Nines' Time
Innocence comes in several different ways, for her and for me. Nines Accused of something so vile, I’ve got to find a way to prove I’m not the one they’re looking for. I didn’t do it, and they know it. On top of that, she steps into my life, more like stumbles. Time stops with one look at her, and I see the vulnerability in her eyes. I don’t have it in me to go for what I want, not when I’ve got this hanging over my head. But I can’t let her go either. She’s mine for the taking. But will she believe me when it comes to the truth?

The second book in the Tennessee Devil's Riot book is Nines story. I think Nines story took a step up in the action. This is 4.5 stars in my opinion.
Nines is in trouble and this story picks up from Blow's Smoke. He's been accused of something horrible and they all know it's a set up they just don't know who is pulling the strings or why. He's determined to get to the bottom of it and he knows the club will be behind him 100%.
Meadow is new in town and she's hiding from a horrible past. She's befriended by Storm and Chelsea who love her clothes shop. She keeps her distance though being too worried about her past. It's not until the man who took her in when she run away comes to town that she meets the club.
Once they meet they feel something in that instant but between Meadow's past and Nines troubles, they hold back. Nines finds himself drawn to her and her past is an excuse to keep an eye on her and get closer.
Nines was a great character he's the club VP and we hear about his father and his troubles when Blow was named as club Prez. It was good to hear his side and how losing his father really broke something in him. The parallel between Nines accused crimes and the life Meadow was forced into was well done. There are more pieces of the puzzle that leads back to the club. On top of it all, there are pieces dropped relating to the new bad guys 'The Crimson Bloods'.
There are some flaws in the writing but if you can look past some mistakes then the story is worth the read.
I really look forward to watching Lucky and Chelsea work out their feelings next. I think that one could be a whole lot of fun.

Nines knows the charges being bought against him are false but the fear of what will happen if they can't prove it weighs heavy on him. The club lawyer Marcus assures him he'll do everything to make it go away. It only leaves the bigger question though of what is going on and what they are aiming to do. The threats left in regard to Strom's bio father from the Crimson Bloods.
Meadow has moved to the one place she hopes her past won't come looking for her. It might seem like a strange choice but she feels secure and happy. A lot of that is thanks to Gravil, who took her in when she run away and needed a job. He's more like a father to her than her own ever was. She's started to make friends but keeps them at arm's length. Trusting isn't easy for her but Gravil assures her if she needs anything the club will be there for her.
When Nines meets Meadow there is something about her that draws him to her. To see the fear in her eyes and the panic only stirs his protective instincts toward her. When Blow decides they need to know more about her despite the reassurance from the Dragomir's Nines takes it on to get to know her. He knows right away that she is meant to be his.
'Meadow's not like other women. She's special and has a vulnerability surrounding her that makes a man want to wrap his arms around her and protect her from the world. And I intend to be that man.'
Suddenly Meadow finds Nines in her space and where usually she doesn't do well with men around her all the time something about Nines makes her feel things she never has before. Letting herself be open surprises her and Nines is the first man she's trusted in a long time.
"I'm not going to wait to kiss you though. I've been waiting to taste those lips since I first saw you." Just as quickly as he kissed me, he breaks his lips away, presses his forehead to mine, and lets out a breath. "Fuckin' better than I thought it would be."
What she doesn't understand is how Nines can be so sure and know just what she needs. Nines knows what he's got in front of him and he won't make the same mistakes Blow did.
"I'm not a man who doesn't know when he sees something he wants. I'm also not a man who can't tell when a good woman is in front of him and worth claiming. We might not know each other. But we're going to rectify that. We'll take things at your speed on certain things and mine on other things. But I'll tell you now, I'm not giving up on what we can have."
The Crimson Bloods aren't done with the club yet and Meadow's past might have finally caught up with her. The peace Nines has found with Meadow might be destroyed and if she's taken from him it might be enough to really destroy Nines.

