Nancy Rogers’ life was going great. She had the most beautiful woman she had ever known as her girlfriend, her books were selling off and bringing her the big bucks, and she lived in a penthouse in New York City. She couldn't ask for anything better.

Then everything crashed. Her girlfriend suddenly and rudely breaks up with her, leaving a hole in her heart she believes can never heal.

Abandoning her life in the city, a broken-hearted Nancy relocates to the New Hampshire, trying to start life afresh. However, life without Audrey in it is unbearable, and she goes into the nearby forest, determined to end it all.

Nirkari is a wolf shifter. She is singled out and bullied by her packmates because of her inability to find a mate at her age. She resigns herself to a life of singleness, until she saves a human, Nancy, trying to take her own life. Nirkari takes one look at her and knows she's found the one, but will she be able to convince Nancy that they are meant to be together even if she's only half human?

I see potential here! I really do. It just needs a heavy edit, a good proof read and a chance for character development. Also, add on about 250 pages to flesh it out and it’s perfect! I enjoyed it in all its 39 page glory.

Very basic and fast paced story. It tries to add in depth, but it's in odd ways like a molestation story line that goes nowhere. Suicidal ideation that again never gets addressed. Then insta mates; drawn to one another, and will make it work - no matter the odds and issues established.

Just didn't delve deep enough, or had enough work put in.

I'm a sucker for a shifter romance so I enjoyed the mates finding one another. The writing is a bit choppy, a lot of grammatical errors, very much needs an editor/beta reader to clean up the issues. It reads like a fanfiction, and as this author hones their skills, finds their voice, the shifter stories will only get better. Interesting plot, just a bit hamfisted in its execution.

Just finished this one. A cute and sexy lesbian read. Not sure if I will re-read it in the future, but glad I gave it a chance. It was short yet a great read :)
