All I want is my happy ending with the boy next door.
Every time we get close, something threatens to break us. Half-sisters, town gossips, and jealous exes throw punch after punch, but we hold on tight to each other as we attempt to navigate the chaos.
With his life in the spotlight as a professional football player, I start to feel like it might always be like this.
All I can do is pray there’s no mistake so big we can’t overcome it together.
NO MISTAKE is the fourth book in the VEGAS ACES: THE WIDE RECEIVER series. This series must be read in order.
Lisa Suzanne is an Amazon Top Ten Bestselling author of swoon-worthy superstar heroes, emotional roller coasters, and all the angst. She resides in Arizona with her husband and two kids. When she's not chasing her kids, she can be found working on her latest romance book or watching reruns of Friends.
No Mistake was another heart-wrenching instalment, beginning to end, with some sweet, hopeful and sexy moments in between. These two are so flipping cute. I just wish the universe wasn’t out to separate them. They deserve so much better. Lisa better make their ending an epic one and deserving of their love story!
I’m glad that whole baby daddy and his wife situation wasn’t as bad as it seemed (so far, at least). But everything else is just making me mad and hella curious. Why are all these women against them and how did they all come together? Ugh, it’s so frustrating! I hate them all. And the way, this book ended broke my heart. I was praying something like this wouldn’t happen. I just wish Tessa had been forthcoming early on, the fact that he found out the way he did, on the day he did, man 💔💔 I hated it for him.
I really don’t know what will happen next, but it won’t be good. On a hopeful note, I hope Savannah used her investigative skills to find their son. I really hope that will be a silver lining to it all. I’m dying to find out. I need the final book now, even though I’m scared of how everything will play out.
➳ARC kindly provided by the author, in exchange for an honest review.
The 4th book in Lisa Suzanne's Vegas Aces: The Wide Receiver series, No Mistake, dives right back in where book 3 left us last time- hanging by a thread. Spoiler alert- take a timeout if you haven't read the previous 3 books because these are NOT standalones but part of a 5 book series that must be read in order.
The deeper I got into Tristan's story, the more I saw this one of a kind man's protective heart of gold and a surprisingly naughty side that I could certainly appreciate. Tessa, Tristan and their newly rekindled romance is the long awaited second chance at the happy ending they deserved but never had. Their story gave me all the feels as I watched their hopes and dreams taking shape again, with wedding plans being made and their future happiness, now within reach.
T and T have their fair share of trouble makers who are NOT in their corner so, if loving to hate evil, interloping ex's and mischief making wannabes brings out the sassy ass kicker in you, this is your book!!! They lurk, gather and strike when least expected which kept me wondering what or when Lisa Suzanne's imaginative author's mind might conjure up something wicked to throw in their paths next.
The 5th and final book in this series, Favorite Mistake, will have to work really hard to untangle and piece back together the huge clusterbomb at end of this one. Seriously, talk about heart pounding, shocking but not unexpected endings- even though I knew it was coming, the cliffie at the end of No Mistake was a doozy!
I received an early copy to read and review. These are my honest and freely given opinions of this book.
Well, I hate to say it -- but this one slipped down a notch because of so much repetition, page-filler sexual encounters and not much forward movement. I'm of the opinion this series might have been better if the author had chosen to go the three-book route. Once again readers are left with a humdinger cliffy that hopefully should be wrapped and tied up neatly in a pretty bow with the release of the final installment on November 17, 2022.
Well, we worked through several issues, and then other crops up. Tessa and Tristan need to lose the outside noise and be together. Secrets are told, and promises are made; a little sleuthing makes up much of this book. It always amazes me how this author can make me dislike a character SO much. Yes, Savannah, you get that honor. You and your possie of trouble are not wanted in Vegas anymore. Looking forward to book five to see how this all wraps up, as we again are left hanging with pertinent details to end book four.
Thank you to the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.
I really hate to say this, but I thought this book was boring. It’s a continuation of the series of course, but pretty much I think you could skip all of this book except the beginning and the end and you wouldn’t miss a bit of the plot line. After how slow the last book was I thought this one would be *more*. I am really ready for the end of this story, not because I can’t wait to find out what happens, but because I’m tired of it dragging out. There are no surprises and all they do is doubt themselves. I received an arc for my honest review.
