This book grabbed my attention from the start and continued to entertain me until the last page. Once I sat down I didn't want to put the book down until I got to the end. Its a beautiful love story between two strong-willed characters, Dante & Corrine.
The way in which Dante & Corrine characters are developed, they come alive through their emotions then together as one. Add in all of the other elements of the book which has a lot going for it: action-packed, suspense, betrayal, greed, lots of twist and unpredictable turns, mystery, wonderful characters, building trust, family loyalty and love, emotions, wonderful sex and steamy romance.
I received a free copy of this book for an honest review. I would recommend this book to anybody who enjoys Dark Mafia Romance, Thriller Romance, Suspense Romance, Cartel Romance, and Enemies to Lovers Romance books. This book is easy to read, a page-turner, a beautiful love story and very entertaining. What more could you ask for?

I love the Mafia King's Corrupted Series. The Luca men are my favorite mafia heroes and this is my favorite series that I own and have read. Kiana Hettinger really has done an amazing job. Each time I begin reading the latest book I think there is no way this series can get better and she proves me wrong. With this book Dante Luca has become my all time favorite Luca brother.
Kiana has masterfully woven all her characters together. With each book I feel more immersed with the Luca Family. While some things are predictable there are plenty that are not. I like surprises and knowing Kiana can keep me guessing is a major plus. Each book has captured my attention from the first page and keeps me coming back for more and anxiously waiting to see what happens in the next chapter.
Dante is a man who takes his promises serious and failure is not an option. He is very loyal and protective of those he loves. He does an amazing job dealing with all of Corinne's quirks. It is no easy task trying to reassure her everything will be okay and that she is okay. He slowly falls for her, but of course he fights it. Dante is stubborn and refuses to see her as anything but a temporary distraction. Corinne is a fiesty stubborn lady who has a lot going on in her life. She is very protective of those she cares about and loves. She likes to blame herself for everything bad that happens. At times Corinne drives me crazy with how argumentative and naive she is putting herself and others in danger. Without realizing it Corinne is falling for Dante and does everything she can to deny this truth. They both have a few things to work through if they want their happily ever after.
If you enjoy mafia series with dominate alpha males and women who can hold their own then this is a series you will want to be sure to read.
I received an ARC for Corrupted Obsession and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is part of the Mafia Kings Corrupted series each book can be read as a standalone but connect through the characters so, buckle up this is a wild ride, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, so gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love (ALL THINGS TO EXPECT FROM THE MAFIA WORLD). By the time you’ve figured out who is who and what is what, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter! CAN’T SAY YOU WEREN’T WARNED!!!!! We met sexy as all get out Dante in previous books, he didn’t underestimate grumpy, controlling oh wait protective is the right word, ruthless when needed, usually dark when needed but he also shows he has a heart especially when it comes to those he loves. Corrine feisty, intelligent, doesn’t fear him (shhh which keeps him attracted 😊) she has known about the grumpy mafia man for a while but their paths never crossed until the day he decided to kidnap her and her path changes. Realizing they are after the same goal her to find her sister and him to find the sister of a family friend both have been taken by traffickers learning each other the more time they spend her OCD is accepted by him and she accepts all his grumpy sides but neither are ready to admit they need, love each other but will it be enough, will they find their family, will they take out the traffickers along the way on their adventure, and can they find happiness?.

