Melissa O'Connor and her sweet son will not change me. I will never fall in love.

I meet her at a charity meeting, and sparks fly from the get go.
But I'm determined not to get involved with stunner Melissa. All I want is a place in my family's hierarchy. She's bad news.

When we're forced together, our feelings ignite. I want to hate her, but the raw passion between us is irresistible.

And even if we got over our differences... I'm a mobster. A shark. There's no room for darkness in Melissa and her son's peaceful life.

I'm a bad man. And Melissa deserves better. But selfishly, I want to take everything from her...

Silent Savant is a standalone MC mafia romance with twisted mafia kingpins who won't stop until they leave you satisfied. Silent Savant is Book Four of the Mancini Crime Family series with steamy HEAs you'll cherish forever

He was strange too, a little bland and not a relatable character.

This was just weird? I don‘t know why but I couldn‘t connect with the characters at all and the plot lacked. So far the baddest book in this series. The dialogue between Melissa and Adriano was weird and their love story was super messy and I couldn‘t hold up. There was no tension at all and sometimes I didn‘t get what these two were blabbering. The whole book felt rushed and missed the charm from the previous books. Not my cup of tea.

This is Adriano's and Melissa's story. Adriano is the middle child out of 5 and the youngest of the boys. He feels like the exact son as not being as important as the older 2 boys. He works his but off to prove he is just as important...he also plans to never settle down with a family but instead to dedicate himself to the family.

Melissa works for a nonprofit group for raising money for the soldiers and the families that lost someone in the war. She herself lost her husband and now it's just her and her son who never knew his Dad.

The senior Mancini knows more than he says and he charges things.... they have no idea what is going on until they are together.... it's really cute.

Two more books in this series. There's always something Annoying about a book but in this series it's not enough to DNF it... my pet peeves is one thing in each of the books in this series. Example Adriano has on black joggers and a white T-shirt and the next page he is slowly undoing his silky pants.... they all do this

Riveting continuation to Mancini family, wonderful characters and scenario
This was a very different read again from the marvellous author Lily J. Adams she has once again written about the Mancini family, this time the book is centred around their middle brother Adriano Mancini. He met her in the lift as he was attending a meeting, she captivated him and puzzled him with a face and figure like a goddess and yet she seemed totally unaware of his attraction to her.
Then not two hours later in the lift again he had come across looking even more beautiful but equally dishevelled and when she had deemed to speak with him as the lift had gone up instead of down, she’s complained of being sexually harassed whilst attending a meeting in the building and the had taken off like her behind was on fire.
Returning home to see his father he had been shown a letter from a charity that approached his father for funds to help ex-military recovering from PTSD and other conditions that required specialist help. The letter had referred to his mother’s death and this had put Adriano’s nose out of joint so he had gone to the office to visit Melissa O’Connor, to discover where she acquired her information.
The office had been a hive of activity there were people rushing around doing all kinds of things and he also could see a few children playing in the back office, the head of the donations had looked very busy and when he saw her face, he could not believe it was the same woman he had seen in the lift, this could not be mere coincidence?
Then he had me her son Brian and he had reminded him so much of himself when he had lost his mother at the same age as his father had bee killed in action whilst fighting in Afghanistan and Melissa had been left alone with a tiny baby to raise and also had to find somewhere to live and a way to support them both.
The center raising funds for military men and women and their families was so important to her and Brian had been helping since he’d been little and he also took pride in what he helped to do, to show other children they were not alone that there were other kids that had lost their parents.
Adriano has never felt anything like this before and it has thrown him through a loop, he knows that he wants both Melissa and Brian in his life but how will he cope with the responsibility and will his family accept them, she is after all related to the Muldoon’s, well only time will tell?

I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.
I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.

I have been an avid fan of Ms. Lily Adams writing style for some time now and I truly adore the well crafted characters and storylines. While Silent Savant is the fourth installment to The Mancini Crime Family, Adriano's journey is definitely just as riveting as the rest.

