This was another fantastic story from this author! This one picks up right where book one left off although with the ending I feel like we get more questions than answers but it’s all coming together I love the characters the character development is awesome I really love Lily Wildhart’s female characters and Briar is proving to be a favorite of mine I’m loving this story!
I wish that I had enjoyed this book as much as I did the first one but for some reason it just didn't quite hit the same. For the whole book, while the story was technically plot driven, it read and felt very character driven because things were happening but at the same time nothing was happening and I found myself getting easily distracted and putting the book down a lot. I guess that was just cause there wasn't a ton of action going on in general, there were events here and there but nothing consistent. I also found the plot points and language used to tell the story a bit repetitive. They would go to school, hang out with each other or go on a date, and occasionally attend some kind of a "family" event all while waiting for something new to happen so they could use it to track down the murderer/stalker. I dunno, I just wasn't as invested with the story as I previously was.
The one thing that really save this book for me was the spice, oh my stars was it good! I was eating up every scene and to my own shock my favorite guy is now TRAVIS?! I usually go for the golden retriever type and dislike the jerks and taboo relationships so this really took me by surprise! But the way that man talks is completely unmatched and there really was no competition once he made his way back into the harem. They all have a way with words if you know what I mean but Travis is in his own league! HE EVEN MADE ME LIKE DEGRADATION?! I don't even know who I am anymore tbh but I am completely ok with it if this is what I get as a reward! 🥵🤌🏻🔥
For the ending, I'm not sure what I was expecting but I'm not exactly surprised that that was where we ended up, am I bit confused on how we got there? Definitely, but I'm sure all of my questions will be answered soon with the last book releasing a little over a month from now. But I think I'm gonna wait until my mood reader muse tells me to pick it up so that I can achieve maximum enjoyment while reading the finale for these characters!
A Revenge So Sweet by Lily Wildhart is a dark college why choose romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Cecily Foster and Alexander Neal. This is the second book in The Saints of Serenity Falls series.
I was pulled in from the very beginning and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. The chemistry between Briar, Sawyer, Asher, Cole, and Travis is off the charts. I love the push and pull between them all and can't wait to see how it will progress over the series.
The book ended on an amazing cliffhanger that left me begging for more. I can't wait for the next book A Taste Of Forever to be released on audio on September 4, 2023.
Cecily and Alexander did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would recommend this series if you like dark romances, college romances, stepbrother romances, or why choose romances.
We picked up right where we left off with book 1. The spice and the twists and turns were definitely amped up in this book. Seeing the relationship between Briar and the boy’s development has been so satisfying. They are all growing to really care about each other in their own ways. Also that cliffhanger.. I’m excuse me, what?! Jumping right into book 3
Lily does it again! Revenge So Sweet is book two the Saints of Serenity Falls series and I couldn’t put this down!
We start off right where that brutal cliffy from book one left us and I gotta say, these first few chapters had me on the edge of my seat! I feel for our girl Briar, who just can’t seem to catch a break. But now Briar and the guys - Asher, Sawyer, Cole, and Travis - are bound together by more than just mutual attraction.
And this hangs over their heads throughout the book, in addition to more family drama, arranged marriages, bitchy friends, and our mysterious stalker.
Thankfully there’s plenty of steam along the way - my favorite is C20 🔥🔥 and it wouldn’t be a Lily book without a brutal cliffy 😫
Had the pleasure of receiving an ARC for this! I COULD NOT WAIT to read this, the first book had me HOOKED, so I had high hopes for this one and I was not disappointed!