NINES’S TIME is the second instalment in EC Land’s contemporary, adult DEVIL’S RIOT MC: TENNESSEE erotic, MC romance series. E.C. Land has brought us Nine's Time, book #2 from her Devil's Riot MC: Tennessee Chapter series and it is awesome. The wait was definitely worth it. E.C. Land has a way of taking women with horrible pasts and tragic lives and turning them into these strengthful fierce warriors that face their pasts head-on. Of course, they have an alpha hottie next to them, encouraging them and she does it again in this book. I have met some of the best book characters in her books since I first started reading her series.
This book is about Nines who's the VP of the Devil's Riot MC and his life has been turned upside down when he is arrested and charged for a crime he didn't commit. At the same time, he meets Meadow. She is a woman who has lived a horrible life until she ran away and found someone she could trust that would protect her. She just opened a chic boutique in town and when she's invited to a bbq at the clubhouse. The second Nines meets Meadow there is an instant attraction. They can both see in each other's eyes that life hasn't been easy so far and they both are haunted. Meadow's never been able to trust a man before until Nines and he never thought he'd find the one. By Meadow meeting Nines her past comes back in full force unlike she ever thought it could. Meadow is family to the club and now that they know about her they vow to protect her. This book doesn't just have the MC's bikers, it has bikers from other chapters, the Romanian mob and even hired mercenaries. They all vow to protect Meadow from the trouble looking for her and they keep that promise. Does Nines get cleared of his false charges? Do they figure out who's behind setting him up? Will Meadow finally accept her new man and the new family she's been given?
I gave this book 5 stars because I don't know how it could be better. I started reading it and couldn't put it down. I was invested in the story and the characters almost immediately. This one does get a 3 spicy rating. It wasn't as steamy as I usually like but it didn't take away from anything. It was perfect for what Meadow needed. You don't have to love MC books to enjoy this book. This book is for anyone who likes to read about a woman finding her power and owning it. I hope at some point we might get a spin-off of Calyx and his hired mercenaries. I think that group could make for some good stories especially tied to the MC. Next up is Lucky's book and boy I can't wait. Chelsea is one of my favorite characters in the series and the pranks she pulls on Lucky. Man, she has it in for him. Or does she?

Nines's Time by E.C. Land is the second installment of the Devil's Riot MC: Tennessee that is full of betrayal, vengeance, abuse, torture, MC drama with plenty of steamy moments. This story is about VP Brick (Nines) Tucker and Meadow's raw and gritty journey and the obstacles they will have to overcome.
Nines, VP of the club is set up for a crime he did not commit, imprisoned and out on bail, he now has to prove his innocence and find the person who set him up, dealing with club drama, consumed with revenge, all of that will mean nothing to him when he encounters the one person who will change his life forever.
Meadow is hiding from demons created by her abusive father, meeting Gravil head of the Romanian Mafia who became her saving grace as he has become a father figure who has kept her safe and secured. Gravil urges her to go to Tennessee to be safe when her past learns where she is, placing her in Nines path along with the Devil's Riot MC. Meadow a boutique owner in town who is hiding, becomes acquainted with some of the ol' ladies of the Devil's Riot MC. When she is invited to the club's BBQ she refuses until her adopted father Gravil steps in and brings her to the BBQ. The instant attraction between her and Nines one they first meet is intense, fast and overwhelming but she is struggling and Nines can tell she is haunted, in order to help her he will claim this woman and become her protector. Can he help this woman who has been battered and abused? Will she believe that he is innocent from a crime he didn't commit? With the chemistry that is between them, Meadow finds she is willing to give Nines a chance, the sexual consummation between them is the beginning of a passionate love that is arousing and intimate. When Gravil arrives at the clubhouse knowing she is in danger, she will discover she is related to Sniper's son Nerd. Love the camaraderie between the characters from (Blow's Smoke) that make for an interesting storyline. The love between these two will be put to the test when Meadow's past comes back with a vengeance and out for blood, placing her and the club in danger. Now she is willing to walk away to save everyone one she loves. Will Nines be able to save the woman he loves in time as he and his brothers are hell bent on eliminating Meadow's father? Once again E.C. Really good but too short.
As usual with this author, we have other peoples chapters when it’s too short anyway. It’s 163 pages, and if you minus Snipers chapter which is 8 pages, that takes it to 155, it’s 65 pages before Nine’s and Meadow even talk to each other, that takes it to 90. Way too short. The other weird thing that this author does, is everyone is flaming related to each other. It’s bizarre that they live in a small town, yet anyone who goes there is related to someone.
At the beginning of the book Nine’s is charged with raping a minor, he’s obviously been set up. This is where it got really confusing, as I have no clue who they are talking about. This person or group, has a vendetta against the club.
Meadow had a horrific childhood, so when she meets Nine’s at the Mc clubhouse, she’s terrified of him at first. Nine’s feels a pull towards her, and I have to say their romance is so sweet. He’s very caring towards her. When Meadow’s past puts her in danger, the Mc vow to protect her.
I did really enjoy this book, but I wish this author wouldn’t jump from series to series. As it’s been a while since I read the first book and I couldn’t remember who anyone was. There are some really funny parts, with Chelsea playing tricks on Lucky. Well worth reading.

