A well written book. My only beef with it was the way in which dialog was made up, yet presented as if it were quoted from history - kind of an awkward construction... Nevertheless, well done, with hard to find, fascinating information on the little known Mount Morgan Gold/Copper Mine. Of interest is that the seed money for exploration in the middle east oil fields came from the wealth of the gold cap of Mount Morgan. BP was founded first by D'Arcy who was in the initial syndicate that bought out the Morgan Brothers. Of more interest is how the deposit was initially frowned upon as impossible simply because of the belief that gold couldn't possibly be found associated with iron. Brags makes the claim that this is the most valuable mountain on earth...but I find it comical how many books I have read now that that stake that claim...Comstock, Grasberg, Homestake, Mt. Isa...the list goes on, with no facts about how they calculated it... I am very curious now as to what mountain really holds the title and think I am going to have to hunt down the facts. Right now, my money is on Grasberg.