I was given an eARC copy of this book from WordSmith Publicity for an honest review.
What the actual- LISA. How can you do this to me? haha I somehow knew this was when it would hit the fan. I just knew, but the way it happened. This book gave me everything I needed. Oh my heart. I screamed a few obscenities. I laughed. At one point, I snort laughed and my husband looked at me funny. I cried.
Planning their life together, moving into their dream home, getting ready for baby. Tristan and Tessa are getting on with their lives. But that's too convenient, right? There are too many outside forces and variables that are out of their control that come crashing down in this 4th installment of TnT's story - and it crashes in a big way.
THAT ENDING. What is it about Savannah that draws out the worst in people? Why can't Savannah get herself together like Michelle apparently did? What's it gonna take? And Tiffany and Brandi? This is all getting out of hand! Just let my second favorite Aces couple live in peace, please! But, of course, it wouldn't be a great story if the drama and angst wasn't there to overcome.
This book prepared me for the end. I know we get one more book, and I'm glad of that. This book gave me all the feels. All the sugary sweet high of Tristan and Tessa's true love and the dark, twisty rage of wanting to sucker punch Savannah in the throat. This book was a complete serotonin boost. A boost I definitely needed - and even with the crash at the end, I know Lisa will tie it all up for us nicely by the end. Here's to Tristan and Tessa in the house on the corner!
Tristan is hurt when Tessa disappears without any contact and the feelings of the past resurface. When she returns it is full speed ahead with their relationship and he is looking forward to her future but there are people in their lives who will do whatever is necessary to keep them apart.
Tessa is determined to protect her baby and her relationship with Tristan. Although she isn’t happy when Tristan reveals his secrets she also knows that she can’t cast judgement as the secret she holds could be the one thing that their love may not be able to overcome.
Some questions are answered but many more remain as Tristan and Tessa fight for their love and then the drama escalates into a cliffhanger that leaves us wondering how they come back from the latest bombshell to be revealed.
When you thought Tessa and Tristan are finally going to get married, of course, there's something that ruins it. And Tessa's secret is now finally out. I still think these series should not have more than three books each because now it's just a repetition of the dramas in the previous books. And again, it happens in this one and it's even shorter than the previous book. So you know what that means. I can't wait to see Tristan's reaction in the next book.
This book has a little less plot than the others have had, I wish there was more meat to the story, but I’m ready to find out what happens in the next book.
I read No Mistake this morning in one sitting and I need more. I mean…THAT ENDING?!?! How long do I have to wait for the next one??
No Mistake follows T and T in their bliss, while they prepare for the future. Tristan starts out feeling like he did 7 years prior when she left, but she returns full of valid excuses this time days later. Everything seems to be going smoothly, but there’s always a looming sense of something bad happening. Both sides have secrets they would like to keep buried, but nothing is off limits with this one.
I loved Ben in the last series, but we don’t deserve Tristan. Tristian is literally the sweetest guy all of the time, and then he shows off that dominant, sexy side…a dream of a guy. Tessa has been through a lot as a character and I was very happy to see her get some closure on what is going on with Stephanie in this one. Tessa is adjusting to her new life and all the curveballs it is throwing at her.
I have a feeling the first bit of the next book is gonna be a bit heartbreaking for both of them. I hate that secrets came out the way they did for them both. There are a few characters I’d like to push off a bridge, especially since one has been a nuisance in the past series (I’m looking at you, Savannah). I believe in Tristan and Tessa though, I think they will work out their issues, especially now that things are out in the open.
Overall, I really enjoyed this one and I’m really loving this series. I can’t wait to see what the last book is gonna bring because I feel like there’s still a lot to wrap up. If you have been following T and T, you’ll love this installation and the drama it brings.
*I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.*
I am having a hard time understanding any of this one. Like you want to get married where no one finds out, yet you go to Vegas? I can’t even. I swear this couple gets dumber every day.
Glad the truth finally comes out from all their secrets though. Cause that was also super annoying- like she can be mad at him for keeping secrets but she is keeping the biggest one ever?
Tessa is an idiot and I just can’t take her. How Tristan doesn’t see that all this time, I have no idea.
Lisa Suzanne has us continuing with Tessa and Tristan’s story inNo Mistake, the fourth book fromVegas Aces: The Wide Receiverseries by picking up right from the cliffhanger ending inHonest Mistake.
