Tedious from start to finish!! She sounds like she has been a genuine Dominatrix but all the book does is recount in a very matter of fact and dull way some of her sessions, pretend thoughts from slaves and it is in no way well written, thought inspiring or exciting. You'd expect from a title like this to get some sexual excitement or titillation but it's written as dully as if you were reading the guardian newspaper. Sorry just didnt do it for me at all

Se qualcuna di quelle sgallettate, e non, che ama la saga di Fifty Shades definisce quei tre aborti BDSM, allora che non legga questo, potrebbe rimanerci molto male.
Ho comprato questo libro praticamente per caso (diciamo pure che avevo fretta di concludere un affare e avevo bisogno di qualcosa per arrotondare), e devo dire che ho cominciato a leggerlo con molto interesse, anche se a tratti ho dovuto staccarmi perché non è proprio il mio genere.
Esperienze di una Dominatrice non è un romanzo, bensì una specie di autobiografia di Princess Spider, famosissima Dominatrice del Regno Unito che in queste pagine ha voluto raccogliere i suoi pensieri, storie, racconti, aneddoti, raccontandoci in breve il suo stile di vita.
Leggendo questo libro si viene a contatto con la realtà sadomaso, scoprendo che moltissimi libri o film che si fregiano di questa descrizione sono in realtà surrogati o peggio, invenzioni che con questa corrente hanno davvero poco a che fare, così come persone che si divertono a scrivere ficcyne non hanno la minima idea di cosa stiano parlando veramente.
Attraverso i capitoli pian piano scopriamo che la realtà BDSM è molto più complessa e molto meno sessuale di quel che la maggioranza della gente potrebbe pensare: l’autrice si premura più volte di spiegare che il rapporto tra Dominatrice e Schiavo non dev’essere qualcosa di malato o morboso, di indifferente e finalizzato soltanto al sesso, ma è qualcosa di più profondo che si basa integralmente sulla fiducia, sulla capacità di entrare in sintonia, di preoccuparsi e di mantenere un equilibrio mentale perfetto in modo da non causare danni, fisici ma soprattutto psicologici.

Princess Spider talks about her experiences as a dominatrix, mainly focusing on her different 'slaves' and what she does with them. Interspersed within her memoirs are statements from these various slaves who explain why they need to be dominated and their various experiences. Princess Spider wrote the book to dispel the myths that surround the slave/mistress relationship, specifically the sexual angle. Quite an eye-opener but some descriptions were rather eye-watering.

Fabulous read, a gripping life, of torment and pleasure, Princess Spider shares her experiences, and I`m glad to say I have seen her, and she is the greatest, mind player of them all. I recommend this book and if you have the time, you should email her after the brilliant read, she always responds to questions and feedback....A must have book...

Thought provoking and insightful, not pornographic (not that I don't like pornography) as poronography is not the point of the book.
