This second book of the duet by Amber Nicole is nothing short of amazing. I laughed, I cried, and I literally cheered. Perfect conclusion!

So, I'm not going to give away any spoilers, but I will say this... Someone *ahem* gets what's coming to them (yep, not even gonna say if this "someone" is male or female. You gotta read it to see.

But those of you who read book one know what I'm talking about! ;-)

I can't wait to see what Amber writes next! Grab a copy of this to conclude or start with book one for an amazing story. You won't regret it.

Trigger warning if you need it. Def recommend!

I love this author. I do.... But this series was hard to get through. It would have been better as a triple book instead of stuffing it full of tons of issues... It was too much to follow. If you have the ability to separate everything into single stories then yes, it's enjoyable.
I feel bad saying anything against this author.

Truth or fall

To be honest, it was an ok read. Idk I feel like something was missing. It didn't have that excitment that it did in the first book. Still a good read

Amber Nicole really flips the switch in the second book. In Fallen Memories, my heart broke for Gracie. In Truth or Fall I really broke for Ash. Not that I didn't feel any sympathy for Gracie, because I did, it's just I've been in Ash's position before having to care for someone that uses pills and alcohol to not feel so I felt really connected to him in this book.

In Fallen Memories, I felt like Ash didn't grovel enough for the messed up crap he put Gracie through, but Amber Nicole makes up for that in Truth or Fall! You see Ash's guilt from what he did and he tries to make up for it all.

Anonymous really brings the suspense. Anonymous is terrible, not to be trusted.

This duet if full of angst and emotion! I highly recommend this duet!

I loved this book. Drama..woah! These two could never catch a break and worked hard for their happy ending. I really want to know all the crazy things that happened with Mia, and the background because we never find out. That’s the only hole that I found, but I believe there’s a novella coming out for her and it’ll all be revealed then. Gracie forgave everyone for keeping that from her because it’s seriously twisted. Mia had some major mental health issues, and I’m hoping that her novella shows how twisted she is and her issues. Anonymous comes back!! Our stalker is seriously twisted, and I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. The possessiveness , the alpha mentality that Ashton has, and the ability to forgive..woah. This book is the total package. I’m excited to see more from this author. If you’re frustrated at any point about the shades of gray around Mia..know there are reasons for it. I’m so excited to read more from Amber Nicole...because I felt everything in this duet. Every kick, every insult, every hurt...I definitely cried during their love story. HEA was hard won and I’m here for it.

Prepare yourself because Truth or Fall has absolutely broken my heart and pieced it back together one page at a time. The conclusion is absolutely breathtaking and this story is mesmerising. The twists, turns & heart shattering moments leave you breathless!

"𝓒𝓪𝓷 𝔀𝓮 𝓯𝓲𝓷𝓭 𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓽𝓻𝓾𝓽𝓱 𝓸𝓻 𝓲𝓼 𝓲𝓽 𝓽𝓲𝓶𝓮 𝓽𝓸 𝓽𝓪𝓴𝓮 𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓯𝓲𝓷𝓪𝓵 𝓯𝓪𝓵𝓵?"

Ashton & Gracie's love is raw, real love and their connection will PULL every inch of your heart. I am absofrigginloutley speechless but swooning over Ashton. The growth of these characters its unfrigginreal and I've never felt so attached!🥰

The additional side characters are instrumental to this journey & I've found myself in love with them too! Dom and Hope absolutely filled my heart with love, joy and laughter as a couple!❤

I found myself thinking about this book even when I was working due the emotional attachment you instantly pick up with characters from book one! This is one hella a journey and will give you all the damn feels. Amber Nicole absolutely nailed this rollercoaster journey.

I thought Amber Nicole destroyed my feelings in book 1, nope she crushed my heart and put it back together with this book!

I love the twist and turns in this final book of the duet, what major characters growth especially for Gracie that poor girl went through hell and back in both books!

Amber Nicole has a way with words that sucks you in and refuses to spit you out til you finish reading the very last word! I screamed for Gracie and Ash, I cried for them and I cheered for Gracie you know the part I’m talking about 😉

Amber Nicole has become my one click author and I’m dying to see what she’s going to write next! This book does have a trigger warning but if you can push past them you won’t regret it!

