Every family has one. That weird relative that the whole family ignores, doesn't talk about, doesn't invite to gatherings, etc. For Theodore Cain, it's his Uncle Harold. Sure, Uncle Harold took care of Theo when he was younger, babysat him in his mansion when his parents couldn't find anyone else to do it, but Theo doesn't really remember that part of his life.
So when Uncle Harold dies suddenly in a car accident and leaves everything he owns to Theo, he's more than a bit surprised. But he and his boyfriend, Jun Liu-Chen, need a place to stay, and the mansion is more than spacious enough for the two of them. But when Theo starts hearing odd noises coming from the study after a few months, he starts to think that the place is haunted.
The truth is much worse.
In a small hidden room, Theo finds a naked man behind bars...

Ryder doesn’t exist. Well, she didn’t, anyway, until some time in early 2022 when I decided to make my silly smut into something more. The person behind Ryder is me – just a silly, pansexual, polyamorous, demisexual, nonbinary creature who enjoys telling sexy and inclusive stories with and for my friends. I live with my partner in Ann Arbor, Michigan along with our three cats (and beloved overlords).
I’ve started this book thinking it would be way more fuck up it was. When dub on is involved I always have this thought. Don’t get my wrong this was so wrong but it’s one of those you can’t really be mad at except Jun that man I swear…
My issue is the length of it to many thing missing obviously it’s only 38 pages it not a surprise but I hope she does more books for them. I would read the next one if she does.
Must read. This is the first book of Ryder's that I read. I was hesitant when I read the description/triggers but I have to say the book is well written and will take you through a range of feelings and emotions. Anger, disbelief, and sexy. Ryder enlighted me on the struggles of Indie writers so please leave a honest review.