Things are heating up and I was here for it. I really do like Briar and her just keep swimming outlook. . “She’s like my very own poison. A beautiful nightmare that haunts me every time I close my eyes.” — A Revenge so Sweet (The Saints of Serenity Falls Book 2) by Lily Wildhart . The action did ramp up some in book 2 and it was a wild ride. I lovvvvvvve Cole. I love the twins and Travis is domineering, but overall, I like him. But I love Cole. This is a fun series and I’m enjoying it overall.
Holyguacamole what an incredible book series and i am hooked for sure. Instantly thrown back to the cliffy of book one and boom we are off to an epic start.
Book two does not disappoint in the slightest and the oh my gosh moments, the steam, those four hunks are droolworthy and the badassary Briar displays is outstanding.
Hold up though, the twists and turns will leave you firmly on the edge of your seat from the family drama to moments you definately want to read first hand without spoilers.
For me the four guys are coming to grips with their love and their intensity for Briar is beautifully written. The intensity and steam is off the charts.
The ending to book two is a cliffy and left me patiently waiting for book 3!!
This might become my favorite series by this author! I loved her paranormal series she previously had under another name that she is now moving until this name, but this series has me in a hold and I am loving it so much.
We start the book off with a bang, following the confrontation that had us on the edge of our seats in book 1. Briar has to live with what happened, the guys are there for her even more, and more walls are finally broken between Briar and the last remaining guy. I loved seeing him break and boy was I not ready for his Dom/kinks hahaha. I think that bathtub scene was kinda out of left field but I was here for it (not my kink, but it was definitely steamy and she loved it so I was good haha). I was happy Travis finally revealed things to Briar so most of the secrets are out in the open. I wasn’t shocked when Briar’s mom begged her to agree to the engagement since things weren’t what they seem but the big reveal in the book I didnt see coming. I thought maybe there was a twin or something, since the baddie had mentioned a guy and lying or something. I am interested to see how things are resolved and the last secrets come out in book 3. I heard the last one is coming out soon so that is a relief, I am itching to read the 3rd book but I love these narrators so much so I want to wait to listen and finish out the trilogy.
Ok so the STEAM and relationship building in this book is fabulous. I am falling for these guys so much. There are so very heated moments but som adorable swoon worthy moments too. I want a boyfriend like one of the twins in my life hahah. And maybe has some of the possessiveness of Cole and Travis too haha. I loved the good side characters, seeing some more airtime with them. I loved the puppies too, can’t forget them haha. The ending was shocking, I am intrigued to see how the author gets us out of this, especially with the one part of the story, but also with all the women disappearances and deaths. Plot is amazing, well-paced and flow was perfect ❤️
Narration was spectacular again. I am really digging this female narrator, she did a great job in this one like she did in book 1 (first time I had heard her). She had to handle a lot of tough things in book 2 and she emoted everything so well. I felt her anguish and conflict with the thing that happened in book 1, the reveal that rocked her world in this one, the steam and anticipation with the guys (especially not that Travis is in the mix too), the anger and pity towards her mom, etc. I loved having a male narrator in this one too (with the guys’ POVs which was awesome). He did a great job, I have listened to him before but he was really good in this one (I think because there wasn’t accents to make it difficult/have any issues). Easily 5/5 for narration, cannot wait for book 3!!
Briar, my girl. I love her. Her strength, her sass, and the need she has to not rely on anyone but damn she was getting on my nerves this book! Friggin’ tell the guys when shit happens, and not 284737 weeks afterwards!!
She definitely spent a majority of this book avoiding everything going on, pushing all her feelings down and not even attempting to get to the bottom of anything, just wallowing in her bed and taking forty showers, which is why this book lost two stars. There was no real movement of things until like 95%.
The writing is good, the overall plot is great when we get somewhere with it and so are the twists but man it’s off putting to have the FMC so avoidant of things that could potentially help her later. Not saying the guys didn’t keep their fair share of secrets but Lordy. When’s enough, enough?
Now the spice, while there wasn’t page after page of it, when it did occur, shooooweee 😮💨 Travis is chefs kiss 💋
I’m sticking with my thoughts that I’ve had since last book, Connor and Dante are a huge part of all the shenanigans. Connor has been sketchy since day one, but I can’t quite put my finger on what exactly he’s doing, maybe the emails? I’m thinking Dante might also be a contender for the emails. Whatever he’s doing, why else would he be conveniently there when those guys tried to attack her? Also fuck Emerson, who I’m thinking is behind the deaths. Maybe she took the money Asher gave her and went to the City to kill that person. So many possibilities, I can’t wait for the final book!