Imagine a strong Mafioso Son, who is often quiet and brooding, meeting his long awaited other half in the beautiful Melissa; a spirited and fiercely independent widowed single Mother, to a very impressionable boy, Brian. The instant chemistry and undeniable attraction are what these two are ignoring all while fighting over everything else. Reading along as things progress was addictive and I actually finished this release in 1 day. It has been said that even the mighty fall, however, they are going down together and that is what compells you to keep devouring every word, until the end.

The banter and realism just grabs you. Coming from a very large Military Family, I applaud Ms. Adams using a romance book to also acknowledge our Service men and women. Congratulations again on an outstanding publication.

I was beyond fortunate to have requested an advanced reader's copy of Silent Savant in exchange for my honest and voluntarily given opinion and I highly recommend reading this release, as well as the entire Series as a whole.

I am now impatiently awaiting the next installment Haunted Hunter, featuring Miss Alessia Mancini.

Our author continues her world of the Manini crime family, this time exploring Adriano. He prefers to work with the books and numbers and prefers his solitude. But he also needs to step up a bit working within the family.
Melissa lost her husband in the service, leaving her to care for their young son, Brian who is so full of life and spirit. Melissa works with a charity for ex-military that need support or help with PTSD or other issues. She writes a lot of letters to people asking for funds, and tries to personalize them when possible.
Adriano is tasked by his father to check out the charity, to be sure it is legit before he would donate. So he goes to meet Melissa and see where she got her information. He doesn't realize they already ran into each other twice in an elevator one day. She had a bad experience with a possible donor and thinking Adriano worked in the building, complained to him. Bad first impression.
So when he arrives at the charity office and sees Melissa, then notices all the activities and kids, and then sees her son, it threw him as well as her. And that's just the start of their interactions.
Thoroughly enjoyed this very entertaining humorous, steamy and with Adriano and Michelle not communicating well- a bit of angst thrown in. Also, 'tape man' - a sweet nickname for Adriano from Brian. They have a great connection too.

Wow, just Wow, This 4th book in The Mancini Crime Family Series has just blown me away!
I could not put it down, I had to read it in one sitting!
This is the story of the youngest Mancini son Adriano, who is reserved, resolutely single and the woman he has a whirlwind meeting in a lift, Melissa.
Melissa is an armed forces widow with a young son, she is energetic, outgoing and runs a.charity for veterans. Adriano is unbelievably attracted to this small gorgeous red haired beauty who dashes into the lift he is in, he can’t bring himself to say anything but when she gets out on an earlier floor he regrets his decision.
I loved the how each of the character’s background stories were woven into the story it felt very real, previous characters were included and some of their stories interwoven into this book as the author has done so very well in each of her books
This makes for a very cohesive series but done in a way that doesn’t stop the book being a standalone read.
I loved the relationship between Melissa’s son Brian and Adriano his “Tape Man”

Fantastic Addition to Series!
This Mafia Romance has a unique twist that I loved. Adriano Manicini is the third and youngest brother in the Mancini Famiglia. He has not been too involved in the business yet. His specialty is books not the battle field, but he wants to prove himself to his father and brothers. As soon as he catches a glimpse of Melissa O’Connor in the elevator she becomes a distraction. He needs to keep his mind on business not her beauty and bounce. They keep getting thrown together though and her five year old son reminds him so much of himself, This is a well written steamy romance with heart endearing dynamics that tore at my heart. The last chapter left me on the edge of my seat waiting for Alessia’s story. Lily J. Adams never disappoints me whether she is writing a steamy romance about the Mafia or MC Bikers. Her storylines and characters are riveting.
I received an ARC of this book from the author in return for voluntarily writing an honest review.

I am head over heels for these two. Having read a couple of the other stories in the Mancini family, I can say that as of right now (we aren't finished) this is my favorite. The story flowed smoothly and not overly fast. Melissa and Ant are delightful. Honestly, with these two characters and their past I could only think of one thing while I was reading. I kept seeing a nature documentary on hermit crabs on replay in my head. When two were fighting over being the dominant one who gets the new shell.
These two are both dominant personalities and dead set on doing what they need to, and obtaining it. When cornered though, they both retreat and go back into their emotional shells. Endearing, funny and frustrating. Being able to envision the relationship in that way, made the book so much more enjoyable.
As always family plays a big part. More questions get answered. Life goes on. The Mancini's have my heart.

