, I'm going to the beach AND I will always be nice to people who bring me chocolate...or coffee...if you bring me both, I'll probably love you forever.

I write the way I live, following the story wherever it may lead, always ready to start the next one. This is clearly reflected in my body of work which to date includes everything from Children's Lit to Thrillers.
I happily reside in sunny Florida (for now) with my daughter and three dogs.

This is book two in The Rock Star’s Wife series and it is Matti and Nessa’s story. Matti and Nessa had the perfect family and marriage until it all fell apart leaving them both devastated and unable to move on with their lives as they still loved each other. Now year’s later and Matti is determined to win Nessa back but it will not be as easy as he thinks as her sister’s are determined to set her up with one of there friend’s so Matti will have to put his best foot forward if he wants to win back the only woman that he has ever loved. I absolutely loved this book and so glad that Matti and Nessa managed to overcome all the difficult situations that they found themselves in to get the second chance and the happy ending that they both deserved. I definitely recommend that you read this book as it is a real page turner along with many emotional scenes but communication was the thing that made everything come together and made them realise that they are absolutely perfect together. I can’t wait to read more books by this author in the future.

This is the second book in this series, and Nessa and Matti have the perfect life with their family and marriage, until it all fell apart. Now Matti is determined to get Nessa back, but it might be more challenging than he anticipated. This is a well written story which is an emotional roller coaster, with family, friendships, challenges, second chances, communication, turmoil, regrets, and love, which leads to an entertaining and addictive page turner.

Giving this a 2.5 stars. While I enjoyed the chemistry that Matti and Nessa had, this book was a little too
bland for me. It felt overly drawn out, especially for what appeared as a simple miscommunication. I also struggled with Nessa’s character. I just never got a great read on her, she had this all consuming love for Matti but she left him on a whim. I understand her need to find herself but, what I don’t understand is, why couldn’t she do that while staying in the relationship?

The story holds your attention from the first page and keeps you engaged til the end. The characters are strong, well developed and easy to get to know. A quick, enjoyable read.