A story about a couple who has known about each other for a long time but has never been close until he kidnaps her. Come to find out that they’re both trying to do the same thing but for different reasons, he’s trying to a family friend’s sister and she’s trying to find her sister both of which has been kidnapped by human traffickers. She puts herself at risk to be the next one kidnapped but he stops her. His brother’s wife is friends with the woman. During the time together they fight and have sex. He finds out about her OCD. He gets information that people can’t be trusted and that they need to move to more secured place, he moves them to his families mansion. They get even closer starting to trust one another, somewhat. She finds a note saying not to find her sister. The woman of the household tells her that they can tell that he’s in love with her and that she looks the same way towards him but she tries to deny what they say. The man’s sister decides they need some fun so they each take off for a drive in a different car getting back the man’s standing their waiting telling her that that wasn’t a good idea. She tries to sleep in a different room but his she can’t and neither can he, he comes in her room to have sex. She gets a call about her sister telling her to meet, she leaves a note for him and takes a car for getting to the meeting area but come to find out the guy that called works for the kidnappers. He cuts the tattoo off of her and sends it to the man. She leaves him a note. He’s worried that he will lose her, coming to find out that he cares for her and also that he may love her. The man and some of the others go to find her and the others. They get close to her location coming to find help on the way they make it to were they’re at. The others find her and the rest of the kidnapped women setting them free they go to make their way out of the building. The woman’s worried that the man is dead but he finds the group. The group make it out of the building and all leave except for the couple, his brothers, some friends and her sister. They get shot at from the man who took them, her stepdad, she shoots him but before she shoots him he shoots one of the men and her man. They’re getting ready to leave but find out that the stepdad is not dead so they leave him to the man that helped them to deal with him. They have told one another that they love each other. This is an amazing book. The characters are like no other I have read. This story has it all drama, suspense, action, thrills, some adventure with a whole lot of spicy romance. I recommend this book for the wonderful writing also for the happily ever after that makes the storyline so outstanding.

There is a lot that is unique and entertaining about CORRUPTED OBSESSION. You have to be prepared for a stubborn, impulsive and often difficult leading lady in Corinne. This was such a good character. Her internal dialog, especially with respect to her OCD, was so critical to accepting the uncooperative and even nasty, at times, external dialog. She does come off as “crazy” if you don’t pay attention, and no one paid better attention to her than Dante.
Both insisting they were not interested in a relationship, we soon realize they are the only two that believe this. Dante is swoon worthy in his understanding of Corinne’s demons (internal and external). He is also a caveman and insatiable in the carnal arts. They both are, so be prepared for many such episodes.
As far as the plot goes, I was surprised at the twists. I’m not surprised very often but the author is excellent at laying the trail, then teasing your attention elsewhere so you don’t appreciate the hints given until later.
It kept my interest. I do have to say that the cast of characters is getting a little large. It took me awhile to remember the stories with Ella and Leo or Dom and Fallon even though I read their books. There is a lot going on in all the stories. I enjoyed this one and would read Gabe’s when it comes out, too.

