If somewhat academic, it is a practical, valuable approach to communication. The examples are familiar and realistic. Even though I’ve read a lot in this genre, I took away several new ideas and tips.

Many useful communication tips are shared here. I have definitely seen my communication skills improve. My only annoyance with the book is that nearly every chapter references one or more other chapters. Perhaps there was no way around that, nonetheless it annoyed me.
