Will he? Won't he? It's hard to say what bounty hunter Johnny Walker is going to do about his relationship, but one thing is certain. You mess with his woman, you're going to get messed up. Bad. That is, unless Lisa kicks your ass first. The Light Elf is searching for her missing son and is not taking I don't know for an answer. Lisa knows she needs Johnny's help on this one. She's too close to the case to see things clearly. Time for Johnny to bring out the big guns and leave the swamp to work the streets. Because this is personal. Someone has come between a magical and her offspring. Pity the fool. In a strange twist will it all curve back toward the Feds? Join Johnny, Lisa, and the hounds as they cut through the spider's web of deception in For Dwarf's Sake.
Okay, I'm a late bloomer who's a big DC comics fan and spent my childhood summers on the Jersey shore but I was born under a wandering star and have lived in different parts of America ever since. That's enough about me. Need to feel inspired today? Looking for something to make you root for an ordinary hero? I'm all about that in everything I write.
I love a good tale that makes me wonder about things and I love a story even more that leaves me feeling inspired or like I'm capable of doing more than I realized. That's my goal with everything I've ever written. Some of the stories I tell involve twisting, turning thrillers and others have a lot of magic.
There's something to be said for getting lost in another world and coming out the other side feeling a little better about yourself or the possibilities in front of you. That's basically the best part of life in a nutshell, no matter what kind of story I'm setting out to tell.
Another will written paranormal fantasy world 🌎 haunting horror ghost 👻 adventure thriller novel by Martha Carr and Michael Anderle (Dwarf Bounty Hunter book 8). Johnny Walker and Lisa take the robots to a friend where they stay. Lisa goes to Washington D.C.too get her stuff and give up ☝ the apartment. Only too find it trashed people are looking for her son Hamish. Johnny joins Lisa and they search for Hamish. The search is successful and Hamish, Lisa, and friends celebrate Johnny's birthday 🎂 party at home in the Florida Everglades. I would recommend this series and authors too readers of paranormal fantasy adventure mystery novels 👍🔰. Enjoy the adventure of reading 👓 or listening 🎶to Alexa read books 📚. 2023 😀👒🏡💘
Lisa's adult son, Hamish, contacts her, to tell her he's in deep trouble - with both Oriceran, and Earth, Dark Wizards.
When Lisa persuades Johnny to go with her to meet him, it begins a long journey, full of danger, travel, kidnapping, and exposing the largest underground list of baddies ever put together!
This book was full of murder and mayhem, a striving for Justice, and discoveries that will affect the FBI itself.
Johnny does everything he can to support Lisa, when they are attacked when meeting up with Hamish, but he is kidnapped by a virtual army of bad guys - and this is when Lisa will have to learn to take a step back, and let her friends take over and rescue her Son!
I loved this book, and want to get straight onto the next one in the series, but I happened to look at my Reading List, and realised that I missed out one of Amanda's books, which I should have been reading before this one.
So I'm going to go over to the Academy of Necessary Magic, to read book number two: 'Magic in the Marsh's, to catch up with Amanda, at school, once again.
Once I've read this, I'll catch you on the flip side, to let you know what I think of it!
I didn’t like this one as much, hurried? Things happened to fast with the borgs. Some plot points were dumb. Why bargain to take your name off a list they have already seen it on? Why be upset about removing a name you already know is there? What did the unencrypted information add? Everything about the fighting place was a mess and unfinished. He let them just walk out? How was what Johnny did helpful? There have been times when past books were so funny I had to share the joke with my family. This one I chuckled only a few times. The truth is I don’t care much for Lisa, I try. She has her moments but idk I can’t completely put my finger on what bugs me about her character. She’s not supposed to be a agent anymore but I can’t much tell. This one was a bust I hope the next is better.
This episode had a slightly different feel than the others. I didn’t have any LOL moments during Johnny’s unique conversation and violent tendencies. That’s probably just me.
The book felt incomplete. There were a lot of things happening but many were glossed over superficially. I think it’s to set up the next book, I hope.
Johnny and Lisa are deep into the dark on this one. When her son suddenly appears on the run from some really bad people. They have to trust each other like never before, taking on the organization that has her son. As always excellent storyline with characters you see grow on the page. The hounds add their own level of crazy to the story line as well. I wish I had a set of collars for my hounds! Do yourself a favor and read these books!
Like a momma bear whose cub is in danger, Lisa has gone wild. Her son, following the family tradition of stirring up trouble with criminals, has gone under cover. He stole information revealing the identities of the criminal leaders of two worlds, and they want both him and the information back. Unfortunately for them, Lisa and Johnny are on the way. A good read.
This is a great series and I really enjoy Johnny's way of handling things. This time he is going to help Lisa rescue her son and blow up some bad guys along the way. There is always lots of action in these books, but also a ton of humor most due to Luther and Rex. The coon dogs are a blast and always there to help out Johnny. I cannot wait for the next book to see what trouble they all get into.
It’s amazing how I now look at my 3 pups and envision how they must communicate to each other just by reading these most interesting books. Some times I think I can accept their shenanigans and bad behavior better just by relating them to Rex and Luther. How the authors have come up with the demeanors of these dogs is so impressive and keeps me laughing in every book read. I appreciate you both.
I highly recommend this intense, imaginative book, as well as the series and spinoffs thereof, to all readers who love reading well written paranormal fantasy. Enjoy! I want to thank all who make these book possible. They truly make my world brighter, and make difficult times easier to deal. Thanks for the laughter and fun.
I love these books, there is plenty of action and they are funny. I can't read one of these books without laughing especially at the daft hounds. Johnny Walker is a Dwarf Bounty Hunter and he makes his two hounds collars that are a bit magic when they wear them they can talk to him. These books are quite action packed and are not boring. Well worth five stars.
This has been a fun series so far. My only problem is I waited and read all of them out so far up to this book in a row, and now have to wait for the next one. 😃. I am glad the characters are growing and the universe is expanding, I just need the next book. 😃. I recommend this series.
I enjoy the Dickens out of the Johnny, Lisa & 'hounds! I hope their adventures last much longer. They delight me & fill me with anxiety as well. Thank you so much for the words of wisdom also.
This story takes an unexpected turn and a long expected turn. I love twists and I'm really glad certain things are progressing! Howard S (the S stands for Super Fan)
Again I must say great story, and Thank you both for having written a great series . Well two more books to go, I will start on 8/12/21. 1Which is in 10 minutes. Keep up the good work. Thank You.
Once again I was swept away into a world full of great characters and grand adventure. Pick any book by Martha Carr and/or Michael Anderle and you will be taken away on a new adventure.
I have only two things to say: Rex and Luthar. They are still my two favorite "people" to listen to. The story overall was fantastic, and exactly what I wanted to read. Reading this series is like curling up in front of a campfire. To the authors, please don't change.
The adventures just keep getting better and more interesting! The characters keep growing and becoming more challenging!! What will happen with the borgs?
This episode in the lives of some of my favorite characters took a while to develop. I totally enjoyed the trip and anxiously await the next installment.
Lisa is heading back to her apartment to pack things for storage, Johnny has some alone time until she calls to say the appropriate has been broken into.
This is the best one so far. Unfortunately, it's also the last one available as an audiobook! Now I have to find the books and won't be able to listen to the amazing narrator.
A little more intense than some of the other stories. It also shows both Lisa and Johnny on the edge breaking even more rules than usual. The dynamic between them is certainly getting more fleshed out.
