Chris is a Scottish-Chinese writer and a busy working mum. She is a Financial Services honours graduate and has worked in the financial planning industry for over 18 years.

Chris has always had a passion for writing and started writing scripts in the horror comedy genre to amuse herself and others. She won a place in 2019 doing a writing workshop on Write Lines with In Motion Theatre Company in Association with Glasgow Libraries.

Sally’s Sensational Sense of Smell is her debut children’s book and it developed from an idea at a mum’s coffee morning with Jo. Both of their children started primary school in the same class.

She has some more children’s book stories lined up and is planning a collection of horror short stories for Halloween which will be aimed at teens.

She is currently working in the financial services industry in Scotland and lives with her husband and two children.

In her spare time, she loves to bake. Strawberry and Lemon Meringue cheesecakes are a and French macarons of a variety of flavours are a speciality.
