The competition in Kanagawa is so fierce that it's pushing the very limits of what's possible in a street race! Takumi finds himself up against a local legend: Satoshi Omiya of Team 246. Shuichi Shigeno (Japanese author profile: しげの秀一) is a manga artist, best known for the manga series Initial D. Shigeno has also created Bari Bari Densetsu, Dopkan, and Tunnel Nuketara Sky Blue ("First Love in Summer") all prior to the manga that would make him famous in 1995. In 1985, he received the Kodansha Manga Award in shōnen for Bari Bari Densetsu.

Pretty much what I said last time. No aura with the villains and now the next antagonist is someone Tak already beat that I had to look up because I forgot since most of the opponents have been forgetful. The beach chapter was fun for what it was but that’s only one chapter. Man this series is overhyped.

This is one of my favorite anime’s, story could definitely use a lot of help but the racing’s really exciting and love some of the main characters 😻👍🏎