The more Tessa and Tristan’s story continued to expand and develop inNo Mistake, the further and deeper you were reeled into the book. Something that was definitely the case for me. Once again the journey continued to lead us on quite a super emotionally path, when you took into account all the feels that Tessa and Tristan were dealing with that was made very clearly known through their perspective. Given the details that were unravelled and explored. Simultaneously Lisa had us trekking upon some major bumps considering the turn of events with the major hurdles that came about from the situations Tessa and Tristan had to face and overcome throughout. Particularly when it came to the secrets from their own pasts that were beginning to unravel, causing the strength of their relationship to be tested and in more ways than one.
Dear lawd it needs to said, Tessa and Tristan both frustrated me to no end many times throughout. And yet that didn’t stop me from devouring each and every page the deeper I fell into their story once again. Lisa truly knows how to grab ahold of you, having you not wanting to let go even at the very end. Since even then, considering the cliffhanger, you were still yearning for more with wanting to see what would happen next.
Talk about an explosion! The cliffhanger at the end ofNo Mistakethat Lisa Suzanne left us hanging on definitely blew all the others out of the water! But then again considering it is the second to last book, it was to be expected. HonestlyFavourite Mistakethe final book inVegas Aces: The Wide Receiverseries could not come fast enough, having me dying in anticipation to read it ASAP!
*I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
No Mistake is the fourth book in Lisa Suzanne's addictive Vegas Aces: The Wide Receiver series and is Tristan and Tessa's continuing story. No Mistake picks up right where Honest Mistake left off. Tristan has just returned home to Fallon Ridge to find Tessa has disappeared...again and all Tristan can think of is he's lost her all over again and he can't help comparing it to what happened seven years ago. Thankfully after a couple of days Tessa returns home, she had to go back to Chicago to sort some things out and her phone had broken. Panic over right? But even though Tessa and Tristan are back together and is head over heels in love with each other and they're going to become a family and are planning their future together, there is still secrets between them, secrets that three terrible, jealous women who are waiting in the wings to use against them to tear them apart and to make sure this time it's for good. "I am meant for Tristan. He knows it and I know it, and that's all that matters. But these forces continue to try to tear us apart, and I'm suddenly terrified" Can Tristan and Tessa find a way through everything and everyone trying to stop them from being happy and finally be together? Or will secrets from their past ruin everything they've created and the future they long for? Read No Mistake now to find out! I LOVED No Mistake and I cannot wait for the final book especially after that cliff-hanger! I'm also hoping they'll be no more cliff-hangers in this series, because they make me want to throw my kindle and it could become very expensive!! No Mistake and the whole Vegas Aces: The Wide Receiver series is the perfect example of why Lisa Suzanne will always be a favourite author for me, her books have characters that you can't help falling for, side characters you hope will get their own book, storylines that keep you gripped from the very beginning and especially with No Mistake she makes you question whether they'll ever get their HEA, what more could you want?! I received an arc of No Mistake and I am voluntarily leaving my review.
No Mistake (Vegas Aces: The Wide Receiver #4) by Lisa Suzanne is part four of a five-part contemporary second-chance sports romance serial and ends with a cliffhanger. The story follows the relationship between pro footballer Tristan Higgins and his first love Tessa Taylor—the girl next door, his high school sweetheart, and the one who got away.
This book picks up where the previous one ended with Tessa out of town and with Tristan trying to reach her but having no luck. The situation hits too close to the last time Tessa left without returning, and Tristan struggles with his feelings about the past while he waits for her to come back. Together, they’re happy and moving forward with plans for their shared future, but they both still have secrets they’re holding back. Will they finally open up to each other or will they keep hiding the truth? What will happen if their secrets are exposed? Will their relationship survive?
I loved part four of Tristan and Tessa’s story! This installment delivers all the feels while it ramps up the tension in preparation for the final book. The mystery of Stephanie’s odd behavior is finally resolved when she and Tessa hash things out and begin to form a genuine connection. Things are good between Tristan and Tessa as they build a life together, but in the background there’s a growing sense of foreboding—a feeling that something terrible will happen to ruin everything. Of course, that something or rather someone terrible makes their move, leaving us with a whopper of a cliffhanger. I loved it! This installment is emotional, steamy, funny, sweet, and suspenseful. I can’t wait to find out how it all ends in Favorite Mistake.