This was everything and more! After Burn, the first book in the series, I thought no way could Revenge be as good, but boy was I wrong. In this case, I’m happy to be wrong. Revenge is fire! The characters, the plot, the emotions—all amazing, all the feels. I loved it. I love Lily’s writing style and boy does she deliver the goods! This is a dark romance so read the trigger warnings before starting.
Revenge takes us down a windy road of chaos, with arranged marriage, murder, investigations, smexy times, and so much more. We get to see a new side to Briar with this book. With all the chaos, drama, and angst surrounding her, she’s forced to adapt to her new situation, and it’s not an easy transition. I don’t want to give anything away, so my review is a bit vague, but it’s so interesting to see this new side of her. The guys are as delicious and wild as ever. With new secrets swirling between Briar and the guys, they have to work together to prevent everything from falling apart. We also get to see a new side to Travis which is excellent. Don’t get me wrong, he’s still an @$$, but we get to know him a bit better to understand why he is the way he is. Each character brings something that Briar needs—something unique—to the table, and I love seeing these guys grow and adapt. The plot is fantastic, it’s a wild ride filled with twists and turns. The spice is fantastic, and I want more!
I am in love with this series and couldn’t read Revenge fast enough. I flew through the pages and sort of wish I had gone slower since I finished it so quickly, but d@mn, it was that good. If you are new to Lily’s books this is her second series, and I love how we got a few mentions of characters from her Knights of Echoes Cove series. I absolutely recommend this book to anyone who loved the first one. If you haven’t started the series, what are you waiting for!?
Super sequel 🧡 Well after the absolute bombshells dropped at the end of the last book, this book quickly covers them but from the guys POV and it really adds to the WTH?!?! And despite their differences, the hot and cold, and their alpha ways the guys really come through for Briar throughout this book 😍 Asher and Sawyer have always been their Briar and contours to be her rock and light throughout this one, Cole has some tough decisions to make but ultimately the right one and then Travis…well he has a lot of demons to deal with 😬 but wow when these boys go all in they certainly go all for it 🥰🥰 and wow do they worship this FMC 🔥🌶️🔥🌶️ This second book provides more insights especially into Briars back story, but more about each of the men aswell, which provides some insight into why the way they are with her 🙈 There’s also Briars stalker, and it’s so cleverly written that at times you don’t know whether said stalker is out to help or harm her… There’s a lot of information dripped throughout that throws the story in different directions and makes you questions things, keeping you enthralled all the way though 😃 Looking forward to seeing how these threads are wrapped up in the last book!!
OMG. The stakes are higher in this book and the people in this book are just doing everything they can to protect our Queen Briar. It's like every plot twist just shookt the hell out of me in this book and sometimes I am conflicted with the characters in this book whether I wanna throat punch them in the face or I would be sorry for them.
I want to say I have adapted a new liking to Travis' grandfather. I was definitely cheering him on in this book. He definitely is the MVP in this book aside from Travis. I am so freaking glad that I am able to revisit the characters of Saints U. And lord the spice. Holy fuck its just jaw dropping, where my soul ascended to another plane type of smut. JFC and that ENDING! I am so happy that the relationship between briar and the other guys has been developing.
At least we get OPEN communication and that's what we all want!

So... I'm going to need book 3 asap, pretty please. Lily didn't waste anytime drawing us back into the world of Saints U. The cliffhanger of book 1, leads us into the beginning of book 2, covering up a murder, and the possibility of arranged marriages are the new normal. Briar, and her guys, Travis, Cole, Sawyer, and Asher try to find a way out of the horrible situation they're all in. Bodies are piling up, and their world is slowly closing in on them, leaving them to wonder if keeping secrets or coming clean is better.
I love how we see all of our MCs grow, both in character, both separate and together. With Cole becoming more active in protecting Briar from the world closing in around her. The twins being the sweethearts and being the calming pillars that she needs to lean on. Travis, oh honey, there is so much going on, and I know that he is still waiting on Briar to forgive him.
One thing I really appreciated was that there was a great balance, of 🌶, tension, and plotline throughout the entire book. Nothing seems to overtake the other, and we even get to see more of the guys POV in this book!
I am not sure if this will be a 3 or 4 book series but we're really in for the ride of our lives with these characters!

Now they have secrets they need to keep hidden from the world and hope they don’t get caught. But bodies are still dropping around campus and things are becoming suspicious.
We learn more about Briar’s past and what she has gone through. She’s struggling with it all and tries to keep to herself but these guys.. they don’t want her struggling alone. I love seeing them silently being there for her, letting her know they are there waiting for her when she needs them. We get some yummy spicy scenes in here as well and can see her relationship with each guy grow more and more strongly. 🤍🤍🤍
Now this book ended in a cliffy that I was worried would happen to Briar but you know... it’s expected now. 😅😭 can’t wait for the final book to release next!!
ARC REVIEW Releases 11.4.22 We pick up this book a timst bit back from where we lift off. We relieve that dinner and engagement announcement. We also relive Briar’s trauma that night through the eyes of her guys. Also, we got our series cross over with mention of Stone Royal! I love the cross over connections!
Twists and turns keep happening and I swear it’s never good news for Briar. That doesn’t stop Sawyer, Asher, Cole and Travis from trying to help her and make it all better. They get out of the arraigned marriages, but only to realize there is more that Briar is up against.
I think her new contact she made at the party will come in handy big time! Especially with the handcuffed ending that we kinda saw coming, yet we’re super pissed about. Who saw this and who has been sending her the pictures.
I have many suspects! Dante? Conner? Bentley? Mr. St. Vincent? I can’t wait to see where this goes, and I’m excited for book 3, the final book! Definitely recommend, however if you dislike cliffhangers, maybe wait and binge!

