Finished 7/22/24 - Not a very strong start to a sequel. This first chapter was just getting the readers familiar with the political state of play with Optimus Prime still in control of Cybertron and to get familiar with the introduction of who Ultra Magnus is in this alternative universe. It is really interesting how Danny Lore has worked Bludgeon into the IDW canon mirroring the many layers of Magnus' character in the previous More Than Meets The Eye run, and with how this chapter ended it makes me curious how Magnus will continue in this miniseries.

I haven't read the main series and i am confused by the chronology, it's a sequel but Shocwave haven't been empurata yet? That happened before the war, right? Before Megatron punched a hole in Orion's chest. What is the timeline of this?
