Grace Malone never expected to find herself back in her hometown,
Let alone teaching in her old high school, the one where she’d been bullied relentlessly for being Grace the Geek.
But with her father’s ailing health, an intolerable boss, property prices rising in the city, and relationships that had never worked out, it seemed like the right move to make.
She figured she’d buy a house, take care of her father and settle into teaching until the day she retired.
She hadn’t counted on the boy with blue eyes, the student in her history class, to stir things up, to set her heart alight.
Or that her teaching expertize might expand from the classroom to the bedroom.
Teach me Mrs. Malone is a light hearted reverse age gap student teacher romance. It’s an escape into a fictional world, meant to entertain and not to be taken too seriously. I hope it will bring a smile to your face : )
Not a bad Novella but the slow burn and lack of male POV did hinder the pacing of the romance. Definitely a forbidden romance readers get a decent view into the lives of Grace and Talon and the conflicts afflicting them.
I liked it. Been there. I've known the heat the passion of young love. It's an incredible feeling. The events of my life I'll never forget. Yet, passion deferred is love realized and the passion is so much more delicious.
This series is very interesting, so far. Well written, well paced and takes me back to high school, kind of. Of course I never had the ‘good luck’ the senior student had. But the feeling of the story seems right. I will surely be reading the rest of the series. Recommendation, give them a shot.
I enjoyed this short story; my only complaint is that I wish the author had included an epilogue or written another book about this couple as I would have liked to know how their lives looked going forward.