This book picks up right where book one's epic cliffy left us hanging. The way these men came to Briar's rescue with absolutely no questions asked was amazing. The teamwork that followed not just with this instance, but through the book as a whole was even better! The spice level has gotten so much better in this book that I swear the majority of all of my highlights are just Travis and his mouth. And that reason alone is why Travis has stolen the second top guy spot for me. Because let's be honest, the top spot definitely goes to Shadow. That furry poof has my hurt in a vice since the beginning and it has gotten even tighter with this book. 😂
The frustrations are not short lived though as Briar's stalker is once again making a mess of things. And we are soon left with yet another epic cliffhanger and dying for some answers.
To start off I want to say that I absolutely loved the fact that in book two the author changed POV in different chapters so that you got a better understanding of not only Briar and how she is viewed but also each of the boys. We also got a lot more back story in this book on Briar and even some on the boys. We also got to see the parents from the boys points of view.
I would say the spice level in this book was a bit higher than book one and they were a bit more adventurous with it in this book. Then there is the crime part of it. It becomes a bigger part of the story in book two and also gets way more dramatic (I won’t spoil it for you though, you will have to read that drama for yourself)
This is a fantastic and very well written book. I love the POV of not only Briar but each of the boys because you come to understand them all a bit better getting a peek inside their thoughts and not just what Briar sees of them. I definitely enjoyed and recommend this book and cannot wait to read the third one.
We pick up pretty much where book one ended and it’s not any easier to hear or see the second time around. But boy oh boy, if you think that news is crazy, wait until you see what happens next. You will not be prepared for all of the twists this story takes. There is a lot going on with Briar and the boys and more crap seems to pile up by the week. Some of this could be avoided if they all were honest with each other. That truth may hurt, but at least they won’t be blindsided when something happens. The audacity of these parents is just sickening though. No wonder these kids all have trust issues. They do have some family on their side but that doesn’t help them much in the end. Briar continues to have a unique relationship with each of her men but damn, Travis’s mouth about did me in. That is one dirty, dirty man and I am here for all of that. Some questions get answered but a million more pop back up. Wait until that ending though. I thought the first one was stressful. This one takes it to a whole different level.

The first book in this series holds a special place in my heart, so I was beyond excited to dive into A Revenge So Deep. This book was everything I hoped for and more.
Picking up directly after the events of book one, Briar finds herself stuck in the middle of more than her fair share of drama. With a huge secret to hide from the world and murders continuing to happen, nothing is simple. To make matters worse, her mother and her new father in law are intent on causing more problems.
All four of the men within this book are so incredibly attractive in their own ways; I don’t often read step sibling romance but Travis and Briar works on so many levels, while Asher is still my favourite, I grew to love Cole, Travis, Sawyer and Asher more and more throughout the course of this.
Safe to say with a cliffhanger like this, I’m absolutely gagging for book 3 and I don’t know how I can wait until January
This was a whirlwind. For a sequel, this is what I expected. It picks up where book one leaves off. The boys save Blair and attempt to cover up the murder. However, the person killed turns out to be a bigger problem than anticipated and continues to cause an issue throughout the story.
Previously the twins (especially Sawyer) were my favourite, but Travis...omg, the hold this dominant man has on me now. The way he talks..offf. I'm so glad he decided to consider himself and open up to Blair to allow her to understand the motives behind his actions. I'm also proud of Cole for standing up for himself. The boys have grown a lot. Special shoutout to Travis' grandfather for respecting humans and not believing in trafficking. I wish I could say the same for Travis's Dad.
The ending...Lily, why must you keep doing this to me?! Overall, I did enjoy this and I cant wait to see what's next.