No Mistake, Vegas Aces: The Wide Receiver book four by Lisa Suzanne is the book that sets the stage for the final book, My Favorite Mistake which will release on November 17th. Tessa returns from visiting her friend talking to her former lover about signing away all parental rights despite his wife’s insistence to not do that. Tristen, with some prodding, does reveal and explain his secrets to Tessa. Tessa holds back her seventeen-year-old secret about having his baby out of fear of losing Tristen. Drama abounds with Tessa’s stepsister Stephanie acting stalkerish as well as someone impersonating her on a porn website. Savanna is spewing her poison in hopes of manipulating Tessa from continuing her relationship with Tristan. Tristan is getting texts from an unknown person. Both Tessa and Tristen are both questioning, not their love for the other, but their motives for how serious the relationship should be. The passion is red hot as the attraction never fades, even with Tessa being pregnant. As Tristen and Tessa make plans for taking the next big step in their relationship the three cackling wenches (Savanna, Brandi, and Stephanie) show up with Savanna taking lead to destroying with any means possible. The fallout will be tremendous as No Mistake ends with Tessa crying nearly collapsing while Tristen just stands there with disbelief on his face. My Favorite Mistake, book 5 will climax with the much-awaited HEA to make this another cherished sports series that will be read and reread. Lisa Suzanne is the master of twisted plots and suspense as the story comes together into a beautiful book.
5 stars! Okay, if you thought (like I did) that there was drama in the last one... just you wait!
No Mistake picks up right where Honest Mistake left off. Tessa is gone and Tristan can't get a hold of her. It brings back some of his fears from the last time this happened. While they've admitted they want to be together and want to move forward, secrets are still raging between them. Tessa had a good reason for leaving, but why didn't she let Tristan know in advance? How can they grow when they continue to repeat their mistakes?
Some secrets are revealed in this one... Tristan finally admits some things to Tessa, and we learn SO much more about Stephanie and her weird behavior. But, Tessa still holds back on the big one that she fears will wreck them both. Well, girl, it can't help that you're WITHHOLDING IT.
Tristan and Tessa both start to wonder if they're ready for this relationship. They know they love each other - but are they meant to be serious with each other? Can Tessa believe that Tristan really wants to raise a baby that isn't his? Is Tristan just desperate for a family?
Regardless of their concerns, they bump the wedding up when Tristan's dad reveals he's sick. Oh boy. A wedding before you actually talk and communicate with one another all of your secrets? That is going to end great... and of course, right before the vows are to be said, we get one whopper of a cliffhanger as all the skeletons come out of the closet and right into the wedding.
I don't know how one more book is going to wrap up all this up in a neat bow, but I look forward to reading it!
No Mistake by Lisa Suzanne is the fourth book in the Vegas Aces: The Wide Reciever series which is the continuation of Tristan and Tessa's story.
Tristan and Tessa are finally together and are moving into their new house together. They both want to get married sooner than planned so they decide on a quickie Vegas wedding. Outside forces have other plans tho.
Tristan and Tessa are starting to get closer and closer to their happily ever after, or so we think. Of course, we are left on the edge of our seats wondering what is going to happen next with another crazy cliffhanger.
I felt this book was a little boring and felt like a filler to make the story longer but I am still completely invested in this story, can not wait for the epic conclusion to Tristian and Tessa's story.
4 Maple Leafs for No Mistake which contains... sports (football), small town, second chance, and dual first-person point of view.
Lisa Suzanne does it again!! No Mistake is book #4 in the Vegas Aces: The Wide Receiver series. This series must be read in order. This book, as expected, ends in another epic cliffhanger! These endings just keep getting better and better!
Tessa and Tristan are moving right along with their new lives, even though Tessa seems to have some doubts about whether or not Tristan just wants to save her. I mean, would someone like Tristan really want to marry her and raise another man's child? Tristan is getting some weird text messages that foreshadow trouble ahead, but he decides not to worry too much about them. Tristan is also conflicted about telling Tessa about Coax, although he introduces punishment into their relationship which brings it to a whole new level. Someone is impersonating Tessa online, which brings a lot of stress into their lives. Is it Stephanie? What about Tiffany or even Savannah?
