To find her brother, she'll bring them all to their knees... They think I’m half angel and half human. They think I have no magic. They think that because I grew up in the human world, I’m clueless about what to expect at Seraphim Academy. They’re wrong. I’m not half human. I’m half demon. And this little succubus has come to play. My brother vanished from Seraphim Academy without a trace, and I’ll do whatever it takes to find him, including infiltrating the school myself. Even if it means going up against my brother’s best friends, who know something about his disappearance and aren’t talking. They may be angel royalty, but if they think they can intimidate me into leaving the school, they’re wrong. There’s also the problem of the delicious professor who knows my secret. He’s hiding something too, and I’m going to find out what it is. But I’ll have to be careful, because if anyone finds out I’m part demon? I won’t just get kicked out of Seraphim Academy. I’ll be dead. This collection contains all three books in the Seraphim Academy Wicked Wings, Sinful Things, and Fallen Kings. That's over 800 pages of sinful angels and wicked demons, and the best part is, the men know how to share!

Info dumps and typos. This book needs a pre-read. Too many easy things missed. Many, many smexy scenes. They were fine, nice and hot, so if you're looking for that, here it is. World building is good. However, the story, was predictable. While a somewhat different plot than other Academy books, (what, with the Angels and Demons and the deep dive into their history), it was chock-a-block of tropes: bully?, Academy, RH, FMC is hated by whole school, MMCs loved/ feared by whole school, etc.
Spoilers ahead..............
Okay, the bullying? was light weight. You never really got the feeling that the FMC was very bullied, just sort of inconvenienced. So maybe medium angst? Every conflict between main characters was medium angst.
The FMC is not very smart, neither are the MMCs. The FMC's friend betrays her. However, anyone who didn't see it coming immediately, may need stronger glasses. The friend was in a group that hated demons (we find this out early in the series), she basically TOLD the FMC that the group's purpose might kill the FMC (who is half angel half demon) if their plan worked and then shrugged it off like no biggie, she was caught out lying to the FMC several times, etc. There are many red flags that should have been obvious to the the FMC and the MMCs, but for some reason they ignored or somehow didn't notice them. It didn't occur to anyone that a drone might have a camera on it and would see things they had out when it attacked. So no one thought to move the very important object so it wouldn't be stolen. The FMC somehow didn't realize the secret demon hating group that recruited her (as a nominee of her friend, no less), would want to use and/ or kill her and that's why they recruited her. What other reason would they have to keep her on when it was revealed she was half demon? Also, the friend said she knew the FMC was half demon before she nominated her for the demon hating group. It was more than obvious what was going on.
Everyone you thought was a bad guy, was a bad guy.
Who didn't know that one character wasn't dead? They were only mentioned 5 gazillion times.
Even the "mystery" of who killed Michael wasn't really a mystery. Don't know why they didn't figure it out sooner. I knew whodunnit as soon as they mentioned the person's name and his actions towards the FMC'S father were a dead giveaway.
Very little relationship building. Guys are immediately in love and willing to do anything for the FMC, and I learned not one person's last name. Don't think she did, either.
Everything is, ridiculously, tied up in a nice little bow by the end. Everyone's parents suddenly get back together, everyone finds their dream job, everyone loves everyone else and parties together at the end.
It was readable, but something you put down and go back to when you're bored and don't have anything else to read.
Just my opinion. If medium angst, predictability, massive amounts of smexy time, and little relationship building for the MC'S is your jam, go for it!
Just finished Seraphim Academy, and I’m absolutely hooked! This series is a brilliant blend of magic, adventure, and romance that kept me turning pages from the very start. The world-building is rich and immersive, drawing you into a fantastical setting filled with mystery, danger, and allure. Every scene is packed with vivid detail, bringing the academy to life in a way that makes you feel like you’re right there, walking the halls with these incredible characters.
The characters are complex, multi-dimensional, and so well-developed that they almost feel real. Each one brings something unique to the story, with distinct voices and motivations that make their interactions and relationships dynamic and compelling. You can tell that a lot of thought went into creating each character’s backstory and personality, which adds a depth that’s hard to find in other magical academy series.
