The conflict is nearing its beginning, but Fenrir might not have the time to think about it. Not when a problem of his own bubbles up from underground.
Fenrir continues to learn and grow, all while taking the new Dungeon City of Wolfdenn along with him, but will this pace continue? Or will an unforeseen intrusion throw everything off track?
Shane Purdy is a college graduate with a Bachelors in Computer Science. At a young age he became fascinated with Fantasy books after reading the Wereworld series by Curtis Jobling, which led to a love of reading that continues to this day.
When he was younger you could almost always find him with a book in his hand (when he wasn’t busy with Band activities that is). As he got older, he started reading online webnovels as well. In June of 2021, after reading thousands of books, he decided to take the plunge and write a book of his own, starting with his first series, Dungeon from the Void.
He writes both high and low progression fantasy novels of varying genres, including Dungeon Core, LitRPG, Cultivation, Sci-Fi and more.
He does not use any sort of social media for his books other than Reddit, he has no Facebook pages, and his Facebook account is private and not public. Therefore if anyone finds public Facebook or other social media accounts outside of Reddit or Discord claiming to be him, they are fake.
Not bad read in the series and happy see leveling up speed increased but.
Series very misleading as supposed be about the dungeon but spends more time with offer characters. (So feels like lied too & mislead.)
Wish would not use different colors for boxes and texts like did in end for think says congratulations! You have reached tier 2.??. Not sure as virtually impossible to see on kindle and really hurt my eyes trying.
It's all flow is off, the story just goes on like a run on sentence and goes on. It kinda gets boring, there's no real character development its like yeah they are there and that's about it. Too much happens in a compressed timeline. This goes for the winter wolf series. It would be so much better if it was broken down into series. Say the first set deals with the development instead of mushing it all together. At a certain point it just gets messy and the story plot just goes grey because of the lack of proper development of events. It's like a mad rush and sloppy. I haven't given up I just hope your style improves btw what's up with words like whilst what's the story behind that.
The entire first half is fluff and filler. At no point does any real storyline occur in the entire book. This one feels like it is meant to be a set up book, but it lacks any meaningful details so it just comes off as lazy. The growth feels forced, the politics are dull, and the conflict is muted. Author needs to step back and focus on what kind of story they want to tell.
Entertaining series, I see alot action in the future so I'm looking forward to the rest of the series. I am also reassured by author notes stating that he'll continue with series until completion, one problem I have with a number of self publishing authors is they are not reliable when comes to completing series in a timely manner and they try to have too many series going at once. So I applaud this author for being mindful.
Well, there's certainly a lot of similarities between this series and divine dungeon. It does have enough differences to make it interesting and still worth reading
While knowing the author is involved in other books, I wish he'd spend more time with this series. The series is very entertaining, very hard to put down (3rd time reading this series), and different enough from other dungeon series that I really like this one.
Great story and great characters, I'm excited for the story to continue! The story is well Witten to keep the reader interested and wondering what's going to happen next.
I enjoyed the book and now I am left waiting for the next book in the series. I now need to think of some more words to meet the 20 word requirement to leave a review.
It moves the story along and you can glimpses of future plotlines but for some reason it didn't hold my interest like the first two. I will be getting book four