Secrets seem to be rearing their ugly heads all through this series. I love how the characters are developed throughout the series, and I look forward to reading each new book in a series. I can't wait to see which player we get introduced to next!! All of these players are hot, hot, hot!! As with all of Lisa Suzanne's books, this one is very hard to put down. I tend to read all of her books in one sitting. The conclusion of the series is just a few short weeks away! I. Can't. Wait.
I was given an Advance Review Copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
No Mistake is inching us just a little closer to that happy ending that has to come for Tristan and Tessa but it still isn't quite there yet. This is book 4 of the Vegas Aces: The Wide Receiver series by Lisa Suzanne- and like books 1-3 in this series it ends in an anxiety inducing cliffhanger and it's a must for this series to be read in order.
When Honest Mistake ended, my mind came up with all sorts of explanations or thoughts of what was going to come next- but in reality it wasn't as dramatic as my mind made it 😆 I will say though- with this being the last book before the conclusion, with each chapter I could feel the tensions rising for an ending that left me brimming with all the feels.
With every book, Tessa and Tristan seem to take one step forward two steps back and to the side. Every hurdle is then met with a new twist and I love it just as much as I hate it! We all knew that the secrets these two were holding back were going to release themselves in a spectacular motion and I'd say that Lisa fulfilled that order perfectly. I absolutely love T & T's love. The connection they share has transcended the time, distance and struggles between them- and while Tessa might have been thrown a bit with some of Tristan's confessions, I think that connection has only continued to solidify.
But that ending! I need book 5, Favorite Mistake, now! I just can't wait to see how Lisa is going to wrap up all the hurt, drama and more so that these two can finally get the happy ending they were denied their first time around.
No Mistake Finally, things seem to be going well with Tristan and Tessa. Tessa and Tristan are still keeping secrets from each other and they can be heartbreaking and damaging to any relationship. It is hard to be in the spotlight and everything that you do is photographed and cataloged. Secrets will be revealed! They both love each other so much. Tristan feels that this is his chance to have a family. He is such a thoughtful man. Tessa struggled with Cam Foster’s wife telling her they should take and raise the baby. Tessa goes to Chicago and confronts Cam. He agrees to sign the papers. Will this come back to haunt them and will paternity come out? Tristan buys Tessa her dream home in Fallon Ridge. They are looking forward to moving in together to start their life. Stephanie, her half-sister keeps showing up. She styles her hair like Tessa, does almost everything like Tessa. Then there is a ‘JustFans’ video that features a naked Tessa. It is not Tessa in the video, could it be Stephanie? Tristan finds out that his dad’s cancer has returned. They decide to move up the wedding date to include his dad. They are at the Wedding about to say their vows and in walks Savannah the ex-wife, Brandi from the sex club Coax and Tiffany. Those women are snakes! Savannah unloads a huge secret about why Tessa left Fallon Ridge. Tristan and Tessa need to catch a break from all the emotional drama. Life is crazy. I am so looking forward to the final book. You can’t put this book series down. These characters just grab you and fold you into their story.
When Honest Mistake ended the way it did, I immediately had a couple thoughts going through my head. Obviously I can't say them, because spoilers. BUT in No Mistake we find out what happened with all of that. I am thankful that the scenarios I had playing out in my head were 100% wrong.
This book was a major turning point in Tristan and Tessa's story. We find out things about Stephanie. We find out more about Coax. We find out more about that social media account that is impersonating one of our main characters. There is so much revealed in this book. It's mind blowing.
We may have found out a lot of information, but that doesn't mean it was drama free. Oh not by any means. Especially if that ending was any indication. And of freaking course that cliffhanger had to involve that trio. UGH.
I need to read Favorite Mistake immediately so I can see Tristan and Tessa FINALLY get their happily ever after. Also so help me if Savannah doesn't get what's coming for her...THAT WOMAN!