One of the things I loved most was how the story unfolds across the series. There’s a perfect balance of heart-pounding action, intense drama, and those tender, romantic moments that just make you swoon. It’s an emotional rollercoaster, but the highs and lows are well-paced, making every twist and turn feel earned and satisfying. I was on the edge of my seat, eagerly anticipating what would happen next, yet wanting to savour every moment.
The only reason I’m not giving it a full five stars is the multi-POV aspect; the five-person POV threw me off initially, mainly because I’m used to stories with one or two main perspectives. Keeping track of who’s who, especially with the fast-paced plot, was a bit challenging at first, but it grew on me as I got to know each character better. I’d say it might just take some adjusting if you’re not familiar with this narrative style. That minor hiccup aside, Seraphim Academy is a phenomenal read, filled with magic, adventure, romance, and a touch of danger that will leave you wanting more.
If magical academies, epic adventures, and intense romances are your thing, then this series is a definite must-read. And on top of that, MFMMM—oh my god, yes, please! 🙈
Fun, steamy world of classic RH light and darkness and friendship. RH stories sometimes forget to invest the time in including space for female friendship, in addition to the steamy, slow build harem. It is refreshing for a series to give equal space for friendship, family, and the many bonds of love and community. Looking forward to more stories in this world.
I enjoyed Book 1. Found it information and build filled. Was an intense ride, and maybe I liked it because the plot has similar elements to one of my favourite series, Ruthless Boys of the Zodiac, just dark in different ways. I would recommend both series so far.
Told in multiple POVs but initially just Olivia our FMC, then more and more from the MMCs. We watch as FMC tries to find her out what happened to her missing brother, FMC goes to the academy to find brother, and the top boys of the academy take interest in the FMC. FMC is bullied at the academy and pushed to her limits and over her limits.
The spice is fast burn, but our FMC is half Succubus. To me the author did a great job in showing the difference between just intercourse with no passion and sometimes a ekk factor because it's a need to do to live situations, to the hot steamy spicy smex even with one MMC who indicates he feels minimal sexually, although I am not sure if it's just towards our FMC, or everyone when it comes to intimacy in that way.
4 stars
***** Book 2 was okay, the steam was high, the grovelling was mid level, and I noticed the FMC inner monologue for the reason she forgives them is logical....I guess I wish for more. The revenge was funny up to the potential 3rd one...that would be cringe. The betrayal was expected, although like the group, I started to hope it wouldn't happen.
it was an okay book. I think I liked the chasing more than the acceptance stage in this series...well, some acceptance. And our professor, I find him kind of boring, dare I say... Actually, i don't have a favourite guy in this series. Maybe i spoiled myself on pyscho unhinged, but still sweet guys a bit.... Although Bastian does have a weirdness, that's interesting. The other two...Marcus is sweet and charming, the grumpy one, Calin is screaming insecure and not much else. I need another level to these guys to like them more...
anyway, the task continues, the smex continues (not as adventurous as i was hoping just yet), and the danger grows stronger.
3.7 stars
**** Book 3 had good elements like Book 1 and dull ones, too, like Book 3.
The change in scenery kept it fresh, and so did the way it happened.
There is more action and so much more smex, a little more adventurous which was needed.
As well as action, there was relationship and family building, which added a cosy element.
I get the feeling I should have been a bit more on edge towards the end. I have read books where moments like made me cry or sniffly at least. This didn't, and for me, that was a sign. I liked the characters, okay, but I did not love them and am happy it's over. I'm also not curious about their futures.... no wait...maybe Lucifer although small in moments, he packed a punch for me.
I read this through audio, and the narrators were okay, not duel narrative, which would have been good. The male narrator made all the men sound high class English sometimes when the all around American accent the female did for the Princes and brother suited the vibe more, she also made them sound gruffer and basically saucier than the male narrator. Book 3 is 3.6 stars.
Cute read, nothing Earth shattering but interesting enough I read it all.
Though, I love angels and demons to be quite honest. I was able to predict it, and found some of the characters to be cookie cutter, however it is a nice quick read. I emnjoyed the premise, the heroine (who didn't magically change personalities like many do) and the overall premise.
I generally don't like this trope (reverse harem), but I found myself compelled to continue reading to see what happens with Olivia. Only 1/2 the guys she's "paired" with are tolerable (the others are complete dicks). Thankfully this was a Kindle Unlimited read so that played a huge factor in me picking this up.