Corrupted Obsession was really good, it had action, a very stubborn & determined mfc, a hot as sin mmc that was instantly possessive & taken by the mfc. Definitely grabbed me at the beginning & kept me interested right to the end! When Corinne’s sister goes missing she’ll do anything to get her back- even risk her own safety & become bait. But when she’s rescued just in time, she’s not happy, & neither is her rescuer. Dante has been trying to find the men responsible for his friends kidnapping & is almost close to getting answers when he’s forced to step in & save a woman f/the same fate. A woman he knows very well- his brothers wife best friend- Corinne. When he demands answers for why she was there, she’s not very forthcoming, but eventually gives in. They’re both looking people they care about. But even as they get closer Corinne is still holding back secrets f/him. Both swear they don’t want a relationship- only sex until it’s not fun anymore, but it’s obvious to everyone that there’s a lot more between them. And that becomes clear to both when Corinne risks everything again for her sister, but only this time Dante isn’t there to save her. When the past comes back for Corinne she’s definitely not expecting it or prepared for it! This was a good read, & the ending will surprise you!
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "CORRUPTED OBSESSION" What a phenominal story from start to finish its action packed, full of emotional turmoil, scorching hot sex scenes, secrets, danger, angst, suspense, mystery, humor, banter, kidnapping, human trafficking, twists & surprises that you don't see coming. Corinne McKenna is headstrong, reckless, trouble maker, hilarious, impulsive, she's been looking for her sister Camilla who's been missing for 6mos. she do anything to find her even attack Las Serpientes Cartel who are taking woman into trafficking. Dante Luca gets a call from Rosa saying get sister Gia is missing will try to find her at a meeting with Las Serpientes Cartel with Cristian he spots the girl on dance floor they have their eyes set on taking but Dante takes captive knowing she's Fallon's BF his brother Dom's wife she wouldn't forgive him if she got hurt & he could prevent it. I definitely recommend to get this amazing journey "DANTE & CORINNE" take you on their chemistry is scorching hot, I love these two so many laugh out loud moments between them & the girls in then Luca Mafia family & their men. I'm so looking forward to the next book in this fantastic series "CORRUPTED VOWS" is Gabe's story it can't come soon enough I can't wait to read. PHENOMINAL MINDBLOWING READ🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
My first finish of the year! And hot damn it was a good one! This was an ARC that I received from Book Sirens. It is currently available so you can absolutely snag it now. I read it on my Kindle and man on man - it was a slow angsty burn but oh so SPICY! This book was #4 in a series of stand alones in the same world. I read this as a stand alone and I have not read the other previous books but I just might need to.
This is the story of Dante and Corinne. Dante is looking for family friend Gia. Corinne is looking for sister Camille. They believe they’ve been taken by the same human traffickers out of the same shady club. Can they combine forces to find their loved ones?
Dante is a cocky asshole with a sweet spot for his woman. “Look at her and die” energy. “She’s my whole world” energy. Basically, everything book boyfriends are made of. I absolutely loved Corrine and Dante and I absolutely loved the other characters, but I do feel like I would have loved this book more if I knew the other characters on a deeper level. So if given the choice I do think you should read these books in order. 4.5 stars!
Thank you so much to Book Sirens for my ARC. This is my honest review of Corrupted Obsession by Kiana Hettinger. My first of this author but not my last!
I read a Beta copy of Corrupted Obsession, and I can’t wait for the rest of you to get to read this action-packed spicy mafia romance. I have really enjoyed getting to know the Luca family in this series, and Corrupted Obsession is the best book yet!
Dante Luca isn’t looking to settle down at all. He is at a bar on business when he sees that his SIL’s best friend, Corrine, is being targeted by traffickers. Dante kidnaps her in order to save her, which puts his business in jeopardy. However, Corrine is pissed! She didn’t need a savior, and she has her own secrets and plans.
The plot of this book is very fast paced. So much goes on and there were a lot of surprising plot twists. However, the fast paced plot didn’t take away from Dante and Corinne’s character development.
I loved Dante. He is totally caught off guard by his attraction to Corinne, but I love how he just goes for it. Corrine was a little more resistant to their connection. There was so much natural chemistry and tension. Some great banter as well. Watching their relationship develop was a lot of fun and hot.
I am loving this series so much and I can’t wait to see where it goes next! I’d love to see a book about Amadeo in the future!
I don’t think I’ll ever get enough of the Luca men!! They’re all unique && amazing in their own way && Dante’s story was no different. I fell in love all over again! He’s our brooding man whore who loves his family && will go to the ends of the earth to protect those he loves && cares about. We get to see another side to Dante && I definitely swooned for it! It’s hard no to. I absolutely loved Corrine from book one && I’m so glad that she was paired with Dante! He needed someone that would push his buttons && make him work for it. I also loved that she wasn’t a “perfect” heroine, she has issues like everyone else && has to learn how to deal with them! I loved every minute of this book, it had all the action, suspense, angst, spice, laughs, family && everything you love about a mafia romance!! I'm sad there’s no more Luca men but I’m excited to see what the next book holds for Gabe. The Corrupted series is definitely one of my top favorites!! 🥰🥰❤️🔥
Make sure you get your copy on December 26, 2022!

This book was suspenseful and action packed and a very entertaining read overall. I generally liked the main characters, Corrine and Dante together - they had good chemistry. Corrine was a tab bit annoying and a little too impulsive for my liking and seemed to have contradictory character traits compared to the description given of her.
There were definitely a few interesting twists in the story that made it engaging and kept me guessing till the end however, I felt the story was missing information in the backstories of some of the characters that would have made the plot more believable. I won’t elaborate on my questions as I can’t without including spoilers.
It is clear that this book is part of a series as couples from other books are featured. I haven't read any of other books and this didn’t take away from the story in this book however, I can’t help but wonder if my questions about the main characters’ histories/backstories can be answered by reading previous books.
This was an interesting read; my first book by this author and I look forward to more. Thank you to the author and BookSirens for this ARC; I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I am so sorry this is late, I have been sick since Christmas and just managed to finish the book!
I absolutely love Kiana Hettinger's books! She doesn't disappoint with this one either!
Dante and Corrine have known each other for a long time but didn't actually get close until he kidnaps her to save her from being kidnapped from some really bad people. Of course, little did Dante know, that was her plan! She is bound and determined to find out what happened to her sister and find her.
Dante fouls her plan by kidnapping her and she is pissed. Dante finds spending time with her, he is slowing falling in love with her even if he fights it in every way possible. Corrine is determined to find her sister and bucks Dante in many ways. She fights her feeling for him as well even though everyone in the house can see they both are in love with each other, well everyone but them!
Dante has become my favorite character!!
Kiana, this has become one of my favorite series of all time and I am so excited to see where the next book takes us all!.