No Mistake and No Joke!! Having talked and resolved the issues from the last book, Tristan and Tessa are still fully onboard with their plans their love is still burning brightly, everything is good! Or is it? Tristan really steps up and shows us the man amazing man he is and has been freaking amazing, he takes everything in his stride and is always so positive that they belong and will be together, he will do anything and everything to make their dreams come true. I feel so sorry for Tessa, she is in such a difficult place, her fears of losing Tristan, knowing so many want to knock them apart, yet she steels herself and battles through. More than ever, Tessa is realizing how public some parts of Tristans life can be, how much the public adore him, and these are the things that make Tessa hesitate, with revealing some secrets about their time apart. I really fear for her secrets to be revealed to Tristan by anyone but herself. I found this book to be the most emotional, I was on tinder hooks the whole time, the vultures are circling, led of course by Savanna, and I really felt so tense waiting for the crash! OMG THE TENSION! Lisa Suzanne HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO US! Just when I was beginning to fall so deeply, just when I was smugly wrapped in Tristan and Tessa being the love that nothing can touch, .. I now fear so much for them!!
As we come screaming around the bend in this saga, so much is becoming clearer. Our key characters Tristan and Tessa are recommitting themselves to their lives together by pushing up the wedding date, however the forces that have been breaking them apart have also come into focus more clearly. Tessa’s half-sister’s motivation is revealed (although her dislike for Tristan hasn’t been cleared up), Cam’s wife’s drive for his parental rights have been explained. BUT…Tessa and Tristan have their own reasons for keeping secrets to themselves. I did find myself ready to leap through the book and push Tessa along, as her secret really “outweighed” his, but the way things came out was certainly emotionally heavy. We love these main characters and their desire to lead their lives together in the nature they imagined so many years ago. They have good intentions, but are young and sometimes wrapped up in their own heads, not thinking things through. That’s wisdom through maturity, something they need to gain along with mutual trust—and we are watching this all unfold as they make efforts toward their HEA. I’ve recommended this series from the start, and continue to hold my breath as our No Mistake characters try to overcome the adversity in their lives to discover whether what they have will overtake the emotional heartache of this book’s cliffhanger
Such a roller coaster of emotions wondering and hoping that Tristan and Tessa tell each other all of their secrets! The book starts off with Tessa in Chicago and Tristan wondering why she’s there and if she left him again. He can’t get ahold of her (we found out she had to get a new phone and she doesn’t remember her passwords) and he’s worried. In the meantime, she’s staying at Sara’s and is going to visit Dr. Cam about signing the papers Tristan’s lawyer sent him. That gets settled and they’re reunited. Now they can focus on their new house, planning for the baby, and getting married. Seems simple, right? Tessa is thrown a baby shower at their new house with people she’s not comfortable with seeing (Stephanie, Aunt Jane, & Tiffany). Tessa confronts Stephanie about impersonating her and it seems like they’ve worked out their differences. On to Vegas to get married! They run into Brandi and Tristan is forced to reveal his secret about Coax. We think Tessa is going to tell him about their baby she gave up for adoption but is interrupted. If she would’ve just gotten to tell him because it comes out at the worst time possible!! We’re left wondering if Tristan will forgive her and if they’ll go through with the wedding. I can’t wait to see what happens in the final book in T and T’s story!
Tristan and Tessa are so close to their HEA but there is always something or someone that comes between them. Tessa leaves home for Chicago without letting Tristan know to finally get Cameron to sign the papers. When Tristan arrives back home and doesn't find Tessa he freaks out and believes she's left him again. He calls and leaves messages for Tessa but none are responded to. Once Tessa gets Cameron to agree on giving her full custody she gets in her car and heads back home. She arrives and tells Tristan what happened and why she couldn't contact him. After that everything is going great for them. Days go on and Tessa begins to get an idea of her and Tristan getting married in Vegas. Once she talks to Tristan about why she thinks getting married is a good idea, he agrees. Tristan gets everything set up and soon both he and Tessa are on a plane to Vegas. They arrive in Vegas and neither of them can believe they're going through with it. Tristan and Tessa take a walk down the strip and Tessa gets an example of what Tristan's life is like. She becomes to get nervous and soon secrets that they were both keeping hidden come out. How is Tristan going to react when he learns about Tessa's secret? Will Tessa lose the chance she had with Tristan? I received a free copy of this book and reviewed it voluntarily.