Seriously dealing with a major book hanger-over now, run don’t walk to Amazon and grab your copy of both Fallen Memories and Truth or Fall to find out does Gracie and Ash get their HEA

Sitting here debating on whether or not to give this incredible book 4 or 5 stars. Amber Nicole had put my heart through a blender and pieced it back together.

I was thrilled for this second book on Gracie and Ash's story. I was quickly sucked in and felt every single emotion possible. I felt angry and hurt, mostly. I had to stop reading a few times, when the tears started to fall (ok, more like uncontrollable sobbing). I didn't think I'd be able to finish this story, and I was only half way through at the time, but I am so happy I did. After all the pain and trauma Ash and Gracie suffered, by each other and not, they got through it together. They overcame huge obstacles and started a family after everything. The love I felt for their relationship at the end was amazing. A perfect end to their dark past.

OMG this book was full on from he beginning. Crazy Bianca with her Anonymous letter and texts. I can’t believe she was that obsessed with Ash. Just when Ash and Gracie were getting back on track here she come and gaslights her. Ash knew something was wrong but didn’t know what. When they had that fight and left of course At used that as her opportunity to make it look like they slept together. Poor Ash having all this guilt for nothing. I can not believe Ava/Bianca took it the extreme that she did. Thank god for Gray going to check on her. I am so happy once she found out she was pregnant she accepted and embraced the idea. Her group helped her so much. Just when thing get back on track here comes crazy ass Bancroft again. I’m glad Gracie killed her she needed to die. This was an amazing and heartbreaking book. I am so glad it had a HEA.

A lovely follow up to the first book what i loved most was Gracie and Ash are still struggling. No one can go through what they have and come out magically perfect and whole and Amber really grasps that. We get to see Ash grow, not just as a husband but as a man and a front row seat as Gracie first spirals and then rebuilds herself.

Of course this duo can't catch a break and outside influences try their hardest to destroy not just their marriage but their lives. I really loved the inventive ways the stalker worked.

Again I would have liked to see this slightly slower paced. Maybe fleshed out some and turned into a trilogy. I don't doubt Amber is off to great things as she finds her stride as an author. Can't wait for Dom and Hopes book :D

A great end to the duet.

At points I wanted to yell at Ash and Grace to just talk! That’s how invested you get in the characters. The different POVs help deepen how we feel about the characters.

The complexities surrounding mental health and addiction are really well described and add to the beautiful story. The twists and turns make us want Grace and and Ash to succeed.

The only reason for not five stars, you need to have read the first book not long before you start the second. I had to go back and reread it to fully understand the beginning few chapters.

Would definitely recommend if you like contemporary romance novels that have many twists and turns.

Truth or Fail is the follow-up to Amber's literary debut and the second book in the Forbidden Truths duet.

This book was jam-packed with very heavy subject matter, including alcohol and prescription medication abuse, stalking, cheating and mental health issues. But it was balanced with Ash and Gracie’s undeniable love for each other, even when they were struggling.

It was a little slow and repetitive at times. However, I did find myself thinking, seriously? Why? Come on, and they just can’t catch a break. I swear Amber hated Gracie. But this just proves how good the story is.

I'm so proud of Amber for taking the chance to write this series. Congratulations! Definitely a must-read.

This was the continuation I needed for Gracie and Ash's story. Book one broke us and made us fall in love with Gracie. Somehow Ash too. It felt so wrong to root for someone who was so bad for so long but you knew there had to be more to that story.
Book two had a different feel to it. Trying to love Gracie through her trauma and consequences of said trauma. There was heartache, suspense, angst and grief. I devoured this book in two days. I'm ashamed how much I teared up. haha. I don't want to spoil too much of the story but I can tell you, you wont regret picking this one up (or the first if you haven't started the series).

I received an ARC of this book to review and I really enjoyed it. I tell you what, Ash and Gracie go through some crap through out their relationship man. Its one blow after another for them, yet they kept coming back stronger every time. It really showed the true love they had for each other. The struggles they went through were so real too. The emotions you got from their story being so relatable was rough but at the same time inspiring to see how they came out the other side. Very good read and I can't wait to see what else this author puts out.

