And for a hot minute life no longer sucks. She has a boyfriend, a blood supply, and she and her brother, Glen, are starting afresh at university.
But as Glen struggles to come to terms with recent events, Ryn has an unexpected encounter with her not-so-new lecturer.
Add to that her sneaking suspicion that she is not the only vampire enrolled at the university, and this one seems more interested in bloodlines than deadlines.
Never mind surviving university life, at this rate, Ryn might not even survive Fresher’s Week?

I love this series! I read this in one sitting because so much happened, I just couldn’t put it down. The first book introduces us to Ryn and explains how she became a vampire and it is a fantastic story! This book is even better. The same cast of characters are back, with some new additions. Noah and Ryn are enjoying their new relationship. Ryn and her brother Glenn are off to university for a fresh start after the tragedies that befell them in the first book. My heart goes out to them, as Ella Stone writes fabulous characters who jump off the page and into your heart. It starts so well for them…I can’t say more without spoilers, do yourself a favor and pick this one up! I’m so glad to know there is one more to go because, this cliffhanger….Wow!!
I really really love this concept! I found the first book exciting and so rewarding, so different, I imagined myself following the blog. The language and way it's written is spot on and easily relatable, I honestly felt I was having a conversation with a friend. The ease at which the prose flowed was so uncomplicated and true to life. It had me once again enthralled wanting and needing to know what was next in the life of this very personable appealing vampire. Merrewyn's almost desperation to be "normal" is so touching. I love the affection and love Glen and Merrewyn have for one another, he's a really cool brother. I don't know why I was surprised by the responses Ryn's blog evokes from her followers, some condemn and judge her, whilst others are supportive and caring. Isn't this true of any medium? Whether it's social media or not, people feel the right to pass judgement on others, it honestly honestly felt like a real live blog that I was following, not a fictional fantasy novel. A rather huge surprise awaits Ryn at varsity, her ex, who she dumped when she was turned, is her lecturer but that's not the only complicated. What else is there you ask? Sorry, can't say. I will say however, when is it EVER a good idea to keep secrets? I sheepishly admit I was vacillating between "team Fin" and "team Noah". I'm only human! Who doesn't like a good romantic twist? Except it's a whole lot more complicated than that.... when I discovered WHY Finn and Noah had so much animosity between them, if I hadn't been sitting I would have keeled over! But hang on, there's more, way way more! And with the next revelation, my jaw DID drop! And it kept going until it hit the ground! One after the other, the revelations were popping out so fast and furious, I couldn't scrape it off the floor! I mean, really? How is it possible to inject so much drama in this...this...blog??? Oh heavens, oh heavens, that ending!!! I'm not going to rest until I hound Ms Stone for the next book!
Ryn Is off to university, she has a boyfriend and she and her brother are striking out on their own for a fresh start especially after what happened in book one. But of course nothing good ever lasts forever and boy does it go downhill fast! Glen is having nightmares about what went down and is really struggling with his courses, Ryn bumps into an old flame so that’s more then a little awkward and then there’s the problem with another vampire on the scene whose also dealing drugs of a sort! It’s a thrilling addition to this series and I just love Ryn’s blog entries. Old characters and new, some good, some bad this is not your typical university experience and that ending!!! OMG!
Very few books make me rush to read their sequels. The Bloodsucker's Blog trilogy is one exception! These are some of the best characters I've read all year, and the story kept me coming back for more.
Ella Stone is a treasure! The blog format is one of the best innovations in storytelling that I've seen in some time, and it's perfect for the reader on the go who may not have time for overly long chapters.

I absolutely loved this book Ryn is really trying hard to navigate her life and wowza does she get some hard blows this time around. I am worried for her since her blog has been pulled down and holy cow Calina, Noah gah so much happens in this book. Glen has his own struggles the rock finally has some fractures forming but I believe he can get through it. Totally dying for the 3rd book and rooting for Ryn!
WOW what a way to leave us, that is some cliffhanger. When I first started it I thought do I really want to read this, I’m not into this blogging thing, but then I was hooked and couldn’t put it down like book 1 in the series. She definitely has a different complicated life.
Ryn 's story continues via her blog. She has a lot on her plate and more revelations to deal with and finally makes a decision that is definitely going to have repercussions for everyone involved.
I liked this again. Even though it's ridiculous for a Vampire to have a public blog, it's somehow a very fun way to carry the story. The thing I didn't like was that FMC was way too forgiving and understanding towards her boyfriend. But overall entertaining book.
Now living with her brother Glen in Wales, Ryn is preparing to start her first year of university. The problem is: Glen is not coping well after everything that has happened and Ryn experiences an unfortunate, yet surprising, series of events.
Told through Ryn’s blog posts, the story is told with all its twists and turns in such an approachable way. What I mean by that is I would be a near-constant visitor of this blog if it existed in real life! The introduction of new characters paired with the ever-present complications meant I simply couldn’t put it down. And the cliffhanger? Epic.
My favorite of this series – so far, anyway! Highly recommend as a great escapist story that can be read in small bites (posts).
Special thanks to the author for the ARC. All thoughts in this review are honest and my own
