The Kyoto school trip arc was equal parts adorable and second-hand embarrassing, and I loved every second of it. Akabane finally trying to make a genuine apology to Tabata was a long time coming, and I’m glad it didn’t feel forced or overly dramatic. He’s still awkward, but there’s growth there. We also get to see Keisuke again after so so long (I missed him T_T)!! He makes a hilariously good impression on Tabata's father, makes me feel that Yosuke would have too if he weren't Tabata's boyfriend lol.
One of my favorite moments this volume was Yousuke finally clearing up the whole secret relationship situation, both for themselves and with Tabata’s parents. I don’t like the hiding relationships-thing in general, but when there's an honest, well-explained reason behind the choice—and it's not rooted in selfishness or fear—it feels different. That level of maturity and clarity made Yousuke about 1000% more attractive.
Sumire and Gotanda are always really fun to see interaction-wise. The sister is such a menace, I love it.
The basketball game's unexpected ending had me shocked. Iriya knows now (O-O). I'm not sure how to feel, but he really is a nice guy, so I know it will be alright, but the couple's days of secrecy are definitely coming to an end sooner rather than later...
