Super cringy. DNF at 50%

I picked this up because I was excited about the "rejected mate" aspect and thought it would be some good angst, but...

Always saying "fated" in front of "mate" drove me nuts. All the "billionare" stuff sounds so juvenile... billionaires don't call themselves billionaires or say "megayacht." I didn't feel like the angst was paying off... everyone just said things without turmoil? The D/s dynamic wasn't well done, in my opinion. He's a Dom, but she's not really a sub, and he just treats her like one? There was no communication about what they want from sex :/

good spice but cringey story

The spice parts are good but this book talks about bdsm and dominate/submissive but I felt a level of cringe every time the male lead called the female lead a little girl… like that term comes off as very dismissive (considering she’s a respected doctor) or in a way that alludes to him have a pedo kink…. Also her submissive role was kind of forced on her; he never asked her, he just expected her to do it because they’re mates.

Let me just tell you, these books are AMAZING! Charmaine takes her signature writing style and goes all Paranormal Romance with wolves, witches, and the power of the fated mate! These fellas have money, swagger, and are very Dominant...🤔 They also happen to be wolves who are very growly when it comes to the women they love.

In Rust's story we get him feeling he'll never find his mate and go mad. All along, she's been working in the same hospital and is a fellow doctor. How didn't he know? Natalie is hiding her nature because of a past she's running from. What she doesn't know, rejecting Rust because of her past may be the biggest mistake of her life.

The Billionaire Wolves of Miami and their mates are the perfect mix of push and pull and pure heat! I can't wait to read the next book and also see the additions made to the pack.

Watching her sister's toxic relationship with her mate, Natalie realized she never wanted to find her mate. When her sister died and her mate turned wanting to claim Natalie, she ran. Now in Miami working at the hospital and is suppressing her wolf.

Rust is an ER doctor, wondering if he will ever find the love like his friends. When Natalie end up in the ER, Rust realizes she is his mate, but she wants nothing to do with him.

This is a great story with the right amount of suspense, longing, drama and passion that grabs you and keeps you turning the pages.

This is book two in the Billionaire Wolves of Miami Series . The characters Natalie and Rust are a couple . This book started off emotional and sad when Natalie sister died at childbirth with her baby .
Natalie brother-in-law to leader of the pack wanted her to married him and she ran far away . Rust is a ER Doctor and likes to work and play harder but still is lonely of not finding his mate . Natalie got hurt and Rust smell her scent and that was it . Rust wants to claim Natalie but she keeps turning him down breaking his heart . Until Natalie didn't want to fight no more . This book is a definitely a must read with a awesome page turner and a great ending .

Natalie watched her sister and baby die then her sister’s mate said that she was his. So Natalie ran and went to medical school and became an Ob-Gyn doctor and got a job in a Miami hospital also was using a serum that she came up with to suppress her wolf. Rust a critical care surgeon worked in the same hospital as Natalie and couldn’t smell her as his fated mate until she had broken the vials and her arm when she fell off the ladder. Later when he walked by her he could smell his fated mate but when he found her, she rejected him she wasn’t going to be treated like the women in her old pack. They were spending time alone and was great until she heard him tell his best friends that if she didn’t accept him he might just force her. So she rejected him a third time and he went feral but she came back and said yes. Good book!.

Natalie is hiding from her old pack after both her parents and sister died. Her sisters death affected her greatly as she was forced to mate with the alpha and died during childbirth.
Natalie fled when she was told she would next to mate to the alpha. She became an OB-GYN as she didn’t want others to suffer like her sister did. After an accident she meets Russ, another Doctor, and can’t stop fantasying about him.
Both characters are interesting and fun.
The book is full of (very) sexy scenes.
This world is full of character and makes this a good read.

How long will Natalie resist Rust?

This was an awesome read and totally enjoyed the characters. You really get to dig into Natalie's life & you can't hep but feel sorry for how life has treated her so far. She is doing her best to carry on but she knows that her past could catch up to her at anytime. Rust, what can I say about him except that at first I almost hated him for the way he acted but as the story develops I came to like his character. This book is a great addition to the series & I look forward to the next book. Worth more than 5 stars.

Her second book of this amazing series is Rust, The Rejected. Rust is closely connected by friendship and kinship to Jagger and is an ER doctor. He is handsome, driven and as he observes the happiness of his friends he wonders when he will find his fated mate, if ever. New to Miami and trying to put her past in the rear, OB-GYN Natalie is not looking for a mate, fated or otherwise. Rust is a surgeon in the ER as well as the pack doctor.

Natalie is an OBGYN who devotes her entire life to saving women and their babies. Natalie has used everything she has learned and been through to deny the fact that she is also a wolf shifter. Once simple mistake sets in motion her finding and denying her fated mate.

Will she overcome her brutal past and find love and understanding in Miami or will she let her fears outweigh any chance at happiness.

Note: if you have read book 1 there are descriptions of wolf lore and places that are exactly the same in every one of the books as if they copied and pasted the description from 1 book to the next. Each love story is different with it's own set of challenges.

I really enjoyed this paranormal series, I eagerly went from book 1-2 and raced through them. I like strong men who need a strong woman and good defeating evil. The figuring out she was hiding her wolf and winning her over was only half the story. The rest is about the brotherhood of the males in the pack. Lots of open door sex in case that's a good/bad for you. One negative for me was that the story opens with him having sex with another female on page, even though we know that she is not the fated mate .

Loved the book, hates the abrupt end

I really hate when a book ends so suddenly and leaves you wanting. It’s a disservice to the readers. I mean seriously, we went through All that mess with our MC’S just to be left abruptly and without warning. Wtf! And after her declaration at that! Not cool. Not cool at all!

Great read

Enjoyed the characters Rust and Natalie.. This was an emotional read and one cannot feel sympathy for both protagonists who have issues - especially Natalie whose background and loss of her family had scarred her.

A continuation of the Billionaire pack and we are re-introduced to characters from the previous stories. A great read!!

Natalie has developed a serum that suppresses her wolf, because of bad experiences in her old pack. Now an OB Dr, she excelles in her field. Rust is an ER Dr. and surgeon, who treats Natalie when she falls and breaks her arm. When her scent and other wolf attributes re-emerge, Rust recognizes her as his fated mate.

On the first page Rust is in a sexual situation with a sub and considering how he should punish her for performing in a way he hadn't directed.

I'm not into the D/S dynamic, so that doesn't bode well for how the rest of the story will go.

This is worse than wattpad. Every 5 seconds "GAH!" or "fated mates" is fucking annoying. The writer used way too many unnecessary and never-before-used-in-books words. This is not D/s or "you are mine to protect" this is controlling on the brink of forcing.
