I've never really been a reader of poetry, but I decided to give this book a try and am so glad I did. "Heart Calls" is work of poetry, prayers, and short stories that inspire and encourage. This work includes a myriad of topics, including Nature, Mothers, Fathers, Grandparents, and Patriotic, just to name a few.

If you enjoy poetry and short stories that are filled with faith, then I recommend you pick up this book. If you think you don't enjoy this type of writings, give it a try. I think you'll love it.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It is a wonderful mixture of poetry, devotional, short stories, and Scripture. The writer has a sweet way with words and I looked forward to reading passages each day. It brought me joy and peace.

It lifted me up

This book was so good. I wanted to read it in one day, but took me a little longer. I wanted to get more out of it by reading slower.