I am hooked on this series and it just gets better with each new book and chapters.

Nine has been a no-mad for awhile to get his head on straight after the death of his father. When he comes home the trouble just caught up with him and he is arrested.
When Meadow moves to the town and opens up her boutique, she thinks that her past troubles and danger has been left behind. She has made friends with the ladies of the club and has been invited for a cook-out at the club.
It turns out that she has ties to the club and several of their allies. When Nine sees her he is caught up in her beauty, they=n he gets caught up with her personality.
They and the club take out the trash and makes their ties to their allies even stronger.

Nines (AKA Brick) lost his father to cancer and went nuts for a while, going nomad until he could accept his father's death and his place as a VP in the Devil's Riot MC of Tennessee...he's back now and doing ok, until he got charged on a bogus assault of a minor charge, when there was evidence he wasn't in town at the time...Meadow opened a women's clothing shop in town featuring several of her own designs which could be tailor made for a customer. She had had a traumatic childhood with her father abusing her before he sold her on her eighteenth birthday, so she ran. Until she met her mentor Gavril who was member of the Romanian mob, she shied away from everyone, but he treated her as beloved daughter. Ol' Ladies of MC members discovered Meadow's store, became friends and met Nines at a club event...he was insistent on dating Meadow, not taking no for an answer...but what would happen when her past caught up with her and what could the club find out about her family??? I've been waiting for more from the Tennessee Chapter since Blow and Storm
Meadow ran from her abusive father and after a while landed near the Devil's Riots MC in Tennessee where she opens a store making and selling clothes. Storm and Chelsea quite often frequent it and asks her to a cookout at the compound which she refuses. Nines's story has been slowly building in Blow's prequel and book. Now we find out what's going on and it's intense. In the middle of all the craziness, Nines finds his one in Meadow, a shy boutique owner that recently moved to town. Walking into the clubhouse with Gavril, a man that gave Meadow safety and considers her his daughter as well as being tied to the club, she doesn't realize her life is about to change.
The club learns that Meadow is family and also might be in danger. Nines is determined to learn everything about Meadow and be the man that takes care of her. The chemistry between the two is undeniable and soon they are building a solid bond based on love and respect. I love how accepting both were about everything the other has been through. Nines and Meadow's story is definitely faced paced full of love, passion, heartbreak and healing.

The world of Devil's Riot MC Tennessee continues with Nine's Time. Nine is the VP of the MC and right away he is into.the action. He is accused of an attack on a minor. Since he is under scrutiny, Nine is assigned to get to know the new girl around Storm and Chelsea, and is under the protection of the club. Meadow is new to town and owns a boutique. The club doesn't need any more surprises and Meadow has a lot haunting her.
The action is centers around Meadow. The story is mainly Storm and Meadow building a relationship and sharing secrets. While the world created is intertwined with other series, I want to learn more about these characters. We learn the basic things through their conversations but I'd like more of this.
Overall Nine's Time is a quick read, I enjoy getting further into the lives of the MC. Trigger warnings: this book deals with many traumatic things that happened in the past. Please read the warning and take it seriously. The author does deal with issues sensitively.