First off I've taken law classes and watched enough tv to know you cannot arrest someone based on suspicion without even circumstantial evidence at best. Nor can you take DNA from someone based on suspicion because they happened to be near the scene of the crime when it was committed. Its all hearsay and speculation. These officers wouldn't be working still if this was the real world.
I honestly had a hard time finishing this book. I Al most have up at the 50% mark but I really hate not completing something. Why did I almost give up because I hate doormat FMC like Briar. In the first book I thought she showed promise even though her internal dialogue was annoying. I appreciated how she stood up for herself with the bullies and took the high road. What I can not forgive is that she repeatedly let Travis call her a slut and a gold digging whore in front of people and never mad him apologizing given everything she’s been through. Not only did she not make him apologize he basically snaps his fingers and tells her to fuck him and she dutifully obeys. He even has the audacity to choke her days after she was attacked by someone trying to straggle her to death while making her hold her mouth open so he can spot in it…WTHF? Oh yeah and continues to call her a slut and a whore. I’m sorry but there are no redeeming qualities about this guy. Beyond that she lets him waterboard her and continue to be his punching bag sexy doll for whenever he feels like it. Cole is also a nobody character, just a random and unnecessary 4th dick is the sausage party. She should grow a backbone and really only end up with Sawyer and Asher, maybe Dante.

The second book in the Saints of Serenity Falls series by Lily Wildhart is everything you never knew you needed.
A Revenge So Sweet picks up where book 1 (Burn) left off. The boys come to Briar’s rescue and they start to deal with the fallout of the big announcement made during Thanksgiving dinner. Sawyer and Asher’s feelings toward Briar continue to grow and Cole gets on board with things. But what about stepbrother Travis? Will he get on board or will he continue to fight his feelings? I won’t give that away, but I will tell you that this book had several hot scenes and probably one of the hottest group scenes I’ve ever read.
The author writes the chapters from different POVs, and, in many cases, shows you the same scene from someone else’s POV, which is very cool. The spice level is high! The story is fantastic and the writing is excellent! The book will end with a cliffhanger, but you won’t be waiting long for book 3…so don’t wait, read this book now!

I loved the 1st book but I loved this one so much more. I was not expecting the pov’s from the boys and I’m so grateful we got them! As much as I love my girl Briar, it was really nice to delve into the guys characters and see how they all view Briar. Asher was my favourite in the first book but I think Travis knocked it out of the park for me this time…I would let him spit in my mouth…just saying🤣
Also a very niche thing I like about these books, is the songs. Everytime a song was referenced I immediately ran to spotify to play it and it just made the scenes so much more interactive. This was a great second book in the Saints Of Serenity Falls series. I think it just may have had even more twist & turns than the first book. And the first was very twisty turney! Is this what college is like now a days? I have not been out of college that long for things to change this much! (lol) I'm only 36. This book was a total page turner, even though I listened to it on audio, I had the speed cranked way up so I could listen faster. That seems similar to a page turner, but there are no cute words for it. The addition of a second, male narrator was an excellent idea. The female narrator did a great job by herself, but there are a ton characters and most of them are male. So it was totally fitting. The ending was another cruel ending! I have to wait like 5ish days until book 3 comes out. I can't wait to see what happens! I def recommend this series so far!
A surprise engagement. An attack. A death. Briar's life is out of control. And someone knows. Her guys are determined to protect her but she knows, it's only a matter of time before her secrets catch up to her.
I love these characters almost as much as I hate their parents. I can't imagine why the guys allow themselves to be controlled like they do. They are no longer children. It's time to take some of the control back. Surely they can walk away from the money. Only one has a legitimate excuse; the others need to man up. Briar has always made her own way, it's time they prove they are as strong as their girl. Despite the poor parenting, it didn't feel ridiculous. They stayed within their characters if that makes sense. And it is entertaining. Spicy scenes with the guys, adorable puppy snuggles, many revelations, and more scheming than you can imagine made it a page-turner. The ending seemed to be a little contrived but it continues the drama. Can't wait for more.
I need the next book immediately! Another amazing book! It has all the feels and suspense to keep you thinking about it long after you finish reading. The first book left us with so many questions. While we get some answers in this book, there are still so many unanswered. No wonder we needed a third book. This book is packed with secrets, mystery, betrayal, angst and spice. The relationship between Briar and the guys continues to develop and grow as they open up to one another. I love all of the guys individually, but as a group they fit and work so well together. They all take care of Briar and are there for her in different ways. The steam in this book does get amped up. We get Multi POV’s which I always love to get the guys thoughts and feelings. I am desperate for more!! Can’t wait to see how all of this unfolds and how their story turns out. 🌶🌶🌶🌶/5
