May Summer Never End

Rate this book
Fleeing pain and misery, Rissa Young decides to quit her job and leave her Philadelphia apartment behind and head to France. Only when she arrives in France, her streak of bad luck seems to have followed, as well — when she becomes the victim of a con game. Destitute and alone, Rissa is befriended by a young woman who convinces her to stay with her family.

Evan Maynard is convinced that the woman his sister, Frankie, has brought into their wealthy home is another of the hangers-on and ne'er-do-wells she always attracts. Once he realizes that Rissa is neither, he concocts a plan that may put them all in jeopardy and that helps him discover the true meaning of love and loss. But will it be too late?

I write light, easy romance novels that are fun to read and have a lot of heart. My characters are quirky and engaging, the kind of people you'd love to hang out with. The romance is real, the heat level medium--the tiniest sprinkling of spice to make it just right.
In a previous life, I published with mainstream imprints like BET Arabesque, Dafina, and Harlequin Kimani, but now I've gone full indie. The adventure has begun!
Also, I’m from Trinidad and Tobago, in the sunny (okay, sometimes wet) Caribbean. I think that brings a lot of saucy fun to my writing.

This was a really good romance novel. I wish that something of this nature could really happen. I assumed the ending but I still was waiting to make sure my theory was right. I will read more from this author.

well as far as romance novels go, this one was the least cheesiest i've read. but the same old, rich guy rescues poor damsel in distress and they go on an adventure together. it was a good way to escape reality.
