This one didn’t pack as much of a punch as the first one but it was still everything I’ve grown to love in Cole’s books. He’s gonna tug your heartstrings, at times ripping the whole damn thing out before he puts you back together.
This one was less about the heartbreak and more about the elicit affair between Justin and Professor Grant. Trust me, it’s worth every naughty detail. I mean who doesn’t love shower sex and some spanking?!
It was quite a little rollercoaster, that does bring you to your knees before giving you the HEA you’d been hoping for.

Book two in the Redemption series.
Book two is more about the present and Professor Grant (Lucas) and Justin’s secrete relationship and navigating it while working together. While they learn to care deeply for each other, they also have some steamy office seggs and shower seggs at the gym 👀
Justin’s sisters becomes more I’ll and he’s being harassed at college by his high school bully as well while he’s trying to deal with his traumatic past back in Lithuania and navigating his relationship with Lucas and his life at home with his father, brother and dying sister.
Lucas is a big comfort for him, but Lucas also trying to deal with the death of his former partner.

A nice conclusion to Justin and Lucas' story. Both men had a lot of heartbreak to overcome and finding each other was the start to their personal healing.

Cole Denton is at it again! The opening chapter grabbed me and pulled me right in there. He’s taking no prisoners in his mission to keep writing book after book that delivers a captivating story but also stories that pack a punch right in the feels.
With every sentence you can easily picture what is going on inside the heads and hearts of his characters as they live their lives. Captured is the second book in The Redemption Series, revolving around Justin and his relationship with Professor Lucas Grant, Justin’s family and the baddie we all love to hate.
Warning - you will break your heart over this book but I’m not telling you why, just have Kleenex and anything else you need to help you through on standby. Lots of Kleenex!
Cole Denton weaves his unique writing style into this story that has tropes I enjoy reading from the dark romance genre - forbidden professor and student romance, MM romance and age-gap romance. Highly recommended!

Lucas's story was heartwarming. His attraction toward Justin was strong and he wasn't letting go. Not only was he Justin's professor, he also had Justin as his PA and showed him that it was ok to open up and have a friend to lean on. Attraction definitely wasn't an issue, their sexual chemistry was crazy and they could communicate well. Their pasts were in the way of what should happen next and until they could get through that, they would continue grasping at every moment hoping it's enough. The Redemption Series doesn't disappoint, it brings alot of depth to the surface and allows the characters to unfold. I love this series.

I was excited to read the next book in The Redemption Series. Loved it, but once again Cole made us want more. We get to see the story of Lucas before Justin. Quincy had been his love and losing him left his with a hole in his heart. There was something about Justin that brought him back to life, despite the age difference. I really enjoyed their further adventures. Of course we still had to deal with Preston, always needing an antagonist. Loved that Lucas came to Justin's rescue, in everyway. Was sad the loss that Rami made in Justin's life, but was so glad that Lucas had his back. These guys deserved a happy life together. So glad they finally found happiness.

Another 5-star read from Cole Denton! No matter what subject matter he writes about, Cole has a way of pulling you into the story, placing you right next to the characters. Captured is a beautifully written and emotionally charged story which had me intrigued from the start. It's about love lost and gained, hard decisions, and strength. It's both heartwrenching and heartwarming. Lucas and Justin will pull at your heartstrings. It was nothing like I expected but had everything I needed. Yep! I highly recommend Captured.

This one maybe wasn't as tragic as book 1 but it was still heart breaking. Justin and his family are really struggling with their situation. I'd really like a happy ended for his dad (Vince) and his brother (Nic) as well. They all deserve some happiness in their life. Lucas has also had a rough past. He's trying to use his past "mistakes" to help Justin. He's very protective of him and loves him so much. I'm not sure od this is the end of their story but maybe with Chase making an appearance it won't be the last of them.

Lucas and Justin CAPTURED my heart!
Captured definitely caught my heart. Lucas and Justin didn't know who needed who the most. Both with troubled past looking for redemption in each other. This a bring your tissue's with in true Cole Denton fashion he brings it all the emotions and you can feel it deeply.
Definitely grab your copy and read the continued romance between Lucas and Justin. Absolutely recommend Author and book. Cole Denton writes MM Dark Romance at it's best never disappointes.

All the feels!
Cole has done it again! Book 2 of this story is just as emotional and captivating as the first. It continues with Lucas' and Justin's relationship and the obstacles they continue to face in their daily lives. Be sure to have tissues handy as this is a typical Cole story...rip out your heart before making things better 😉. Highly recommend!

Perfection again from Mr Cole Denton. I loved seeing Lucas and Justin again.
These two need each other and it was heartwarming to see how each completed the other.
I hate crying and so far Coles stories (not all but most) are the only ones where I don't get angry at the author when I cry.
And I loved the little Easter egg cameo at the end.

Phenomenal
I don’t know what to say. This book is absolutely incredible, amazing, and heartfelt. I loved every minute of it. Lucas and Justin are beyond perfect for each other. The writing and flow of this book is top notch. I beyond recommend this book and author.

This book book is a tearjerker. But oh, so good.
With all the trauma poor Justin and his family have been through, there seems to be a bit of light at the end of the tunnel.

Like always was there no chance that Cole Denton was disappointing me….. Lucas and Justin a great together. I enjoy Cole’s type of writing and I barely can put his books down. This one is no exception.

A hot, heartbreaking, and heartwarming, & story.
Captured by Cole Denton picks up with young immigrant Justin as he struggles to help his family care for his ailing sister, while attending his college classes, studying, and his job assisting professor Lucas Grant.
The amount guilt and sense of responsibility he carries for past events that were no fault of his own, broke my heart yet he’s so determined to succeed.
Lucas Grant is drawn to Justin in a way he hasn’t allowed himself to be for a long time. After two failed past relationships left him feeling like he wasn’t enough, he sees Justin as a chance to finally get it right but he also has to cautious as a professor and Justin’s boss.
Both of these characters pulled me into this story in true Cole Denton style. As they grew closer and explored their relationship through their kinks together, the forbidden student/professor aspect and sneaking around made every encounter that much hotter.
Lucas becomes Justin’s rock, supporting him when family circumstances weigh on him. As life throws one thing after another at him, Justin finally breaks down and tells Lucas about his life and allows him to help him through it all.
Lucas never falters, stepping up in unexpected ways to make sure nothing stands between Justin and his dreams, leading to a happy for now ending that left my heart swelling with hope for them both.
