I haven’t actually finished reading this book as yet, but I MUST pause to leave this review. I’m SHOCKED that there aren’t tons of reviews and that this hasn’t blown up on social media. But gold and precious stones are often hidden. Like the pearl of great price, only those who are searching will find it.

This book isn’t long, but it’s HEAVY.
The oil in this thing forces you to sit down, take your time, digest slowly, and make note.
I have made so many highlights. So many notes.
I came across this book from a short sermon clip of the author’s on YouTube and I’ve never been happier I immediately rushed to buy something.
It has taken me MONTHS to work through this book - there is so much GOLD in it!!!!
I don’t think I’ve ever read a more thoughtfully prepared, deeply prophetic, encouraging book about preparing for marriage.
So many other authors write books about marriage. But this book has exceeded them all. It is an honor to read this. I know I will come back to it in every other season too. So deep is the wisdom in its pages.
