Hero (H) and heroine (h): Gabriel and Sophie

H is a widower who is having trouble moving on. Gabriel owns a motorcycle restoration/customization shop with two friends. He meets Sophie, an artist who is relationship phobic, when the two of them work together to create a motorcycle for a charity auction; H restores the bike, h paints it. Their chemistry is immediate and very believable. Sophie is the first woman H has been interested in since the death of his wife several years ago. Sophie is a strong heroine, and likable. One of the things I like best about her is that she is a modern woman who owns her sexuality. While the chemistry between them is off the charts, they also build a relationship together, despite Sophie’s hesitation about relationships in general and both worry that they are getting in too deep.
Themes include grief and moving on, guilt and blame, fear of relationships, and being in control of one’s sexuality. Secondary characters are definitely secondary and not essential to the heart of the story, which is all Gabriel and Sophie.
One thing that bothered me was a continuity error regarding the dates of death of H’s wife and of his parents. It took me out of the story.
Overall, a sweet, steamy, fast and easy read. Recommended.

Gabe owns a motorcycle shop with his two friends and has closed off his heart for the past four years since his wife was killed by another driver while on the back of his motorcycle. Sophie has had a rough life and knows not to rely on anyone but herself but she is attracted to Gabe since they are both working a a motorcycle for charity with him rebuilding and she is designing the paint since she is a artist. Can they both give into the attraction between them and find that they are perfect for each other?.

This is a well written romance between Sophie and Gabriel. The author does a great job pulling you into the story and had me hooked from start to finish. The characters are strong and the story is lifelike with character flaws each will have to get through. I loved watching them come together and reading their story.

Gabriel is a widower, and owns a popular motorcycle repair business, and Sophia is an artist, and a ray of sunshine. These two are not looking for a relationship as they have both been burnt in the past, however, they may be complete opposites, but they complement each other perfectly. This is a well written story which has 2nd chances, emotions, romance, and love, which lead to a compelling page turner.

Living, Again

Having both lived pasts with turmoil, both MCs have closed out the idea of loving anyone. Love hurts; plain a simple. But sometimes, the universe has a different plan for us, as is what happened with these two. This is a story that lives true to the idea that when it’s meant to be, it’ll be.

Gabriel

He runs a bike shop and meets Sophie when she comes to paint a custom bike for a charity event. But Gab and Sophie hits it off but both have old baggage to deal with. First time reading this author and was an okay book.
