When Deana awakened King Arthur from Avalon, she set in motion ominous events.
As King Arthur and the rounds’ return loom, her hold on Avalon weakens and the web Merlin has woven is in danger. He asks too much of her. Yet, Deana cannot decide what is more dangerous–following Merlin or staying true to herself.
If anyone can create Camelot, it would be the only priestess left in the land, and her enemies know it too.
This book, the second in the series, seemed to flow much better than the first and there were less errors that I noticed. Some darker themes are brought up such as SA, which made me dislike Merlin even more. While this was a short book and did span nearly a year, it didn't feel rushed. I am looking forward to the third instalment of the series.
Memoraeterna, the belief that King Arthur will return and magic will once again be in the world. Merlin has escaped his cave prison and has moved pawns around to secure the reincarnation of King Arthur and Morgan Le Fey. The babe born to Kelli and Charles is the one destined to create Camelot. Deana is the destined mother of Morgan Le Fey.
Still could use a better editor but the creative storyline is intriguing. I am starting to suspect Merlin and Arthur aren't the good guys in this story.