So I received a copy of this amazing arc and literally read it in 24 hrs straight. Yes it’s just that good !!! If you Have yet to read this awesome series stop right now as this is the fourth installment of Tristan And Tessa’s emotional journey and your definitely going to want to start at the first book . I don’t want to give any details away or spoilers but what I will say is that every time I pick up one of Lisa Suzanne’s books I am just completely Blown away ,, she has this way of knowing just how to write a story that grabs onto all your emotions so tightly and pulls at your heartstrings in ways you won’t be expecting. Her characters are all so likable and relatable as well as unique and very multi layered that you really cannot. Help but to find yourself becoming more and more invested in their journeys . I was literally on the edge of my seat the entire time feeling so many different emotions ( it really was like being on a emotional rollercoaster) not to mention all the sleep I lost ( why you ask ? Well it’s simple , because once I started No Mistake I was 100% hooked and could not put it down, it’s that simple !!’ Lisa Suzanne has once again exceeded all my expectations and delivered another home run !!
No Mistake is the 4th book of a 5 book series the story of a wide receiver from the Vegas Aces football team. At the end Honest Mistake book 3. Tess goes to Chicago to confront Cam after his wife shows up ripping up the papers for him to give up his parental rights to their baby. Tristian cuts short his divorce Party in Vegas. Tristian arrives home and can't find or get ahold of Tess and is freaking out thinking that this is like the first time she left him. Tess returns home and explains that she dropped her phone in the toilet and didn't know anyone's phone numbers. Tess does ask Tristian about Tiffany and he tells her the truth and Tess is about to tell him about her secret from 7 years ago but gets interrupted. They get the house ready and move in then they decide to go to vegas to get married and as Tessa is walking down the aisle the three women trying to tear them apart disrupt the wedding and his ex wife tells him about the Secret Tessa has kept from him but has tried to tell him and always get interrupted. Hurt and disbelief for Tristian Can love bring them back together? find out in the final book My favorite mistake. This is a can't stop reading series. I received a ARC for my review
“It wasn’t until you came back into my life that I found myself again.”
No Mistake continues Tristan and Tessa’s fight to overcome their past in order to have a future together. While they are beginning to build a life together, old fears and insecurities are coming to the surface for both of them. Will they tear them apart in the end?
“As long as her hand is planted firmly in mine, we can get through anything.”
I love watching the playful and tender moments that Tristan and Tessa have in this installment, but you can feel that all of the secrets they have been hiding are just waiting in the background to tear apart their happy reunion. It seems like they always take one step forward and a three steps back. Add in the fact that they are still fighting against outsiders who want to ruin their relationship and tear them apart.
“I’ve invested everything into her. She owns my entire soul, and that means she has the power to destroy it. To destroy me.”
I’m on pins and needles for the conclusion to their story. Will they be able to come back from all the mistakes and secrets of their past or it will it finally tear them apart forever? I can’t wait to find out.
Lisa Suzanne’s Vegas Aces: Wide Receiver book 4 No Mistake ends with the last CLIFFHANGER of the series. I really despise them, but I keep coming back for more 🤷♀️. We find out why Tessa left for Chicago at the end of book 3. Does it involve Cam & his wife or the first baby? They move into the house on the corner and are happily planning their future together. They get news about Tristan’s dad, see the OB to check on her and the baby and go to Vegas. At one point or another they each think/feel they should tell their secrets, but only some of them are shared. Tessa has couple talks with her half sister. Tristan and Tessa are in contact with Tristan’s lawyer and the local cop. They are worried about the impersonation of Tessa on a web page. They both get calls and texts, some anonymous some not, all leaving T&T feeling uneasy. They are meant to be together so is a wedding in the future or will it not happen at all because of the meddling b**ches that won’t leave them alone? I can’t wait for book 5 where T&T should get their HEA that is long overdue, and hopefully Karma pays some people a visit. And we finally find out motives.
Ok on one hand I’m extremely happy that Stephanie was not done psycho and that hopefully they will now have some kind of relationship. Also loved that she got that ahole Cam to sign the isostasia and hopefully hit him out of the way completely. But now we have this crazy person impersonating her on that website and these crazy psycho women banding together to stop them from being together at all costs. However what really made me super angry and annoyed is the freaking fact that Tessa still has kept the fact that they have a freaking child together out there when she had had plenty and I mean plenty of chances to tell him. I mean come the hell on she had no freaking excuse to have not told Tristan the truth about what happened. It’s not like she did it out of malice she was forced and he has been nothing but understanding. Ugh to say I’m extremely annoyed by this is an understatement but I need to know what happens next and wharves the end game for these three psycho women and what they want and I really hope they get what they deserve.
