Breaking the 'No Cliff Diving' rule might be the least dangerous thing happening at the Alder Ridge Reservoir. Welcome back to Prairie City, Colorado, where the waters of Alder Ridge Reservoir are as tranquil as ever, and Rylie Cooper's life is anything but. When a repeatedly vandalized "No Jumping From Cliffs" sign is dredged up from the reservoir, it comes with a bonus—a dead body anchored beneath it. This is one mystery Rylie can't resist, no matter how desperately the DEA wants her to steer clear of their high-stakes drug case. But the corpse and sign are only the start of Rylie's worries. Rylie's boyfriend, is laid up in the hospital, and her handsome neighbor is, well, still too handsome for comfort. Add in a new summie—a spirited deaf young man—who shows Rylie the world of sign language, and she's got her hands full. Between trying to decipher what each sign in her life means—from ominous omens to ASL—Rylie is pushed to her limits. She's used to cliffhangers, but this is ridiculous! In Signed , Rylie will need to dive deep into her skills of investigation, deduction, and intuition to untangle a mystery that's more than it appears on the surface. Packed with laughs, love, and loads of unexpected turns, this tenth installment in the Rylie Cooper Mystery series is an exhilarating plunge into danger, and everyone's invited. Fans of Kristi Rose, Jasmine Webb, Janet Evanovich, and Carl Hiaasen will be captivated by Rylie's growth as she navigates through personal upheavals, professional challenges, and a mystery that will keep you guessing till the last page. Dive in and get Signed !

There are spoilers, are they important ones? Honestly probably not 😂

Another murder completed, 10/10 points for Riley, but Jesus this girl needs to get a grip, get some therapy and get her love life under control. I’ve waited 10 books for her and Luke to finally both be available to date. But guess what everyone were waiting another book. Do people read these for the romance? Probably not I mean it is a murder series BUT I WANT RILEY AND LUKE.

Rylie it’s back in her hybrid officer capacity and things are going well. She’s dating Antonio and being the best girlfriend she can be. Then she finds another dead body. Love this series and can’t get enough of these characters. Lots of fun, mystery, and romance will keep you turning the pages. Looking forward to the next one!

SIGNED!

This book was funny & interesting! After Antonio is shot, Rylie decides to go back as Supervisor of a new hybrid department of Cops/Park Rangers who investigate murders in the Park. There are new Summies when she returns & one of the new guys is Mason who is deaf. He does have an interpreter, but is able to read lips & also uses his cell phone to record what people say & then types his reply back! He is teaching Rylie signs as well!

Antonio has been in the hospital & is doing well. Rylie has been practically living there until she returns to work. To complicate things even more, Luke has returned from the Middle East & left the Military.

Another crazy turn is the "No Diving" sign from the ckiff. Someone keeps sneaking in & vandalizing it every night. A new Ranger, Stephen, has decided it is his personal mission to stop them. This time he has put the steel pole with the sign on it in concrete to make it impossible to tear down but 2 days later, it's gone. Rylie sees it in the water & when the Diving Team removes it, the man they had seen in a kayak the day before has his dead body on the sign!

Signed is the 10th book in the Rylie Cooper Mystery series.
There are developed characters, a solid storyline, and a good bit of humor.
Rylie does is again.
Someone has a campaign on to destroy one of the signs in the park, and the last time it's destroyed, it's tossed into the lake.
When they pull it out?
Of course there's a body attached to it.

Rylie gets assigned to work with a DEA agent undercover to try and bust a local drug ring.
Antonio is still in the hospital from Rylie's last case, and Coop has moved on from being in law enforcement to buying and renovating real estate.

Rylie puts another notch in her lipstick case and probably moves toward the relationship we've know will be coming for the last 10 books.

It was nice to hear from Shayla who now lives in Ireland.

I'd like to thank the author for the opportunity to read this ARC, and all opinions are my own.

The tenth book in this series, and it does not disappoint!

I love reading series' since it allows the reader to really get to know the recurring characters, and allows the author to give us longer plotlines that trace through the books without detracting from the main story.

Bixby is excellent at striking this balance. Great characters that engage the reader, plotlines that keep you on the edge of your seat, turning pages avidly, and coming back for more.

Don't miss this episode of Rylie's life, it's a doozie!

Rylie has her hands full in this book with her still new job, a mystery at the reservoir, romantic distractions, and...well life. I liked the way the author kept characters from past books involved (like Shayla in Ireland) and added new characters. Characters just for the story (like Chris and Trisha) as well as summies that we expect to see again in future books (like Mason). It's a delightful mix of personalities and keeps the story fresh. I loved the humor and sexual tension mixed in when you least expected it. Totally delightful and exciting story that is over way too soon! Looking forward to what will happen next!

A Sign, Seeing Signs, Sign Language 🤟 aka Signing…

I enjoy the Rylie series. I didn’t Imparticularly enjoy this one as much. It didn’t have as much meat to it. Spent a lot of the book in people being angry 😤 and snippy 😠.
But in the end things work out as they usually do!
I especially enjoyed Mason and how the author talked about how he dealt with things.

Rylie Cooper is a park ranger that seems to attract a mystery and usually a deaf body. Rylie still has lots to think about even with a sign missing and a body found. Some interesting characters and some intriguing plot twists that kept this reader reading. This does have some language and innuendo in it so be aware of that.

Signs

Signs are every where in this who done it. Riley seems to be maturing and also trying to become who she thinks she should be. Everything she tries just seem to be so difficult. Through all the chaos new friends and old come to her aide as she tries to figure out her life and the mystery that seems to follow him around. Enjoy

Trickster

Riley saw the sign and it led to a dead body. Antonio was in the hospital after surviving a gun shot wound to the head. Riley spent all of her free time with him leaving her dog and gecko with Luke. Is she tricking herself into wanting to be with Anthony? She is the only trickster. The wife of the dead guy has some amazing tricks up her sleeve.

I've read everything in this series and loved them all. They are so much fun, and Riley is hilarious in all the messes she seems to get herself into. There is some romance, but it's more in the background of her life than the murder cases that seem to find her. As she struggles to find love, her job keeps her on her toes. I highly recommend all the books in the series, they are quick fun reads.

Riley is back at work. There are new summies and yet another body. Riley is busy being the best girlfriend she can be to Antonio while he’s in the hospital. Now she’s also solving a murder. Plus, Luke is officially back. It’s another great story with wonderful characters. I’m still loving this.

I loved this story! It was more complex and high stakes than some of the other stories in my opinion. I am enjoying the addition of new characters and the romance is keeping me on my toes. I can't wait to read the next one!

With this being the 10th Riley Cooper book, you shouldn’t be surprised at wha she does. Riley does it again and solves a case for the police as a park ranger. While her professional life is good, her personal life is still a work in progress. (RIP Antonio + Riley) Although Luke is back in the picture, he is firmly in the friend zone (for now). We’ll see how that goes.