It’s been a while coming but well worth the wait.
I liked this series from Blow & Storms stories and have been looking forward to it continuing.
A highly interactive story with lots of characters playing a part in the wider story, this doesn’t detract from Brick or Meadows story. A lot to discover and uncover about each other and themselves, this book does go on rather a journey with them.
You definitely need to have read the preceding books as the underlying series storyline is brought up a lot in this book and it works really well.

Another great book in the Devil’s Riot MC series. Nines’ is accused of a violent crime but he has been set up. When he is released from jail he meets Meadow and straight away there is a fiery instant attraction between them both. It is a fast paced read and you cannot help but love them and their budding relationship. Ms Land has given us so much detail about both their pasts and it helps to put a lot into perspective. Loved the story, loved the characters, loved the passion and drama. You will be hooked!

Struggling to Come Back
Meadow has been through so much in her life already and now she’s afraid of her “father” finding her and continuing with the unthinkable. Now she is under the protection of the Devils Riot MC Tennessee Chapter due to her surrogate father. That is where she and Nine meet and he is insistent on seeing her and protecting her especially after what he finds out.
There are so many twists and turns in this story and it captivated me throughout. I loved the chemistry between Nine and Meadow and the way he protected the woman he came to love. I’m looking forward for more to come from this MC.

Why!?!
What is wrong with me that I like these books!? Honestly I love the build up but with these, there are none. They just see each other & boom in love. I once again expected her to put up some kind of fight or something. Though it works because he was willing to go at her pace. Unless you're familiar with this author's work or you have a secret addiction to things like bad soap operas, don't read. It would be a solid 4 start but All.The.Typos! It drives me crazy that there's so many! Most are pretty obvious. Who proof read these? Again why do I like these?! I may never know, but you guessed it, I'm on to Book 3!

Nines Time is the great fast paced, instaove, quick read of Nines and Meadow. One look was all it took for these two. They're perfect together and Nines will do anything to protect her when her past comes calling.

Meadow had a horrible life until she finally broke free while Nines has been falsely accused of a terrible crime. Meadow keeps to herself but somehow, Nines is able to get past all of her defenses and love her. They still have her past and his alleged crime to deal with but together they can get through anything. E.C. Land doesn't disappoint, this book has hot, steamy sex scenes and a tense, explosive storyline.

A great story, Meadow has not had it easy she is on the run from her father and has landed in the city hoping she is safe there from him. Nines has his own issues with one thing difference he has the club behind his brothers the Devil's Riot MC Tennessee. When he meets Meadow it's love at first sight and won't let her escape, when he knows what she's been through and been through he'll do everything he can to keep her safe and protected and even with the help of the club.

He's being accused of something he didn't do. When these two meet sparks are flying and I was cheering for them to get their happily after. This is the second book in this amazing series, and this is Nine’s and Meadow’s story. Meadow has had a horrific past, and she is on the run from her abusive father, while Nine is a member to the MC, and he has his own share of problems, and not he is being accused of something he did not do. This is a well written story which is action packed, with twist, drama, danger, suspense, intrigue, friendships, family, romance, chemistry, and love, which leads to a steamy page turner.

Where are all these 4 and 5 stars coming from? The book had potential; plot wise it was there. I liked how the fmc got hurt and the mmc saved her BUT the pacing of the whole book was too fast. There’s no chemistry because the author didn’t try to build it up. There’s also no connection between the others as friends or father figures as well. It seemed like riding a roller coaster. Some dialogues were written awkwardly as well, but my biggest problem is definitely the too fast pacing that didn’t make any foundations or connections between the characters and between me and the book

There's different scenerios going on in this book. What Meadow went through no woman should. She ran to a new town to escape her past and found Nines. He was betrayed once as well and is hard to trust again. But he's fasinated with Meadow and wants her for his own, and he will protect her at all costs. Nine and Meadow's story was deep with her past being so dark and twisted. I love the way Nine supports her and builds her up as she is still traumatized by her past and thinks poorly of herself. This series is so good! I love all these characters, now we are starting to see how other groups are being brought into the fold. I hope we have some spin off series. I am very intrigued by some of the new characters that were introduced in this book with the addition of Meadow. But Lucky’s book is going to be amazing!.
