The photographs are very attractive, and those with the step-by-steps are almost ridiculously pedantic, but there isn't consistent information on how to care for these plants. Low water? Direct light? Typical heights? Propagation? Mostly, this book shows you how to create very specific, beautiful, overstuffed succulent displays. Eye candy, for sure, but I was a bit disappointed in this Tuttle publication. I usually get much more useable information out of their books.
