I'm gonna be honest, I feel like I spaced out of Jujutsu Kaisen. Not that I don't like it, just that I have no idea what's happening. My brain is still back in Shibuya, and everytime I read a new chapter I'm like "How did we get here? Why are we here?" And the scariest part? I think that's exactly what Gege is going for. This feels like someone in a fight distracting their opponent with random noises and waving their arms so they're too confused to see the right hook coming. Something crazy is around the corner. I feel it.
things are getting so much more intense and i'm here for it. ik for a fact i'm gonna love this next arc 😌 it seems to have a lot of megumi in it so ofc i'm already bias.
plus this cover??? IT'S STUNNING i don't really like this character, but still i can appreciate the beauty from one artist to another
After such a powerful arc (Shibuya), this volume is just confusing and all over the place… I’ve reread this volume several times and I still can’t seem to figure out wtf is going on?????? My mind can’t comprehend anything that’s happening rn and quite frankly I AM BORED
A solid volume but much weaker than previous ones. It's basically setting up the Culling games. I did enjoy the fights and it had some funny moments, but felt more set up than pay off. So for that it's just good.
I LOVED MEGUMI IN THIS VOLUME!!!!!! and i’m finally starting to understand the culling games a little better. i liked all the new characters and look forward to learning more about them. kirara’s cursed technique was really interesting to read about, and i enjoyed finally seeing some of higuruma as well.
something else that i thought was interesting was kenjaku appearing to a bunch of people in their dreams, and even thanking one of yuji’s former classmates for getting along with him. as horrible as he is, he’s such a cool character.
i love jjk, i love it so fucking much. i adore akutami's art and sense of humor. i laughed olot reading this!! yuji is such a funny character and i love when he and megumi are together ;~; i really enjoyed megumi's fight against kirara *u* also, i love that hikari and kirara are... a couple?? i still don't know if kirara identifies as non-binary or not, but still, so great that akutami decided to introduce them. and higuruma, my man <3
