Blood Queen is book 2 from Kelly Coulte, be sure to check out book 1: Blood Witch. Book 2 is centered around Zoe and her journey of finding herself and her magic. She’s a blood witch without a coven, her mother was murdered by a Lycan and she won’t stop until she has her revenge.

Much much better than the first. In this one Zoe is focused on revenge. Revenge is a dish best served cold. She really evolved from the first book. I'm very pleased we get more of a deeper story here. This little world grew up too.

Nothing will get in her way. She has found a source of great knowledge and she’s willing to dive into it as deep as she can go, but will she be able to get back? And most important, will she have Lucian by her side? Now that she knows he’s a Lycan, the tension between them is stronger than ever and their relationship is a thrill to read.

Bloðod Queen by Kelly Coulter is a contemporary paranormal romance. It is Book 2 of the Blood Witch Chronicles. This story is much different than the first. Whereas in Book 1 she discovered that she wasn't human and was on the run with her friends. Now she is no longer running. Now she wants revenge. With her newfound power she has evolved into a force to be reckoned with. There are big changes in the characters and plot. Coulture has once again dragged me along for an intense ride. Somehow this story was better than the first. If you crave dark stories in a magical world where the fmc craves vengeance then this story is from you.

I thought Blood Witch was amazing but this one far exceeds it. I loved how Zoe really grows as a character and comes into herself and embraces herself more. I also enjoyed how it got more detailed and more in depth with the story. Also who doesn’t love a good revenge plot. Such an epic conclusion to her journey. Kelly hit it out of the park again with this book.

This is second book in the Blood Witch Chroniciles. As the previous book there is graphic sex,violence and bad language.
The rage Zoe needs to be silenced. She is learning more about her powers and is growing stronger every day. But is her need for revenge going to destroy her or save her.