Corrupted Obsession is book 4 in the series Mafia Kings. It's fast paced, full of suspenseful action, witty banter, sheets on fire and a HEA. The MCs are both stubborn, feisty and opinionated. TW: Torture, Murder, OCD, and Sex Trafficking
Dante Luca's investigation has turned into a rescue mission when he discovers that sex traffickers are after his SILs best friend, Corrine McKenna. He steals her out from under them and keeps her captive for info.
Corrine has been on a mission for the last 6 months so she puts herself up as bait to save her sister, Camilla. When she realizes she's been taken by the wrong man, her temper comes undone and she clashes over and over with Dante.
Dante is used to getting his way and Corrine doesn't like to be told what to do. Their tempers turn to passion and then they are consumed by each other. Neither wants a long term relationship but neither can walk away from what's transpiring between them either.
When the sex traffickers succeed and capture her it's a race against the clock for Dante to get to the jungle and take back what belongs to him.
I enjoyed the book and how engrossed in the story I was. The characters were likable even though Dante was morally grey, he had a code and was overall a good man, Corrine was definitely reckless and a bit impulsive but i didn't find myself feeling annoyed with her and her decisions like i usually do with some fmc in other books. I appreciated how not only wasn't this the usual mafia romance story, the characters weren't weak and cookie cutter, but even more, the storyline wasn't predictable. I haven't read the other books in the series and it didn't take away from the book or make me feel like I was missing info or lost, but it does make me want to read the previous books and I will definitely read the next/future books in the series as well. Heat: 8/10 Emotion 7/10 Story: 7/10 Characters: 8/10 Interest: 8/10 POV: Dual No Cheating No Cliffhanger
"Corrupted Obsession" is an extremely well written Mafia story. Two people having the same goal, not trusting each other get involved in the action together. The story is interesting, full of action, suspense and hotness. The main characters are intriguing, especially the heroine who has her issues, i loved both of them. The supporting characters are also good. The writing style is great and the dialogues and banter are so good. The only thing, at the end i had this feeling that some things were not explained. I will definitely read the rest of the series and more books from Kiana Hettinger.

The storyline is excellent. It held my attention. Plenty of unpredictable twists and turns that kept me reading and turning pages. Dante was a bad boy, tough as nails, no nonsense type of guy. I liked him. Corinne I did not like as much. I felt she was too combative and unreasonably stubborn. She was reckless in her actions. She only thought of herself and what she wanted not realizing the danger she was putting herself in. And when danger came for her she inadvertently dragged other people into it. Other than Corinne's character it is a good book.

Wow I absolutely loved this book it was great, the story was exhilarating and the characters were sensational. This story was about Dante and Corinne and how they both got their happily ever after. Dante has been looking for his sister that went missing then he started to noticed things, he has to be careful or he could make it worse. Corinne is searching for her baby sister after she went missing and slowly she noticed a pattern, she has photos layer out and more information than Dante. Dante kidnapped her trying to keep her safe but the Cartel have different reasons for wanting her.

