This nonfiction book is divided into forty short chapters covering physical, mental and spiritual situations. Joyce Meyer takes the reader through forty promises with Bible text references (some written, some listed), which provides wisdom for facing challenges or difficulties that might come the reader's way. Highlighted is the importance of reading, studying, meditating and obeying God's Word. Included are a Table of Content, Conclusion and Notes.
I feel the last paragraph on page 203, in the Conclusion, summarizes the book:
“God’s word is the best and most trustworthy guide for life. It will never fail you. As you read it, study it, meditate on it, and obey it, you will find hope for every situation, answers for every question, and overcoming power for every problem.”
For myself, I feel I have benefited from reading this book. The Bible references I've looked up have supported the promises. Some I knew and some are new to me. This is the second Joyce Meyer's book I have read. It is a well written, well referenced nonfiction book, which will encourage and inspire the reader to trust God in challenging situations.