I had so much fun reading this series! It was the perfect blend of steam, plot, character development, and world building. The author did an amazing job with all of it. The steam was fast paced (FMC is half succubus), but the relationship development was a slow burn. All the characters were well rounded, the dialogue was natural, each character had a defined ‘voice’.
At first glance the plot appears to be a typical and overused “I’m sneaking into this university to find my missing brother” trope; except the author did this in a unique way and there were many unexpected twists and turns.
- 👀 Multiple, first person POV - ♥️ Reverse harem with 4 men (3 angels and 1 fallen) - 📖 Academy trope, urban fantasy, angels/demons/fae - 🔥 fast burn, slow relationship development - 🌶 5/5 spicy stars - ‼️ Very very mild bullying, enemies to lovers - 🚫 No MM, No OW, No dub-con/non-con, no kidnapping, no physical or mental abuse from harem
I love love love Angel/Demon stories. Was really excited to learn about this one. I preferred reading and listening to the Omnibus version vs. 3 individual books, it made it much more convenient. This book felt like the reading version of watching a WB/CW show (Buffy, Supernatural, TVD, etc) it was fast and fun. IMO this is definitely a plot driven story. I didn’t feel a ton of development in the characters or relationships. The plot didn’t drag. Reminded me a lot of Ruthless Boys only angels instead of fae. Recommend if you enjoy stories like that.
I binge-read this series in a day. I think the constant forward movement makes Briggs' writing quite readable. The plot keeps turning, with only a handful of pauses to give us some information about the world (often in lectures or reading from books).
I'm not sure the shifts in relationships are wholly believable - I suspect that because they happen from book to book, they're less noticeable to someone reading one book at a time instead of binging straight through - they're not huge, mind.
Some books are good, some bad, but this one is GREAT. Some of the best writing I’ve had the pleasure of in a long time and I read several books a week. I read this entire series in 3 days and have no regrets. Intriguing, sexy, with a perfect amount of action.
I thoroughly enjoy paranormal reads, and this was so well written (despite a few grammar errors) that it’s one of my absolute favorites!! The characters had so much personality, that they made the book well rounded in a way that it could be several books all in one. Thanks bunches, I loved it!!!

“Seduction is a dangerous game, but one I have no choice but to play.”
“I’m the daughter of an Archangel and an Archdemon… and Im just the beginning.”
A gorgeous succubus, three angel hunks and a smoking hot mysterious professor. What could go wrong? Apparently a lot. Especially when archangels, demons and humans (even the fae) get involved.
I was hooked from the opening page. The way the FMC presented herself was what drew me in. I was pleasantly surprised with her character. Though what I loved the most was the twists and turns of the story and how deep the story actually went. So many unexpected developments and pleasant surprises. The three initial MMC’s gave off ZA Heir vibes, the introduction of number 4 had a similar aspect as well. I think that if you enjoyed the first half of that series, you most likely enjoy this one. I love when a book can stand on its storyline alone, regardless of added spice (that just becomes an added bonus and not a main pillar to carry the story). That’s exactly what this completed series accomplished and I loved it in its entirety.
Sadly, I'm going to have to DNF this one. Here's why...
The idea of this story I LOVE! I like the characters, I like that Liv is a Succubus so she literally needs sex to survive. I like that the princes are all different and I even like the professor/student vibe too.
However, the pacing in this book is just ridiculous! Things happen so quickly without any explanation of how or why.
You have been invited to join this super secret society and you must pass tests to get in! Ok, pass, pass, pass. Where was the struggle? Where was the story? It surely shouldn't be that easy.
The books were too short and glossed over too much for me. I needed more story, not just 'I want to do this so I do it' with no struggle or thinking.
I hope Liv and her guys are happy in the end, I just won't be reading on to find out. Sorry!
This was an entertaining fantasy read. Olivia’s brother goes missing. No one seems to have answers so she attends Seraphim Academy to find out what happened. There’s a lot to uncover in this story; Olivia is keeping secrets, there’s a secret society, secret relationships, and so much more. It kept me wanting to read to find out the truth. The magic and world building was easy to understand. I really enjoyed the play on angels and demons. I’ll definitely be searching for more! This also has a fun twist as a fantasy reverse harem. I personally would recommend reading this as a book. I typically enjoy audiobooks, but I didn’t feel like the voices matched the characters. I think both narrators are talented, but didn’t match these specific roles.