I thoroughly enjoyed this couple and their journey!! Corinne and Dante had no clue what they were in for when their lives collided. She is courageous, intelligent, brave, and beautifully outrageous. Dante has met his match and his life as a man ho is finished. These two complete one another sexually and emotionally. Kiana has outdone herself with this book! The chemistry is off the charts hot and their dialogue is extremely explicit and well written. The steamy sex scenes are very nicely done. The support characters from other books in this series are utilized to create continuity and enhance their development. Loved it!!.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. I loved this book. I love all the books from this author. Dante is on a mission to save a young girl from traffickers. They have her and he has to find her. Corinne is also on a mission to find her sister who was also taken. She has even gone so far as putting herself in the line of sight of the traffickers. This is where Dante comes when he saves her from being taken and he keeps her safe and away from them. She is going crazy and she is super angry at him and she didn't want to be saved. How is she supposed to save her sister?
Dante Luca was brother to the head of the Luca Mafia, and a womanizer, never feeling the need to settle for only one female… then Corrine entered his life… she was the best friend of his brother Dom's wife, trouble with a capital tee… a feisty, beautiful, tattooed redhead who was noticed by a gang of human traffickers, so he had to claim her for himself… he was looking into the cartel as someone protected by the family was taken… but why was Corrine trying to infiltrate the cartel??? You will need to read this spine-tingling, roller-coaster ride story to see what happens… I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Corinne is looking for her missing sister, and Dante is looking for a missing friend, but he finds Corinne instead, as she's purposely putting herself in a dangerous situation. She's not all impressed by Dante's rescue, and it takes her some time to see that he's not a bad guy. Well, not towards her at least.
Dante and Corinne don't want relationships or love, yet they're drawn to one another more and more as the days go on, as they try to find the missing people close to them. Corinne has other troubles, something difficult for her to admit and deal with, but Dante actually tries to help her instead of making her feel worse about herself, which was sweet.
I've enjoyed each of the Luca books so far, and this one was great too. Action, suspense, and romance, it had it all.
The story grabbed me at the very beginning. Corrine is looking for her sister who's gone missing. Corrine has known about Dante but never crossed paths with him. Dante ends up kidnapping Corrine and the find they are searching for the same thing. He's grumpy, ruthless, and controlling. Corrine is spunky and isn't scared of Dante. While not looking for a relationship they find that they are attracted to each other and their chemistry is, just wow. They were just perfect for each other. Enjoyed the story and the series. Can't wait to read about Gabe. Recommend.

Ok, so at this point in the series I realized the overlap doesn't get tied in too much. That's ok. I had a few minutes in Dante's book to put some stuff together and make it all make sense. Continuity is important even if they're not technically interconnected.
I like Dante and Corrine together. It suprised me because I didn't feel the need for Dante's story and Corrine, in book 1, didn't seem important.
I really love the farther we get into the series to lore we see of past characters and how they all intertwine.
I'm bummed I just discovered this author and series and have to wait until December for the next book but totally worth it.
Dante had worked hard at getting in with the cartel that trafficked women, then Corinne came along. Corinne wanted answers to her sisters disappearance, and wasn't afraid to jump in the deep end and into the criminal world. But being taken by Dante wasn't in her plans, let alone becoming part of his plan. But when their connection becomes more where will it leave them, when a past comes back, can Dante keep her safe? Well written suspense filled, with steamy hot scenes, action, drama, twists galore and more!
Book 4 did not disappoint. Dante continues along the Luca men alpha personality. He’s undercover as a human trafficker when Fallons best friend, also undercover, stumbles into the bar. Corinne’s spitfire personality with a touch of OCD is trying to find her sister. Great book, hilarious, secrets and betrayal. An emotional roller coaster. Love the Luca family bond and the women they chose. Can’t wait for Gabes book.

There are a lot of moving parts to this episode in the Mafia Kings series. Dante isn't looking for a relationship and neither is Corrine, but when they get together it is explosive! They work together to find Corrine's sister as well as other missing girls. Corrine though has a difficult time following directions meant to keep her safe. I think it would be helped if there were family trees or a link to them as there are many families and different relationships indicated. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I love this mafia series and I so loved Dante. While he may be on the wrong side of the law so to speak, his love for Corrine was endless. Corrine, on the other hand had a hard childhood and she was strong and independent in her own right. Almost too much for me where she was almost naive when it came to her plight. She put herself in danger so often that I thought she was foolish. Especially since the end game would have gotten her killed 99% or the time. I received an advanced copy and I’m leaving this review voluntarily.
I'm loving the men in this mafia series. They are all strong characters in their own way. And when they fall in love, they just want to keep their women safe. If only their women would cooperate. But then, they would not be happy without having an independent woman who is able to stand up to them. For some reason, it took me a while to really get into this story. There are lots of twists along the way and plenty of action in the latter half. I love that there are side characters that add to the story.
This is the best series I’ve had the honor of reading. This book is just another great addition to the series. I fell in love with Dante and Corinne. In my opinion they’re the hottest characters in the series. Some steamy scenes in there. Suspenseful and action packed. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time I read it. Looking forward to reading more from the series. Highly recommend reading this and the rest of the series.
