When not writing and recording, Daimon works as a special education teacher and counselor for individuals with disabilities. He describes himself a "blessed family man" when referring to his dearest wife Deana, and two children Destiny, and Jareth. Daimon is the stepson of Florida novelist Frances Price, whom he shares her name to honor the bond they've shared throughout his life.
