I first bought this book in 1992 when I was over 300 lbs. I was at a low point and figured this book was my last resort to lose weight. I was amazed on how good their recipes were and their tips helped me combat cravings, and I lost over 120 lbs.. I bought this book again because my old book was very worn and am now following their guidelines to lose some stubborn fat around my gut. I love, love, LOVE this book and would recommend it to anyone who is out there struggling to lose weight.

In the 1990s, I read this book quite a few times even though I can't say that my muscle ever increased. But it helped need to stay focused on low-fat foods and being aware of what I was eating.
