Denny is planning to propose to Eliza on Christmas Day, but she needs some help finding the perfect ring. Will it all go according to plan, or will she end up being the one surprised?
Jae is the author of twenty-six award-winning romances between women. She lives in the sunniest city of Germany, near the French and Swiss borders. The writing bug bit her at the age of eleven.
She used to work as a psychologist but gave up her day job in 2013 to become a full-time writer and a part-time editor. As far as she’s concerned, it’s the best job in the world.
When she’s not writing, she is an avid reader of sapphic books, indulges her ice cream and office supply addictions, and watches way too many crime shows.
That said, I personally wish authors would avoid releasing separate epilogues—even though this one was generously provided for free on Jae’s website if you sign up to her newsletters. Including this epilogue in the main story would have made the book feel more complete and cohesive. As lovely as it was to revisit these characters, I feel like the emotional payoff would have been even stronger within the original narrative.
Still, this epilogue delivers all the warmth and charm fans of the book could hope for! A satisfying conclusion to a wonderful story.
This story gives us a glimpse into the lives of Eliza and Denny and where there at over a year later on than where Wrong Number Right Woman leaves off!
It’s cute, it’s sweet and it’s everything I didn’t know I needed! I love these ladies and getting to spend more time with them was a real treat! The love between them is so special and beautiful it melts my heart. By the end I had joyful tears and a happy heart.
Don’t miss out on this wonderful story it really is the sweetest ❤️
This was really adorable and heartwarming. I love Denny and Eliza, two adorable and relatable characters with such a sweet love story, and this was a perfect follow up <3 I definitely recommend reading Wrong Number, Right Woman first, of course.
There is something so beautiful about the way Jae can make me smile until it hurts with her beautiful descriptions and adorable characters. I adored this short story and was so happy to see what life has in store for Denny and Eliza after Wrong Number, Right Woman.
Short and sweet love story! I really enjoyed this brief story with the adorable couple madly in love and both tried so hard to let their feelings known. The ending is a sweet surprise and the perfect token of hope and love.
This short story is a sequel to Wrong Number, Right Woman, featuring Denny and Eliza. The book is written from Denny’s point of view as she wants to plan the perfect proposal for Christmas. Little does she know, Eliza is planning a Christmas surprise of her own.
Such a lovely, sweet story written perfectly by Jae. Her books never fail to leave me smiling. 🥰
As Christmas nears, Denny plans a surprise for Eliza. This short story follows up on the lives of the main characters from "Wrong Number, Right Woman" and there are more surprises than one in store. Another great offering from Jae. There's only one problem: now we need another full-length story about these two in order to see how everything unfolds!
Jae has the most loving tribute epilogue for Wrong Number, Right Woman. There is no doubt that Eliza and Denny have a bright, happy, exciting life ahead. Jae we can do almost anything with a big family clan cheering us on and backing us up. Thank you Jae for letting us peek into their future. Please keep up the journey.
Absolutely Devine! Before reading this, I re-listened to Wrong Number Right Woman. It was the perfect thing to do! This short story was the just the delightful continuation of Denny and Eliza’s story. The previews alerted us that Denny was working on how to surprise Eliza with a proposal, but actually reading it reveals another wonderful surprise!
Denny and Eliza had “met” accidentally when Eliza had texted the wrong number and ask for dating advice. Now Denny is looking for the perfect ring for her Christmas Day proposal. A wonderful short story from Jae.
Wrong number right woman is possibly my favorite book by Jae. This was a wonderful little addition. However it ended far too soon. Now I want even more. Oh well this will have to tide me over until their next book. Definitely worth the read.
I really enjoyed getting a glimpse of the characters after the book was done. It is really nice to be able to find out how the characters you are invested in are doing!
Denny wants to propose to Eliza on Christmas Day. She enlists Eliza's family for help with the ring. It becomes a circus. Will they become engaged? Will Denny find a ring?
I enjoyed this short story. It is a continuation of Wrong Number, Right Woman. I liked Denny and Eliza. I chuckled that Eliza's family knew before her she was getting engaged. I enjoyed how they decided on the ring.
