Highly unorthodox questions and answers about life after life from America's most delightful medium.
Concetta Bertoldi has been communicating with the "Other Side" since childhood. In her previous book, the bestselling Do Dead People Watch You Shower?, she addressed questions about the afterlife that ranged from the poignant to the provocative. Now she returns with Do Dead People Walk Their Dogs?, a second volume of intriguing observations about our beloved deceased.
Moving, funny, and fascinating, it will open your eyes to what really comes after life—while offering intimate insights into Concetta's own astonishing life and what her gift has meant to her marriage, her friendships, and the path she was destined to take.
Concetta Bertoldi is a full-time medium with a two-year waiting list who is regularly consulted by members of Britain’s royal family, American celebrities, politicians, and others. She is the author of Do Dead People See You Shower?, Do Dead People Walk Their Dogs? and Inside The Other Side:Soul Contracts, Life Lessons, and How Dead People Help Us, Between Here and Heaven." She lives in New Jersey with her husband.
I love this book x 1,000,000. It was the first book I read after my mother passed of Alzheimers. It was the first time I felt any peace after her death. Bertoldi is a psychic rock star.
HIGHLIGHTS: 1. God doesn’t need our gratitude, we need to experience gratitude. We need to experience sharing.
2. We need to practice awareness. We need to tune into the instincts God gave us, listen for the little voice that runs along side our own in our head, pay attention to the different feelings we get in our body that inform us of other levels of truth going on around us all the time.
3. The main reason we have this is for protection and for our growth: to learn our lessons.
4. Self-confidence is the key to having everything that you want. God wants you to have a full life of everything you enjoy. When we don’t feel confident, we don’t feel deserving.
5. When you choose love, you choose God.
6. People who send out positive energy will see good things coming back to them.
7. The souls are always close by and nevermore so when someone is about to cross. The one who is preparing to leave will be more aware of them.
8. Think big. Dream big. ASK big. God wants us to be as big as he is.
This wasn't as good as the first one. It seemed quite repetitive however it was a fast read. Consetta's books have really helped me deal with the loss of my husband at such an early age. For that I'm really thankful.
Her second book continues to teach us about our purpose. Lots about pets/animal world in this book. Having met her in person and received an amazingly accurate reading, I can only embrace what she shares within these pages. All wonderful stuff that you’ve heard before (but sometimes require reminding of…), for those with eyes to see.
p. 34 In a nutshell….”What is true spirituality? True spirituality is living in partnership with God and relying on that spirit to come through, guiding our thoughts, our words, our actions.”
p. 38 When asked about the church’s approval with psychic “stuff”, she responds that much of it is laced in fear. She continues, “This ability, like any other ability comes from God….We just tend to fear what we don’t know.” She also talks about how people accept “the idea of a ‘prophet’”, yet say psychic and all hell breaks loose.
p. 56 On meditation: Many forms—do what is right for you….deep breathing, mantras…keep it simple….relaxed state.
p. 67 The most important lesson Concetta learned from the “Other side” is to be self-confident. Don’t doubt yourself. Grab all you can from life, and know you deserve it.
p. 105 speaks of “family karma.” It is not typically one big thing, but rather little things that add up thru the years/over lifetimes. We cannot change the past….we can’t undo karma; we can only do the best we know how to do “in this life, balance our karma or burn of it off.”
p. 156 Concetta believes that we do have a basic life plan with an end (so Pop was right about the invisible stamp on our rears, given us the day we were born ).
p. 165 Concetta totally believes the orbs in/on photographs are spirits that surround us. (My college graduation pics, prime example).
p. 191 When we feel we have been wronged, the best thing we can do is let it go, and not dwell on loss. The person who has committed the offense is loaded down with big karma, and will deal with it either by blessing you, or know s/he’ll be back to sort it out in a coming life. Important fact is: We must let go of the bad feeling, in order for good feelings to come thru.

This book was written by a clairvoyant who is answering questions that she is often asked about "the other side"and the dead people who visit her and her clients. I was disappointed. I thought some of the stories were very interesting but her answers to some of the questions asked were not stories of what happened to her clients but were her opinion. Not that her opinion is wrong, the author certainly is the closest thing we have to an expert on what happens to us after we die but her opinion is peppered with references to what God wants and what God does. That's not what I was reading this book to learn I was a little turned off by it.
Again, same format as the first book, and this book isn't exactly a sequel....it can be read independently from the other book without any problems. I bought this book at her live event that I went to and she signed it for me. After awhile, it seems that all of the questions have the same answer...but nonetheless, this is a topic I am very interested in and I did enjoy the book.
Every bit as good as the first book, told with the author's signature sass. Although I don't agree with everything Bertoldi says, it's easy to pick this volume up to read with her others, or just enjoy independently.
Much better than i thought it would be. It gets a little repetitive but the book is formatted to be a skimmer. It's a nice light take on the afterlife. I enjoyed it.
I generally enjoy this type of book for bedtime reading; nothing too heavy, maybe some light humor. This book isn't bad -- it's just silly, without any humorous relief.
not as good as the other one she wrote "do dead people watch you shower"... but still an easy & quick worthy read if you're interested in the after life.
