Why is this series so long ?? The plot is...well....there isn't much of one anymore at this point.. just a lot of third person he said she said conversations.. nothing new with Stacy.. she can fall off a cliff from for all i care.

When will it end ?
When I started this I did not realize it was a cliffhanger. Just finished the ninth book and still no conclusion. Also, the author takes the women in a very demeaning and unforgiving direction. There are really no redeeming qualities in any of the female leads. Even if one actually gets their happily ever after I'm not sure I would really care or think they deserve it. In the first book the story is about Candy...you think she's going to be the main female focus. But then in two books she's not even mentioned and if she is it's a brief sentence....she plays no role at all. The series could definitely be shortened and in my opinion be better if the author had stopped going in to so much unnecessary detail about what each character was thinking. Some of it was definitely not how some characters would be thinking. After a while it just bogged the story down as it went way overboard. There should be some balance between happy and dark events even if the story is billed as a dark read. We need to somehow be able to find some empathy for the characters at some point. After reading nine books so far....I have not found any.

Not a fan at all of Stacey but absolutely in love with Candy!!!!! Wish Terragon and Fennel and Candy could have ended up together or found some way to make it work now though I believe she deserves better than both!

The part where tarragon and candy finally reunited! I was like yesss finally! Then the ass go fuck everything up ! 🙄 but then fucking kiv ! Ughh he pissed me off ! But I get it 🙄