If I could give it more than 5 stars I would.
Amber Nicole has sent me on an absolute Rollercoaster of emotions. Their love story is so raw, the connection Gracie and Ashton have is unbelievable. The The twists, turns moments of utter shattering. It pulled me apart and then pieced me back together again. I cried so many tears over this story. I felt a real connection to the characters which is rare but especially for a new author. Can not want to read what Amber Nicole produces for us next.

Amber Nicole smashed the concluding part to the duet. Perfection. It had me gripped and yelling all the way through. Filled with masterful suspense as well as the heat and the moments that make you swoon, it keeps you gripped until the very end. Gracie and Ash's story is by no means over! I did want to shake Gracie at points but ultimately my heart was breaking for her and I wasn't sure what to believe at points in the story. The introduction of Anonymous was genius, evil genius, and you will be blindsided when you find out who it is. Can't recommend enough.

Ahhh this was everything I could have hoped for! All of the questions I had from Fallen Memories were answered and I really appreciated the growth of both Ashton and Gracie in this book. I thought each one as an individual continued to develop and grow stronger which overall strengthened their entire relationship in the end. However, I was not expecting that plot twist..you know the one, but I loved it! This book made me feel all sorts of happy and I can’t wait to see what’s next!

I loved this both books, it’s a heartbreaking HEA. Gracie and Ash went through hell to survive their marriage, but in the end they got their HEA. It’s a fast read, I enjoyed all the characters, Gracie abuses her anxiety pills and some alcohol abuse. It puts her and Ash marriage on the rocks, Bianca/Ava gives them a lot of problems, Gracie was able to reconcile with her brother Gray. I highly recommend these 2 books.

What a fantastic book two! Amber handles Gracies depression and dependence on pills so well! I really felt the emotions of her character. And that dang Ava/ B..... man! I just wanted to slap her! I loved Hope And Dom! And Ash was kinda selfish in some parts....but most young guys are. The whole book was so well written and had all of the feels! I was even more emotional reading this book then the first one. It's just fantastic!!

This book was an amazing read that will grab you and not let you go not matter what. The pace at which it moves along is perfect being neither too fast nor too slow. The characters are so real and you cannot help but fall in love with them and you want to see them succeed no matter what. The story will keep you reading and turning pages till the end and then you are wanting more. This book has to be read, no doubts at al about that.

What a fabulous conclusion to Gracie and Ash’s story. The emotional pain they are both going through is beautiful written. The struggle with addiction and depression with how it effects the marriage was realistic. The crazy stalker thrown in the story just made this a book I didn’t want to put down. Loved how they were finally able to work through everything and get their happy ending.

What an emotional roller-coaster ash and gracies story is. The conclusion to their heartbreaking, traumatic beautiful love story is phenomenal. There is so many twist and turns you don't see coming that has you on the edge of your seat. I highly recommend this series but be warned there are some triggering issues like addiction and depression.

This ending book to the Fallen Memories duet was amazing! Grace and Ash have learned and grown so much from the first book. The characters are well rounded and you really feel the emotions change from one chapter to the next.

I can't wait to read the novellas from this author once they are released!

This was a great second book. A wonderful continuation of Gracie and Ash’s story. A rollercoaster of emotions. You will laugh, cry, scream and cry again with joy. You can see the growth of the main character from book one and throughout this book. There is much angst as they have their troubles but the end is pure joy. I look forward to more from Amber Nicole.

Amazing follow up to Fallen Memories!

After all the awful things Ash put Gracie through he is dedicated to making things right. Gracie struggles with addiction due to the trauma she has been though.

They both fight to overcome all the challenges anonymous throws at them.

This was a serious page turner with wonderful well written characters.

Much better than the first book, but it was frustrating how a major plot point was left unfinished. The whole story of the H’s sister was the catalyst to the first book and here it was just mentioned in passing. I would love to know all the secrets the other characters are keeping from the h. The main reason why I could let this go is because the author mentioned she’s coming out with 2 more sequels: the best friends and (supposedly) the sister.

The first book is so good, but this one takes the cake! I loved the suspense and family love moments. I am still shocked that the villain from last returned and is more cruel than ever, the awful thing is that there are people like that in real life all the time.
