We were sent into the mouth of hell . . .
Okay, that was a little dramatic, but it sure felt true. And we weren’t sent, we went willingly. When Ryker’s friend Georgette was killed, she gave us information that led us to a sex trafficking ring. Georgette begged us to save her children from her ex husband but as she lay dying she was only able to give us so much information.
The sex trafficking had been a surprise. So had the nanny.
We didn’t know that Georgette’s sister had gotten a job as the nanny to her niece and nephew, or that Georgette and her sister Lexi had a plan to get the kids safe when the time was right.
What we knew was that there were two innocent children who were being held for ransom by their asshole father. The father who had abused their mother and kicked her out with barely the clothes on her back.
Lexi -
I was living in hell . . .
I could leave at any time, but I stayed. I stayed because there were two children here who depended on me. They didn’t know who I really was to them but that didn’t matter just yet.
When my sister got the money to buy her children back from her ex, we would go somewhere safe and they would know that they were my niece and nephew. That I was their aunt, not just their nanny.
All I had to do was stay out of the disturbing, perverted clutches of their father.
I could do that. I could and I would, because that is what I had to do.
And then Creed arrived and he brought with him salvation and freedom. Even if he wasn’t the most perfect specimen of manhood, I might love him forever anyway.

Good book
This author is new to me but she reminds me of Jessica Gadzialda if that is how you spell it. Snarky women and hot guys protective instincts and some steamy scenes and the bad guys die..good times

It's okay
This book says it's the first in a series but it really doesn't read like one. This is more like a middle of the series book. Way too many references to other characters and we the readers are supposed to already know those characters.

Ahhh loved it!!
Creed was always the quiet one. Learning more about him and his team has been awesome. And makes me want to know more!!

The Four Horseman are on a job to rescue Gina kids. But finds so much more in there Nanny Lexi. She's there for the kids and on this horrible place she finds ❤️ love.