Lily did it again!!! I love the Mancini family but Adri just stole my heart. Adriano is the middle child of the Mancini family. He is an introvert in and extroverted family. Melissa is a army window and her son Brian has to be the sweetest little boy ever. Both are from strong families and Melly is very out going. This book is an instant love connection but with a little push from a loved one. Adri and Brian have an instant connection right from the start. Adri having lost a parent just like Brian feels a kinship yo the little boy and Brian has a hero worship for his Tape Man. If you are going to read this book I suggest starting from Book 1 Savage Hero you will not be disappointed. Each story that plays out shows us how different everyone lives and loves. Thank you Lily for such a great story.

Wow. Lily has done it again - very well crafted and written, the story of two very wounded people, so very different, yet together… Great characters - beautiful, feisty, strong, independent war widow and a committed activist for promoting mental health awareness for PTSD with her young son shares a lift with the handsome third son of the Mancini crime boss. Later, are they being deliberately pushed into meeting each other?
Action-filled, complicated plot, lots of players, what a thrilling adventure. It’s hard to stop these books, once you start them! And the chemistry is off the charts between Melly and Adriano. I was captivated by the interactions between them, and the way this was developed. This author has a real gift for developing her characters.
I received this book as an arc and this review is entirely voluntary.

Good interesting characters together
I waited impatiently for Adriano because of the reputation his family gave him, of being soulless, with a strong desire to take rank in the hierarchy of his family.
His meeting with Mélissa, a widow and single mother who works for a charity, is the exact opposite of what he wants for him, just as he is the opposite of what she would like in a man. Adriano adores her but finds her too perfect to be honest.
As a result, they forcefully try to hate each other. It was their efforts to hate each other that I loved and how a sentence here and there still emotionally moved their relationship forward.

Adriano, the middle son in the Mancini family, possibly the one who was still a little uncertain in the familial scheme of things and what his role was.
Melissa had returned to her roots with her newborn son, to the family her father had distanced them from. Bad feelings arose, but she was able to find her place in society working with a charity organisation when she met her gentlemanly gangster.
I fell so deeply into this episode of the Mancini's with all honour to Lily J. Adams who found me somewhere and gave me the opportunity to read her book. I now look forward to reading the clanger dropped in the epilogue and see what Alessia has been doing in her spare time and who the mystery man can be.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It is a quick, well-written, fast-paced, read. Alpha male/Mafia member, Adriano meets sweet Melissa and does everything he can to fight the feelings he is developing for her. She doesn’t believe a man like him would ever be interested in someone like her. There’s lots of angst in the form of the H and h not communicating and making false assumptions about what the other is feeling. The story includes engaging characters, witty banter, with lots of action, danger, and twists I didn’t see coming, but ending in a HEA. This book is a standalone that is Book 4 of an interconnected series. You’ll want to read them all.

I love all the series, but this is a special book.
I love Adri, with all his issues from the past, and his connection with Brian.
This was heart welming, and I liked him more for this.
And Melly is exactlly what he need, and don’t know how to say it.
His struggle with expressing his feelings was endering and I was a little mad on him.
But he got to have his HEA.
I love the accent that Lily put on beeing an extended family, not by blood but by choice.

Can’t wait Alessia’s story - the good girl being in trouble. It break my heart a little!

I received an ARC copy and I let my honest voluntary review.

Awesome Read
While I jumped right into this series reading Silent Savant first, I know I am missing a lot of information and will now need to go back and read each one that came beforehand to truly appreciate this material. Lily Adams did an incredible job here and this is my first book by her but it won’t be my last! Silent Savant is about Melissa and Adriano. Melissa is a single mom with a young son that dub’s Adriano his nickname of “Tape Man” and thinks he is amazing while Melissa is very reserved with her emotions and feelings. I really can’t wait to begin this series from the beginning as well as see how Lily takes each Mancini and gives them the perfect HEA!

