Scarlett moved to Florida from Maine to get away from her negative family. She is a waitress who works really hard. Her fondest desire is a Daddy or a Dom to take care of her, and fulfill her BDSM fantasies. When she runs to Mason, a guy she crushed on through high school at her restaurant, she is surprised at the mutual attractian. He is there to open a new branch of his business, and is debating moving there. He shows her the ropes (pun intended), and just when you think they might have something real developing...
This is a well written story with lots of kinky action. Scarlett and Mason are relatable characters, with Scarlett being more positive than some people would be with her struggles. Mason is the perfect Hero for her, kind, patient, strict and kinky. Every new book by TS Little is better, and this one is a little bit different from his previous books. It ends on a cliffhanger, so now I wait with bated breath for the next one.

I really liked the story of Mason and Scarlett. It was a slow burn at the beginning and then got spicy at the end. I struggled with the way the story was written in third person. It felt clunky at times and the tense would change mid paragraph frequently. It pulled me out of the story often. It also ends in a cliffhanger which is a bummer but I enjoyed it enough to read the next book.