Add to your TBR if you like 😇urban fantasy with neat fantasy realms 😇Academy setting 😇Angels, demons, fae, and succubus 😇RH 😇Spice
Ehh I'd rate the whole trilogy as a 3. The fmc just annoyed me a pretty good bit. She acted immature a good bit and it just made it hard for me to get into it after the first book. Idk it's OK and I'm not mad I read it but I'm not leaping with joy either. Sometimes the books told us more than it showed us. Another issue that I had with the book no contraceptives were ever mentioned, not even mythical magic kinds, and that's a pet peeve of mine unless there's going to be a baby involved. Let's all promote safe smexy times lol unless we gonna have a baby at the end ;) . It also needs some editing. Anyways it was a solid 3 read.
So. Good. I read Lucifer & Hannah’s series first, so I was already familiar and partly in love with these characters. This series was sensational - I looooooooove the half angel/half demon aspect, the academy setting, the ~vibes~ and, like I did with the Demon King books, the background lore. This series had some phenomenal side characters, too (Tanwen & Araceli are probably my top faves). Great pacing, fantastic plot, the spice hit well - all in all a stellar read. I will say I wish there’d been just a biiiiiiiit more balance in terms of the guys having POV chapters, but it in no way bothered me enough to affect my rating.
In all honesty I didn’t enjoy this, I read through as I don’t like DNfing books however this really missed the mark. I loved the characters and there was so much potential with the story however everything felt very rushed and surface level. Most chapters being 4-6 minutes you really don’t get to delve in and explore, things just kind of got mentioned and suddenly happened then you’ve skipped 3 months and are onto something new. As a lover of angels and demons unfortunately this won’t be something I recommend
~ Angels/Demons RH ~ very mild bully ~ brothers best friends ~ student/professor
This was just ok. I enjoyed Zodiac Wolves so thought I’d give this a try. Unfortunately it was so very predictable and inconsistent. The h is a sucubus which is fun, and there’s humor, banter and open sex which kept me engaged enough to finish the book. The bully is more pranks, until the big betrayal. She gets back at them a little. I see it’s an earlier work, I might try the next one she writes and see how that is.
Oh my goodness! I cannot express how much I loved this series! This is my first fantasy/supernatural series! It’s like I am at loss for words in my heartfelt expression toward my love for this series. It has everything one would ever require in a series angst, sex, battle scenes, multiple lovers/harem, romance, actual conflict etc. I could go on and on and so forth. The best series is 2024 without hesitation! Bravo Ms. Elizabeth Briggs, author of this series! This is a must read series for all!
This was the first of Elizabeth's books I've read and I'm super impressed. Her writing style is a perfect blend that resonates with me. While I occasionally seek out books by authors new to me, with plots I'm drawn to (when waiting for new series to be released by my favorite authors) I don't often add authors to my personal favorites list.
After reading the Set-up him Academy series, I am 100% sure Elizabeth is one of my new favorites!
I can't recommend this series strongly enough. Read it. You'll be glad you did!
It's completely amazing. This series had everything I wanted. Perfect pace. Sexy scenes, good character development. I never can get enough of Elizabeth's world building. The plot was riveting. Love the why pick. Each partner was different and swoon worthy. The ending with ribbon on it made me soo happy. Also want to say the bully to lover trope isn't my favorite, but it's really well done. The bullies are never so bad.
3.5 stars. This was a fun series. I thought I wouldn't care for the angel/demon aspect but it was actually fairly interesting. I liked the heroine, the writing was solid, and the world building was strong. My biggest negative is that I was never entirely sold on the romance between her and some of the guys. It felt much stronger with two of them, and one of them was so entirely out of nowhere I could never really get into it.
This was a good light read, it was basically a way short version of zodiac academy, also with a harem lol. I really liked the world with demons and angels. The less starts was due to the writing nature, it just felt like the writing sometimes was the bare minimum to get the story along. But it was a good read that wasn’t too deep it crushed your soul, you know? There is bullying but it wasn’t as bad as zodiac academy, thank god.