Adriano and Melissa's story is fantastic. Their first two meetings are completely by happenstance. Yet the chemistry is unmistakable. She was widowed by war; her husband was a soldier in Iraq. But she's intimately familiar with mafia organizations as her heritage is of the Irish mob. Adri is the type who doesn't know how to express his emotions. At least not vocally. The book ends with the foreshadowing of Alessia's story.

Easy-to-read. Entertaining. Happily Ever After. Romantic. Scary. Steamy. Tragic. Twisted. Unpredictable. Whimsical. Wonderful characters.

I received a review copy of this book from a third party. This is my honest review.

This is a 4.5⭐️ read
Forth instalment in the Mancini crime family story.
This one was connected but different.
Adriano is the youngest of the Mancini siblings
Melissa is a widowed single mum.
Really well written and I loved how their background stories were included in the story getting us to understand their past as well as what is happening.
Must note I adored Adriano’s relationship with Brian, Melissa’s son. Added an extra bit of reality to the story.
Really enjoying this series.

I was given a complimentary copy but voluntarily chose to review

Another wonderful story with all the complications and feels of falling in love. Adriano is somewhat awkward and lacks confidence in personal relationships. Melissa is the widow of a veteran and fierce single mom. There's definitely an attraction if only someone would acknowledge it!!! I love the scenes with Adri and Melissa's son Brian. Adriano shows us his playful side and Brian is really sweet. I also loved how Adriano's family really rallied to "help" him along with the relationship. I received this ARC and this is my honest review.

Adriano and Melly!

Beautiful story!lt reminded of loss loves, sleeping beauty, and even Cinderella! Adriano being quiet brother who feels more hurt, closed up and afraid to show his feelings because he doesn't handle rejection very good, who show what he feels best thru his paintings. Melissa who wears her feelings on her sleeve and at times doesn't want anyone to know! This story made me smile when Adri 's family gets together and takes his love life in their hands and gets Melissa and him together and even his father had a hand it!

Adriano, having avoided any true relationship by using prostitutes to serve his needs, finally meets his love. Melissa is certainly not the woman he expected..she was awidow, a mother and a temper, challenging him at all times.
She comes from Irish enemy stock, but is independent of it and perhaps his father has a hand in his middle child's happiness. Subterfuge is involved and ruffled feathers to smooth but alls well that ends well.
Well written, interesting series

A Mafia gentleman finds his lady

Adriano is a member of the Mancini family. He has watched his two brothers and one sister fall in love already. Even though he can see their happiness, he has never thought that the same thing would ever happen to him. In walks Melissa, a woman with a young son who has lost her husband in battle, and believes that her heart can never be healed again. Can they find their peace in each other, and the love that they both deserve?

Adriano and Melanie are my favourite Mancini couple along with her little boy. She does her best to discourage him and he is so awkward with personal relationships, he soon learns the business approach doesn’t work. I wanted to shake some sense in to him so many times and, to be honest, slap him stupid but he gets there in the end.

Wow... I swear this series keeps getting better and better after every new book released. This is the fourth book in this series and it was just as great as the other three.
I was completely drawn into this story right from the very start. These two were meant to be together, a perfect balance in a relationship.
Once again Lily J Adams writes and gives us readers an amazing fantastic story.

Well, this book was rather primal. It’s probably my least favorite with the aggression and primitive steam. I felt like it emphasized the bedroom way more than the other books did and didn’t have as much of a plot line for me to disappear into. I’m still excited to finish out the series, though.

Loving this series...
This can read as a standalone but I'd miss that sensory feeling of reconnecting with characters I've met in earlier books in the series which have quickly become my favourite by this great author. Won't detail the story which has been outlined in the blurb & prior reviews but I recommend it highly. I received an arc & this is my honest & voluntary review.

Silent Savant: A Mafia Romance. (The Mansion Crime Family Series Book 4)

I really enjoyed our writing and story telling in this book Lily J. Adams, I think anyone who likes romance and love along with the mix of mafia mayhem should read this series. Such action and excitement all in one book is a hard to put down book. I can't wait to read the next book in this series.

This is the story of Melissa and Adriano, the way they found each other. Read this book you won't be sorry. There are several scenes with Melissa's son Brian who at times steals the story. I love the entire Mancini mafia family series.
