Me ha dado un poco de pena que este libro me decepcionase. Había leído en redes sociales algunos fragmentos y visto algunos poemas que me llamaron mucho la atención, pero luego se queda un poco corto.
El libro se estructura en varios textos, algunos verso libre, otros más estructurados como 'poesía', sobre ''salud mental''.. el problema es que no llega a ninguna de las cosas.
Como poesía no tiene recursos remarcables, ni metáforas muy profundas salvo 2 o 3 poemas en TODO el libro.
Es muy simple, tampoco tiene reflexiones de tanta profundidad y solo puedes empatizar con ellos si el tema te toca de cerca.. Algunos poemas son básicamente frases motivacionales, a veces roza la autoayuda y no deja tener recursos manidos como la contraposición de la luz y la oscuridad y poco más.. Algunos son muy repetitivos, se podrían juntar muchos que son el mismo...
Hay algunos que hablan de traumas familiares de manera muy condescendiente, otros sobre traiciones, infidelidades, desamor, incomprensión... Lo quiere tocar todo sin meterse en nada.
Disfruté su lectura, porque hay algunos muy bonitos, y al haber tanto abanico de temas seguro que con alguno te puedes identificar..
Me da un poco de pena criticarlo porque parece escrito con muy buena intención desde las vivencias muy personales del autor, pero es más un diario de blogspot, fraases que usar de post en instagram ... Si te tropiezas por casualidad con este libro léelo pausadamente y alguno te generará algún tipo de catarsis pero no lo compres buscándola

This was a good book, and many of the poems definitely resonated. I'd give it a read if you want something to relate to and offer a warm sense of comfort. It took me about two hours to read the entire book. I found it interesting and insightful.

There were a few spelling and grammatical errors, but overall, it was a good book.

A beautiful collection of pure art and vulnerability. Nothing but rawness throughout each page. It definitely helps you not feel alone… something about how the words capture you. He never disappoints. Love love love!!!

This book wasn’t for me. Some read more like a rap song than poetry, but maybe I’m just not depressed enough to enjoy it right now. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Very preachy, religious, egotistical, borderline narcissism, very contradictory & lacks depth compared to other modern poetry I’ve read.

I have been in the biggest reading slump due to the 2022 Vampathon so this book was the perfect thing to get me out of that!
